I'm on day 6 with covid confirmed today. It's been painful, super fatigue, body aches, mucus, diarrhea, knife jabbing heachaches every couple seconds (thankfully it slowed down now) and very hard to sleep. Mornings are the worst, then gets better during the day, but by night time gets bad. Then next morning it repeats all over again. Would never wish this on my worst enemies. 🙏
I was really sick with Covid for three weeks this October. I do not take any medication so I asked my doctor to order me in-home oxygen, i ordered pulse ox, I drank a lot of fluids, and took other natural supplements. I think the best thing I did was get the in-home oxygen. It really helped me I’m 68 years old and was very very ill with Covid. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. I just started driving my car this past week. Thank you for the information.
I’m glad to hear you’re doing better. I’m dealing with Covid now, since December 18, with positive tests on December 20th and 23rd. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be getting better. I’m currently being treated for both pneumonia and bronchitis. Can I ask, why did you need in home oxygen?
Managed to dodge Covid for 2 1/2 years. I am fully vaccinated and have 2 boosters. Covid started 6 days ago with a bout of nausea/vomiting 🤢 Sore ribs, extreme fatigue, headache, light headed, sinus congestion, but no fever at all. I took Mucinex every 4 hours which helped alot. Eating and drinking healthy foods and getting lots of sleep. UPDATE: I hope everyone who responded in the comments is on the mend from Covid. It took some time but I recovered without going to the hospital. 🙏 Stay safe and take care of yourselves !
Yep. Dodged it for the same time. Just got it. Luckily my symptoms are incredibly mild however the loss of taste and smell gave me a panic attack for the first time in like 10 years. It came on so fast and was jarring. Even the air outside that I was breathing was just so bland. I can usually smell the grass and beautiful flowers. The water I drink somehow tastes bland lol. Everything else was luckily fine though it’s mostly just anxiety of having it that’s really made me shook. Hope you get help and get well!
The hardest part of COVID for me is being in isolation from my wife and 6 year-old. So far my symptoms are mild but my heart is breaking for their touch.
I rarely comment on videos, but I really wanted to let you know how thankful I am that you put this out. I have Covid-19 right now and couldn’t find a comprehensive informative until I came across yours. Especially during a time when your feeling under the weather, this guide is extremely helpful and it’s so kind of you to put that much care in creating it. You are helping a lot of people and should be very proud of yourself. Thank you so much!
I was on week 5 of recovering from double pneumonia and was starting to improve and go for little walks, then I suddenly started feeling worse than ever and lost my appetite. I talked to the GP on the phone and she asked me to go to the surgery to listen to my chest. I was then sent to a&e and was kept in overnight for fluids and to monitor my low blood pressure. They tested me for COVID and I was positive. I'm home now and now know that my husband has tested positive too although he doesn't have symptoms. The hardest thing is the loss of appetite as I have already lost 3kg with the pneumonia. The video was very helpful, thanks
This is summer 2024 as I am commenting... I caught COVID at my 90 year old mother's funeral. I am 60 years old and overweight. Fever, body aches, lost my sense of smell. VERY SICK for about 10 days. Headache like a hatchet 🪓 stuck in my skull!!! I thank you for your video.
I just caught mines last week, day 6 and it's still going. But thankfully the knife jabbering heachaches slowed down. That was the worst part. Hope we both heal asap 🙏
@@bamachic3084 PRAYERS 🙏 I also ended up going to the doctor about 3 weeks after testing positive. She took a chest X-ray which was clear but because my white blood count was high she prescribed an antibiotic. It is now August 31 and I am starting to go for walks outdoors. I am STILL tired and take a nap when I want.
I hope you’re doing better now. 😢 I got COVID on Friday last week. I honestly can say along with the other commenter that I would never wish this on anyone.
i honestly hate covid.. 3 years we avoided it. 3 years!! then my brother goes out with no masks and goes in busy places. i’m 14 years old and i’m only on day 2 and i honestly it’s almost impossible to go through with it. i’ve been homeschooled for the 3 years and that was to just avoid it as much as possible. i’ve got a ridiculously dry and sore throat with red tonsils, get dizzy and headaches when i stand up, no energy, migraines, constant chest feeling, can’t breathe deep without coughing, can’t talk without sand paper feeling and breath, brain fog, 36.8 temperature and a high heart rate. i’m fed up on day 2. i just wish people would care for eachother and take precautions…
@@SunnyUBC I’m sorry to hear that you’ve currently got it, it’s a horrible thing to have. I hope you recover quickly. I don’t understand how people think it’s gone? and the long term effect it can have is just sad.
