    Nice to see somebody doing teardown, and reassembly. Without the use of power tools.

    I LIKE YOUR STYLE! Nothing fancy, no power tools, just good old fashioned wrench turning and obviously filled with knowledge and experience. New fan. New subscriber. 👍🏼

    I can attest on my 22 RKS. I installed the rear shocks a few months ago and it was not and day on the rear. The front still bucked, but the rear was plush. I finally got the front installed and I agree with what you said, you feel it but it doesn't buck or jar like the stock did. Overall, a great suspension system!

    Thank for sharing Dave ! I recently got a 23 SGS and the suspension sucks compared to my old heritage. I'm gonna look into wilbers

    Another great video Dave. I put a full Wilbers suspension on my 21 Road Glide Special in fall of 2021. Love it. Best suspension I have had on a Harley and I have had the "other " name brands as well. I also love that fork tube holder. I use an old lower triple tree for a holder. One side for 49mm and one modified for 41mm.

    Tell ya the truth guys I had a 2009 FLTR I put Dirty Air suspension on the rear. I had a 2022 FLTR Special I put the full Wilbers set on , front and rear.
    I’ll stick to Dirty Air and only the rear suspension… LOVED IT

    Great video Dave on that suspension. I’ve heard about like you said, but glad you got to test it and confirm it for yourself because even though it’s pretty expensive, I heard definitely worth the money when you hit the bumps and divots while riding.. nothing worse when you’re back gets jolted on a big bump

    Great product review and nice install! You might wanna recheck the sag adjustment, according to your weight (rough guess), the preload is on the little side. Rear wheel needs to be off the ground (maybe not shown in the vid) for the base measurement and then with you on the bike (not your wife), it needs to sag 20mm. No bouncing around, as this will already activate the auto leveling and falsify the measurement. Enjoy the Wilbers, you will love it.

      Listen to Stefan… I’ve had my Wilber’s for a year now, used his video to install mine… road tested to Sturges 2023 from L.A. and to Loreto, Baja. Love them! @stefansgarage3014 good to hear from you... your friend - Toro 😉

      @@stefansgarage3014 in the video Dave reported that the front was 7/8” lower than stock. Is that normal?

    • @stefansgarage3014
      @stefansgarage3014 6 месяцев назад +4

      @@Mike_Oliver55 Sorry, I thought I answered that already, but it didn't make it. The Wilbers sags a bit more than Harley stock. It uses that sag to "fill" a hole in the surface by extending the front end into it. With the almost no sag stock suspension, the whole front end dives into the dip and needs to be captured and dampened. Does that make sense, it's hard to explain in English, without using my hands...

    I have legends and they have started leaking. I’m aware of the warranty how I think I’m ready for a different setup. Solo ride to work then double in the afternoons. So I’m sick of trying to chase that balance setting on my legends. I’m between RWD 2 and Wilbur’s. Any advice?

      So Far, i am enjoying the Wilbers suspention. Like I said, you still feel the bumps but i am not getting kicked off my seat when i hit big bumps. They do offer a comfotable ride .

    Is it better than ohlins?

    • @JDsCycleWorks
      @JDsCycleWorks  6 месяцев назад +2

      The Ohlins is designed for heavy performance use, the Wilbers is more of a plush ride set it kind of suspension in my opinion.

      Flyandride15 has given the answer to that question, he used to have the "L" brand. Good suspension, but the "W" is significantly better in the rear and auto leveling.
