I was sick since last Friday, Thought it was the flu. Tested Wednesday and confirmed COVID! It was painful up to day 6, but you'll get through, 2nd time and doesn't feel as bad as first. Tested yesterday (Friday) at home and it's negative. Just coughing and semi fatigue left. No headaches (worst part).
I had it twice the first time i was so close to going to the emergency room i was that ill i collapsed twice, after like day 5 i started coming around a little bit god help an older person with lung problems its virtually curtains for them, the second time i had it was not so bad
My husband and I took every precaution during the pandemic because I was a caretaker for my 93 year old father. Neither of us ever got it. But now…here at Christmas 2023 we are quarantined. We are both very sick. Doing better today, but for a couple days I felt like I was dying…a headache fit to split my skull, shivering chills, body aches! I urge everyone…even the lady who thinks it’s just a common cold…to take care, if not for yourself, then at least for those around you who could be compromised in some way.
Saw you post, same happened to me Christmas eve, do ya think maybe those mosquito droppers were dumping covid on us, so many people got it at the same time in my area.
I just got covid first time and I've been so sick. Fever lasted half day it's gone. Body aches lasted 2 days it gone. But congestion is bad, runny nose, dry cough, and sore throat got worse on day 4. I'll go pick up a humidifier today and Vicks cream. I can smell and taste. I've been eating soup, oranges, grapes, and strawberries. My nose gets plugged up so I sit up a lot at night. I've never been this sick in my life, it's day 4. Day 2 I really felt horrible. Really hate the congestion now. Hope yall don't ever get it. If you do, speedy recovery to you.
I figured out I got Covid when everything I ate started tasting like bleach 😳 and now I'm about 4 weeks in fever is Gone but everything smells weird the outside air smells like a chemical is in the air to me as well as My inside apartment some kind of weird chemical like smell it's everywhere I taste it in the soda in the food it's so strange and wierd the food and drink taste the same along with that chemical smell and taste
Covid-19 is no joke. I caught it a week ago and I would not wish this on my worst enemy any day. The coughing is awful. It’s making a comeback again. Let me update. I am still dealing with the nasty after effects of covid-19.( September 4th, 2024)
I've just tested positive too , but what is alarming is I went to the doctors 4 weeks back was not tested for covid even though they took me through to an iceolation room.? Sent me home 2 more weeks later I'm still poorly and I rang the doctor today did a test it's positive what did they even ask me to go down for ? When they say nothing they can do so now I'm worried if I've spread it to some one on way to the doctors , I've had all jabs got underlying chest problems and astmaha and I am really struggling with this 😪 hope you all get well soon
I finally got COVID. I woke up sick on New Year's Eve with a fever. After a month, I only have partial sense of taste and smell. That symptom is so weird.
@@pjdudomine4744I'm just now getting over the fever part but everything smells and tastes like some kind of chemical has been added to the air and food it's so strange
Loss of taste and smell is indicative of brain damage in the prefrontal cortex. There have been over 400,000 articles written about Covid. Don't believe me? You can read up on the brain and organ damage it does even after acute infection here: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/research/coronavirus/
if you test negative, retest in 48 hours, if its negative then come out of isolation but wear a mask around elderly or sick relatives 5 more days to be be safe
Nope, You can be contagious for over 10 days. There are people testing even 14 or more days and still contagious. The CDC just wanted people back in work and school for the economy. See letter from Delta CEO asking them to reduce isolation because it was cutting into his profits.
A coworker came into work Monday sick with what they thought was allergies. More than half the people in that hallway and the floor below had symptoms and half of staff were out sick

So it's like a strong flu, you'll probably be safe as long as you don't crash your car and the coroner says the cause of death was covid despite the obvious car crash.
Well… my daughter just tested positive. So there’s no way I’m quarantine Quarantining her. We (The family) just have to accept that we’re going to be sick and take it as it comes. Not one member of my family has ever had COVID. In honestly surprised that we’ve never caught it considering all the trips, and places we’ve gone since this all started. I go to the gym daily and never caught it, and honestly kind of thought I might be immune. Well, time to put my immune system to the test and see if I’m really the chosen one! LOL
It's one of the worst feelings, not like super painful, but because it repeats itself each day after you think you're feeling better. For atleast 5 consecutive days. It's more of annoyance then anything.
@@suhtangwong thanks for your concern. We handled it fairly well. The first day Hot is like a bus, but by the fourth day the major symptoms had subsided. All in all it wasn’t as bad as I had been lead to believe. I’m just glad my family is healthy and now that we’ve been through it once, we won’t be as scared of it going forward.
So you're going to allow her to infect others and possibly lead to someone's death, and most absolutely allow her to cause suffering to others. That's a great moral compass you have there. You are what we call a "bad person". www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/research/coronavirus/ And it IS as bad as you've been led to believe because you aren't out of it yet, and never will be. There's post acute illness, post viral and it stays in your body for months. You SHOULD be scared of it, and there's only 400,000 articles (that you won't read) that state the true nature of the virus, which is more like AIDS than a flu. The suffering has only just begun for you now that you've allowed it in. www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/research/coronavirus/

Wait until you get the post virial mystery illnesses that never go away, doctors will dismiss you and you get no treatment.