@@nxtviperyt hey man, sorry to bare bad news but I had it for about 12 days and still felt off for a few days after testing negative. All bodies react differently and it depends on the mutation you have though. Hopefully yours will go quickly but very unlikely it will. If you can reschedule the interview, it’ll be safer and more beneficial for you and your interviewer. If not, best of luck for it! Hope covid sods off for you soon tho :)
This is the second time I’ve caught Covid. I’m fully vaccinated and boosted too. It’s just mild covid the second time. I started with haziness and sore throat, then a little dry cough and runny nose. No fever whatsoever. I’ve been drinking hot green tea with Lemon and honey constantly. Drinking water too! During the day my condition is normal like I’ve gotten better. Night time I always have stuffy nose and congestion, dry cough. I’m fighting this as best I can trust me. Covid sucks!
I'm doubly vaxxed and doubly boosted, a frontline worker and Covid only just found me. I'm on Day 6 and have a rather severe case as a result of having asthma. I've had all the typical symptoms, fever, sinus pain, chills, body aches, sore throat, persistant cough, no smell or taste, but it's the headache, fatigue, and back/lung pain that that is affecting me the most. And the isolation too,. ..I've managed to keep the other 3 people in my house testing negative, but it's hard being alone. Your video is a great help, thank you for sharing.
I hope you feel much better. I also tested positive yesterday. I'm too suffering with sinuses and it's terrible. This is my second time getting it every time I get it, it's my sinuses.
My partner tested positive today. I immediately gave your spreadsheet along with an oxymater and a thermometer to my partner. I prepared everything from vitamin D to oxymeter in advance just in case we got Covid, but your advice becomes even more valuable when the reality of Covid hit my family. My oxygen level is 99%, but my partner got 95%. It is very reassuring for caregivers to know the threshold when we need to go to a hospital. This video is not only helpful for a patient, but also caregivers. Thank you for your great advice!
@@AbrahamThePharmacist Hey I'm in America just got it pastvfew days but didn't sleep well last night and my hearts vesting faster like 120 to 133 with my fever yhr doc and pharmacy said this is normal. I have a heart defect small hole but never caused issues and I have bad anxiety disorder so I'm scared of the faster heart rate like I'm anxious with the fever and the cough which increases when I cough the pharmacist days its normal and happened to her. Having trouble sleeping which makes me feel.worse and more anxious faster heart beat please help should I call 911? I'm 39 for the record. How many days does it take to recover
I got the digestive symptoms. No respiratory symptoms, lost smell and taste. Fever 2 days. Still weak but improving daily. Will never blow off digestive symptoms again. No joke
I had 3 vaccines and still got it. Muscle and bone ache, headache, weakness, cough. Staying in bed. Literally, opened a window and felt easier to breathe. Have put extra pillow. Having soup and drinks with honey. Chills come when I stand up. Tickling in nose and chest. Thanks for all advices, especially about body position and breathing. Wish everyone easy recovery. My brother recommended garlic as well.
@Seth Rosen I didn’t test after 10 days.LF tests are based on antibodies, so you can test positive after a vaccine and after illness for a very long time, I would suggest.
I am a retired nurse practitioner in the US. I have despaired watching our government give out useless information on how to cope with Covid outpatient. Basically stay away from people until you turn blue, then report to the hospital so we can slap you on a ventilator to finish you off. This video is no nonsense and very practical. It starts off with reassuring the listener and giving us step by step guidance and the thumbnails allow us to skip to an area of concern. Thank you Doctor, You are in my prayers.
Your sources were your problem. Ventilator for patients with low oxygen levels and probably had chronic illness. Obesity, heart disease high blood pressure contributed to finishing them off not hospitals.
I'm covid positive and my ears really hurt. I geuss this is common symptom of Covid 19 ? I took the nasal steroid but it's not stopping the severe pain. Tylenol works but I'm worried about my liver. I know 3 grams is the total per day. Paxlovid may cause rebound symptoms ? Whoever made this virus really was arrogant.
Thank you! I needed to hear a medical professional tell me that we are treating our symptoms as best we can at home and when to seek help. You also helped my family realize that certain steps are necessary . 🙏🏽☺️
I am currently 6 days positive and the fatigue and head/body aches are by FAR my most bothersome symptoms. I have a cough, congestion, low grade fever as expected but I feel as if my body is made of lead and just getting to the bathroom and feeding my cat is utterly exhausting. I hope this improves significantly and quickly, this could not have happened at a worse time financially for me to be out of work😔
Please let your local Social Services office know if you need help with food, housing and energy. Don't be too proud when you need it. That's what it's there for. Hope you are well now.
THIS IS THE BEST! He covers all the basics and how to know WHEN to seek medical attention. Love the idea of using the spreadsheet to track times you take your temp/BP/medications and what the readings were. That is something the doctor will want to see as it plots your progress. Excellent job on this Video!
I just tested positive today. Fully vaccinated. My symptoms I guess are considered mild. First two days were sore throat, headache, chills, and warm temperatures but no fever. I feel like it is bouncing around in my chest, belly, and back. I literally feel it moving through my system. Has anyone experienced this?
A really great video Abraham, very, very informative indeed. Hubby and I had Covid in January 2020 and it was vile, I would never wish it on anyone! However, our daughter, her husband and children all had it 3 weeks ago and quickly recovered, even the 12 month old! Your loved ones must be so very proud of you, you’re so very thoughtful and that thoughtfulness is appreciated so very much by us all that subscribe to your channel. Bless you
I had 2 vaccines and 2 boosters and still got COVID I was able to avoid it for almost 2yrs, turned positive 3 days ago, exactly 3 days after I had my 2nd booster😭😭
Oh gosh currently with Covid right now but pretty much over all the it but still feel weak and keep getting hot and have a lingering cough …hope you feel better
@@LoveIsInTheHouse thank God I got over it after 6 days, had slight fever and stuffy nose. Developed severe cough but kept on drinking hot lemon tea and boiled fresh oregano leaves squeezed an drink the juice at least 2x a day better than any cough syrup and after a week totally gone. Praying for your fast recovery too. Thank u 🙏 Jesus
@@finacole8744 oh yeah I had the same thing with the fever and cough and a sore throat that felt like it was on fire so I made a ginger, lemon, honey and cinnamon stick concoction that really helped then I had to gargle with salt water it finally went away after 3 days.. this Covid stuff is awful stuff for sure but now I have a lingering head cold with a slight cough and head congestion.. but am getting better..
Hi, I tested + 5 days ago. Have worked in our Covid ICU since the beginning. Over 2 years, never caught it. Phizer vaccine I believe has helped. I'm 62 and diabetic. My Doctor prescribed Paxlovid, which seems to be doing its job. My symptoms started with a light sore throat, and mild malaise in the late afternoon, at work. Called in sick for the next day, and felt pretty horrible. achy all over, no fever. No headaches, but strong malaise. Stuffy nose, and weakness. Got tested on day 2, Very positive they said. Days 3 and 4, weak, tired. Congested, Never lost taste or smell, Today is day 5. I havent had any chest congestion, I feel considerably better, mostly just weak when up around the house, still some aches. Still slightly congested. I think I'm getting off easy, and feel blessed. Maybe the fact that even at 62, im pretty healthy except for the diabetes, I work full time still,, and when im not working im very active, on the go, maybe that has helped also. Thanks for the video. Hope everyone here is doing well and back to normal.
I tested positive for the very first time on Thursday evening 21st July 2022. I believe my symptoms started on Tuesday 19th July which involved a very small but noticeable scratchy throat right in the centre, not sore, just scratchy. Didn't think much of it and went to bed. Woke up on Wednesday 20th July, aches and pains all over my body and such a dizzy head. My body was sore from the shower. I continued on with my day and worked as I believed it may have just been a small virus I picked up or something, throughout the day i notcied i had a high temperature. Got home after work and headed straight to bed as I was exhausted. 12 hours of sleep and during that sleep I sweated so much, my pillow and duvets were soaking. Woke up on Thursday morning feeling a little better, less aches and pains, off to work and noticed I was just generally feeling bleh and really fatigued. I tested on Thursday evening and positive right away with such a thick strong line on the LFT. Have been isolating in the spare bedroom to try and prevent my partner catching it. I generally just felt very fatigued over the weekend and slept alot. Tuesday morning 26th July 2022 I'm still testing positive, evening though the line is so very faint, unfortunately, still a positive reading. Fingers crossed I'll be clear tomorrow. This has given me a lot more covid sense now, as I did get very complacent. I believe I contracted Covid from Glasgow Central Train Station as I was working in that property on Friday 15th July 2022. Hope all whom have contracted this make a speedy recovery 🙏.
I just tested positive today July 28, 2022. My son tested positive Tuesday July 26th. He’s a home health nurse and is very careful always wears a mask. My three younger children are having symptoms. I have a weakened immune system so I took all the vaccines and still got sick. I am so upset! I feel absolutely terrible. I have never felt anything like this before.
@@pigloveandhugs Sorry to hear you got to it Linda. I know when you have it, it literally feels like you will never recover. As the days go on, you'll have times when you're feeling better and then you'll feel rubbish. This will happen a few times throughout the day. But I guarantee you, it will end. That was me negative after 9 days and back to normal activities and feeling like myself again. Throughout the next few days you'll get so tried, doing the smallest of things and can even make you feel nausea. My recommendation is rest rest rest and sleep it off if you can. You'll improve soon don't worry. Anything else you need to know just ask :)
Covid positive 9 days ago. This video, accidentally came into view, is the best reassurance on coping/treating at home. Couldn’t get in to see doctor but went to a Nurse Practitioner. Doing well but this is a video done so well, Thank you! Subscribing!
First symptoms showed up two to three days ago. The first night was insane. I had a massive headache, threw up, and a fever. The second was more tolerable. I tested positive using two different at home tests. Today, I woke up feeling much better but still have this nasty cough and some flem. My doc says I should be over it in 5 to 7 days so I am hoping for that. Thanks for the great information, this was extremely helpful!
Thank you for your thoughtful work and the spread sheet. Just got a positive test result and was grateful for your insight and look forward to following your recommendations and a full recovery in God’s care and timing. May you be protected and blessed as you take care of your patients.
I caught it when I got back from Greece last week, it is now day 2 and I feel ok, symptoms are mild but still horrible! I’ve been drinking lots of water and green tea with Manuka honey. Thank you for these tips!
I recently tested + of COVID. I only had common cold as a symptoms I did not had any fever, muscle pain, loss of smell and taste as anybody would experience when they tested positive. I'm currently recovering will finish my isolation tomorrow. Completed my vaccines and 1 booster. Keep safe and healthy guys 😊
@@jasssyy__ after 5days I actually tested negative. A big factor maybe is that I always exercise early in the morning exposed on the sun as I am a competitive cyclist. Maybe my active lifestyle has helped me recover pretty quick
I started having the symptoms a day and half ago and this morning I will get the rapid test to see if I’m positive. It definitely feels like I have it. The sad thing is I just got into a car accident and this just makes my situation worse. The video has really helped me bring out my old healthcare provider instincts and go back to basics: monitoring vitals and look out for any change in condition. It’s 2:33 am and I’ve been awake since 11:40 due to my congested nose and discomfort making me unable to sleep. This video has helped significantly within the last 20 min I watched it. Thank you for this video and I will absolutely share it to anyone who needs it.
I have Covid now and I got it from a cruise. Been feeling horrible, went to doctor not knowing I had Covid and they gave me a steroid, antibiotic and cough medicine. Then a day later I tested positive. It’s been over a week and my head just feels so stuffed up. I’m so tired of being sick already. Thanks for the tips.
Your video is pragmatic, Abraham, Thank you! Monitoring and recording my vitals and other essential details at regular intervals, like a practitioner would do, and looking for" trends" helped me recognize my progress objectively. You placed me in the right frame of mind to handle my own at-home Covid recovery "journey" calmly. As I saw improvement, I became hopeful. Knowing the numbers of concern for BP, O2, pulse, temp., are in essence, truly vital. You taught me when to check again... "an hour later", and provided me much more invaluable info., and you definitely "took the stress out of not knowing what to do" at home. I am a double vaccinated, boosted retired teacher, here in the USA, aged 61, and on the road to recovery. Thank you again!
I can not find your link to the template in the comments. Only top comments or newest comments show up for me. Could you post it in a reply to me. Thanks so much!!! Your video is very helpful.
I'm grateful listening your very informative tips how to treat at home of mild covid symptoms. Following your advice to drinks lots fluids with lemon honey and I add ginger, my sore throat is gone. I take Tylenol and resting/sleeping with 45 degrees and it's really helps. Thank you. God bless. Stay safe and healthy 🙏
Tested positive yesterday. I feel awful but also lucky - I can walk, eat, drive dog to daycare - so I can only imagine how awful this is for many who have it worse. My only concern is the chest pain. Excellent video.
Thank you so much, Abraham. On Day 3 of my first bout with Covid and so far am thankful for what appears to be a mild case, so really appreciated the info, especially about not laying around all day if you don’t feel tired and to sit up straight and breathe!👍
I have avoided COVID all this time and finally got it after my daughter brought it home from school. We have gotten the two vaccines . I got body pains and extreme weakness the first two days then bad congestion and very mild cough. It’s been a week and I still feel fluish on n off and I just started having digestion issues. My youngest did better and has had a pesky cough for the past maybe 2 weeks but mild, no other symptoms. My other daughter had back pain and weakness like me the first couple days and has had a cough out of the three of us. I’m also the only one that lost taste and smell. we are going on 10 days and we are still feeling sick. So I couldn’t imagine 5 days only.
If you have bad congestion your taste and smell will be altered cause you cant breathe correctly. The way i figured out I can still taste is by blowing out my nose for it to clear for a minute then took a bite of something. When I did that I could taste everything.
I came down with Covid 2 weeks ago & it was terrible. The fatigue was off the charts. I have had 3 Covid shots & I wonder if I had not had the shots I probably would have died. Anyway, just wanted to leave a tip about if you are having trouble eating, I had a bag of banana popsicles in the freezer & eating & sucking on these popcicles was a life saver. It was the only food I could tolerate and they were very refreshing & helped alot with nausea also. I'm going to keep popcicles on hand they help so well. I had a 103.4 temperature & they also cooled me down. Hope that helps someone
@@sammie4695 Thanks. Thats exactly what I've been doing today. The icepack on the back of my neck definitely helped. I can tell tomorrow my dominant symptom is going tobe the sore throat. I just took a dose of Nyquil, and swallowing that stuff down was reminiscent of rubbing alcohol on an open cut. 😑 This virus definitely "lives up to the hype". Hopefully its all over soon.
If it helps here is my list to dos: 1- get multivitamins 2- get vitamin D 3- aspirin 4- some sort of hat. Trust me with this if you want those nose to be opened wear a hat that covers top head and your forehead. Thank me later! 5- clean nose with salt water 6- chew a few cloves 7- eat food with garlic and onions 8- drink oregano tea with honey 9- drink plenty of water I hope this helps someone
What's interesting is that my nose and throat has been really itchy along with very bad congestion. Also, I am experiencing ear pressure. And was weak for 2 days. I decided to test for Covid and was positive.
Thank you not only have covid but I'm. Fighting pancreatic cancer stage 4 and I'm. Taking a new cancer treatment To help my fellow man. And I actually feel quite optimistic not feeling to bad just tired allot slept alot
Day 4th here with CoVid. I too had the worse head cold/stuffiness - made me have pain in head, ears, face . Zyrtec actually helped me with all those symptoms.
I can't find anything about just getting a negative test faster. I don't care about symptoms because I feel fine, but I can't go back to school until I get a negative test.
I tested positive last night for the first time, but I've been really sick since Wednesday. My mother, who has end stage COPD, lives with me as I am her caretaker and I am terrified she's going to catch this. She's 73 and if she does, that's the end of her. On my end, this experience has been an entire roller coaster ride. Yesterday, I slept nearly 20 hours. I slept about 16 today. No fever today, no projectile vomiting either. Congestion on and off. I had 3 vaccines, so I'm hoping this eases up and goes away very, very soon. I'm mostly hoping that my mom doesn't catch this, I'm really scared for her. I've done everything in my power the last 2 and a half years to keep this away from her, I even worked through the shut down because I was 'essential' [factory worker, gag] and I didn't catch it. I'm really disappointed in myself that somehow, I let myself slip.
@Rolling Withthepunches Thank you very much. She did get it, and she needs to be in the hospital. She won't go though, she's very sick but she refuses to go to the hospital. I have a nurse coming out today to assess her and I am hoping she can be convinced to allow me to call 911 to take her. Thank you so much for your kind words.
@@pamelaboisvert8976 Thank you so much. My worst fear came true and she did catch it and she passed away from it last Sunday. I'm absolutely devastated.
@@mattmatical2235 Thank you so much. I really don't know how to live without her, I've taken care of her so long. The house is very quiet now. They told me she wasn't going to die, they were going to move her from the ICU on the 12th. I tested negative and went to the hospital and got to talk to her, she sounded great. I told her I'd come see her in the morning and bring her a Coke. Then at 1 am I got a call that her oxygen had dropped to 85% and they had to intubate her. On the 14th I had to make the decision to take her off of life support, and on the 18th she passed. Her covid turned into sepsis and went into her already really damaged lungs. I feel awful.
Same here, I've never been vaccinated and almost always wear a mask indoors. This is day 7, and the fever lasted almost 3 days. Now I'm dealing with congestion and a light cough as well as fatigue. Every day I've felt better. Thanks for your video. I'm definitely going to start sitting up more and doing the breathing exercises.
Thanks for this vid. I’m home on an oxygen mask after being in hsp with pnemonitis covid pneumonia and have been searching for ways to heal the breathlessness. I appreciated your video, gave some information that was helpful. Docs say I have to be patient to see if my lungs will lose the consolidation caused by covid. I remain positive that my lungs will be healed.
Medical professionals said that 5 day is enough to recuperate. My daughter is in her second week and she still positive. Thank god she had mild symptoms. I really don't know how tney can say that when everybody is different. Thanks for the information.
The best way to understand the myriad of advice about COVID-19 and it's flavors is to watch this video. I live in the US and found this very helpful. Well done.
What works better than salt water is Italian Salad Dressing! I had a very bad sore throat and as many others did, I used salt water, But I really couldn't gargle it for some reason. After trying for several days and barely eating, I was craving a salad of tomatoes, cucumber and onions drenched in Italian salad dressing. This seemed to really help, and I believe it's because of the oil sticking to my throat, which helps sooth a very dry sore throat. In case anyone is wondering what brand of Italian Dressing I used, it's Ken's. Unlike the warm salt water, try Italian Dressing instead. Make a salad or have a little cup of Italian Dressing to drink. My belief is it works better the salt water because it sticks to your throat to coat it, where the salt water will wear off in a couple of seconds. Italian Dressing, who knew? And it tastes better, too!
Tested positive the other day, had a fever of 40.2c and a terrible headache. Now got a mild fever and shortness of breath and I’m hoping I can get better soon so I can get back to work.
Just done my test today and tested positive. Was feeling awful last couple of days thanks so much for this video… to the point and hasn’t got medical jargon I don’t understand. Thank you ☺️
I got tested positive on the 6th and I have been very unwell! I haven’t been able to eat for 3 days Iv lost 8 pounds in weight, and I’m shivering and can’t keep warm, and I’m having extreme pains all over my body, including my jaw also I have a lump speared at the top of my mouth, but my partner had the same and he went to the doctors and she said he was fine and will be better by the weekend it’s been a week since then and he’s still ill aswell ☹️this is the worst we’ve felt in our life
Thanks from the U.S. I have had all the Moderna vaxxes, and my sypmtoms were so mild I almost didn't test. Being the first time I've felt any kind of cold symptoms since it all began, I tested with in home tests we reveived here, with a positive result. Day five, and I feel really good, but test still shows positive. I've been drinking, lots of hot tea with honey, lots of water, chicken noodle soup. We live right on Lake Erie, so I go outside, and sit in fresh air. My wife has not tested positive, and we're isolating as best we can.
Thank you for making this video. I'm traveling in Central America and caught covid on the flight. Trying to self isolate and get sufficient nutritious food is a nightmare. After 5 days my fever and the headache are gone, the cough is diminishing and the sore throat is much less painful. Staying cool involves using airco, which dries the air but I'm staying well hydrated by drinking at least 3 litres of water a day. I haven't felt so unwell since having dengue fever nearly 20 years ago. 😢
I continue to refer back to this video as my husband and I go through colds and viruses fully vaccinated and boosted and without testing positive for Covid. Thank you for this very helpful video.
Thanks for putting this video together. It was reassuring to read about ringing for an ambulance if you should faint which I did and a friend rang them. Can’t fault the care and thorough checks but felt I was wasting there time, which was wrong of me to feel that way after listening to this video. After the checks they slowly got me up on my feet monitoring my blood pressure so this video has been spot on. This is day five since testing positive and still feel quite weak which is hardly surprising due to lack of appetite. Hopefully that will improve because I’ve not really eaten much since Monday evening, 5 days ago. Just hoping I feel more up to doing the things I enjoy so trying to remain positive through the process of recovering.
of all the videos about the subject.............Yours is the best i've seen so far.........and I think your's will be very hard to beat...................GREAT JOB
THANK YOU, THANK YOU---We have been suffering for over a week now..Me severe,--- my wife is great at dealing with this horrible virus and helping me..I'm 81, retired Fireman (always healthy) but this has taken me down..I'm in California..We just did a 16 day cruise to Hawaii..I could see people getting ill on the ship..The ship was not equipped to deal with Covid..The cruise ships have opened up cruising TOO early..People will get sick and some will die..It is not worth it..
This video was THE BEST of all. You are so rational and professional! I am a very healthy and active (at least BEFORE the Pandemic situation) 72 years young woman. This was excellent for me, I am on the way to getting better with a new perspective and goals. Thank you so much for your help!
This is so very helpful! Up to date on vaccines. I am on the end of the first week of Covid and even though I am under the care of a physician, they were not very informative in terms of what to expect, and how to treat it at home. To know to sit upright, as opposed to laying down is a big deal. To know that an open window to promote airflow. None of this was mentioned. Thank you for this video. I think that noting your statistics is important. I wish I had done this sooner. I do know to hydrate from a fever which I’ve been doing. Didn’t know oxygen saturation was so important I have no way of monitoring that. Such good information. Thank you.
I was running, bicycling and swimming to increase my lung capacity after covid-19. However the fastest way to increase the lung capacity is swimming. You move all muscles. I had covid. I, had no symptoms whatsoever. Just stuffy nose. I drank hot fluids, hot soup, oom temperature water. After 9 days I went back to Citi-Med and got re-tested. Thankfully, I was negative. I,will continue to drink room temperature water.

Thank you for another great video. I tested positive this morning, after thinking it was a bad cold for the past 3 days. I have Fibromyalgia, so always have body aches etc anyway. Drinking a lot of water, taking paracetamol and ibuprofen to help me get through the day, honey, saline nasal rinses ….. Watching RUclips 😀. Hoping the symptoms ease soon.

@Olivia Williams Hi! Thank you lol! But i recovered! I never got a checkup but i had most of the covid symptoms (except for breathing, diarrhea, vomiting coughing snd nausea, i didnt have those symptoms) , so what my stepmom did was cold peppermint water (the peppermint is an essential oil btw) , and i drank alot of tumeric + saffron + wondertheworld tea and i immediately felt better after 3 days, my symptoms were mild :) but thank you! I will still save this number and share it with any of my known people incase they get it ^^
Very informative, thank you I’m on my day 7 now though much improved, am still having stuffy nose especially in the evening plus wet cough. Mucus and phlegm colour getting lighter/pale yellow. Having to breath through the mouth is so dehydrating and uncomfortable- can’t really sleep that well. Any remedies on this stuffiness please?
Currently riding the Rona train. Another helpful meds hint (i’m alternating between Advil and Tylenol): set yourself alarms to repeat for a few days in case you forget to reset them. I have named each alarm the exact medication I need to take. That way when it’s really late at night and I’m half asleep I don’t need to second guess.
Thanks for this helpful information and advise. I just tested positive today, Monday, August 7, 2023. You may have just saved my life. Wishing you well.
I got covid day before yesterday. I had severe muscle aches everywhere and fever. It’s day 3 today, I suffer from joint pains while sleeping, low temperature fever and sore throat. I am having difficulty in sleeping.
And thank you Doctor! The details you provide layered over the normal common sense stuff, and backed up with a wonderful heart to share and make a difference to your fellow passengers, is what makes your video truly brilliant. A BIGG gigantic thank you
I just got Covid yesterday. I took five out of the six shots and I was Covid free for four years. My symptoms are a mild cough and sneezing a fever. I’m taking packs of it right now for five days and I’m drinking 10 glasses of water a day and I’m plant face so I don’t eat meat, fish or dairy. I’m also taking ibuprofen and sink. I’m also going through perimenopause as well. I am wearing a mask when I go outside to take my guy dog out and I social distance I live alone.😊
Got covid for the first time a week ago. The coughing is just the worst. I can only breathe super shallowly, because if I try to breathe deeply, I start wheezing. I have infection asthma, which doesn't help with this. I can barely eat or drink, so I'm severely dehydrated, since I throw everything I eat or drink up. I'm not coughing blood, but when I cough, I can taste blood. I have no energy, but since I live alone, without electrical heating, I need to carry firewood inside from my barn and keep the fire going on.

I'm totally unvaccinated, and recovering nicely, at home, on day 4 of COVID infection. It was rough and I can't recall being sicker in my 67 yrs; but, I got through the hard part just fine. Today I feel human again. No Vaccine wanted or needed.
Our bodies are wonderfully made. Treat it right naturally, I've found it takes a lick'n but keeps on ticking. I'm 80. No vaccine. Just washing hands often masked, apple cider vinegar, black strap molasses, green tea lots of filtered water, rest, self quarantining, colloidal silver spray, honey hot water tea, often, foot reflexology, messaging my body, aroma th
I had an aha moment as I was seeing your video and wanted to share it - the body may be expelling the virus and it’s effects, through air and water - and beside the obvious organs (bodys doors of Pooh and urine), it uses its 5 sense organs (bodys windows :) to push out water and air in anyways technically possible to keep new virus/bacteria out and push virus/bacteria out of the body (I’m thinking watery eyes, running nose, wet cough, wax in ears, sweaty skin during fever). It also oscillates between heat and chills. I find the body amazing and when I realise what’s happening and why, it increases my tolerance and helps me accept the changes while my magical body does what it needs to do. By no way I’m referring to those folks that go through a lot of pain, I’m just so fascinated at understanding our amazing body in dealing with whatever it is - amazing things our way!
Glad I found this! I'm going to buy one of those oxygen things and follow your advice! I've made it all the way until now not catching Covid. I've masked in public indoor spaces since 2020 and went out once without one and here I am. I knew I'd get it sooner or later but thought I'd be safer this time of year. I've lost three family members to Covid and lost my last Christmas with my dad who had cancer and caught Covid on Christmas. He survived but had severe breathing problems after and died a few months later. My Dad was the main reason I was so careful but after experiencing this, I should take care of myself too. Covid is miserable, especially with having asthma. I wish people would think about other people and at least mask or stay home if they have symptoms. There are a lot of us with sick family or health conditions like asthma. I'm not sure why people have such an issue with masks.
My day 1 I was sweating buckets even though I was super cold couldn't sleep at all. Day 2 was head ache so strong I couldn't get up. Day 3 feels like the flu 🤧 roughly. Day 4 feels pressure on chest and blocked nose. Day 5 blocked nose oxygen level 99 goes down to about 96% but goes back up. Not sure how long this shit is gonna last honestly wtf bro I thought I was getting better😭😭😭

I was really sick with Covid for three weeks this October.

I am a retired nurse practitioner in the US. I have despaired watching our government give out useless information on how to cope with Covid outpatient. Basically stay away from people until you turn blue, then report to the hospital so we can slap you on a ventilator to finish you off.

I havent
had any chest congestion, I feel considerably better, mostly just weak when up around the house, still some aches.
Did you start paxlovid on day 1 or 5 of you feeling sick. Thanks

Thanks Jennifer, so glad you found the information helpful. Sending awesome vibes across the pond to the beautiful USA.

Thank you so much, Abraham. On Day 3 of my first bout with Covid and so far am thankful for what appears to be a mild case, so really appreciated the info, especially about not laying around all day if you don’t feel tired and to sit up straight and breathe!👍
Glad I could help and get well soon
How did you deal with the bad congestion?
If you have bad congestion your taste and smell will be altered cause you cant breathe correctly. The way i figured out I can still taste is by blowing out my nose for it to clear for a minute then took a bite of something. When I did that I could taste everything.
@@BloodyRosesx I took Sudafed honestly and breath through my mouth. It was really bad for about 4 days
How do you feel now Paola? How long did it last? How is your family?

I can't find anything about just getting a negative test faster. I don't care about symptoms because I feel fine, but I can't go back to school until I get a negative test.
did you find anything?
Wow I understand the letting down part .. I wish you both healthy recovery
@@pamelaboisvert8976 Thank you so much. My worst fear came true and she did catch it and she passed away from it last Sunday. I'm absolutely devastated.
@@elizabethmojica8995 I’m so sorry, Elizabeth. I’ll send a prayer your way. I’m thinking of you.🙏
@@mattmatical2235 Thank you so much.
After 3 years, I finally got covid 19. It was a good run while it lasted 😤💪🏻

Same. First timer here. The fever is the worst part for me. I am on Day 3 of feeling like crap.
I got Covid now. I feel so down. I suffer with depression. I don't feel well. Good video.

How long before you felt better?
Thank you for making this video. I'm traveling in Central America and caught covid on the flight. Trying to self isolate and get sufficient nutritious food is a nightmare. After 5 days my fever and the headache are gone, the cough is diminishing and the sore throat is much less painful. Staying cool involves using airco, which dries the air but I'm staying well hydrated by drinking at least 3 litres of water a day.
I haven't felt so unwell since having dengue fever nearly 20 years ago. 😢

Recovering from Covid pneumonia!!! Was hospitalized for a week!!! Spread sheet sounds helpful!!!!

This video was THE BEST of all. You are so rational and professional! I am a very healthy and active (at least BEFORE the Pandemic situation) 72 years young woman. This was excellent for me, I am on the way to getting better with a new perspective and goals. Thank you so much for your help!
Glad I could help :)
Thank you.
Glad I could help!
😢
We used the ArtemiC Rescue and ArtemiC Support combo, and it worked well for both short and long covid.
I was running, bicycling and swimming to increase my lung capacity after covid-19. However the fastest way to increase the lung capacity is swimming. You move all muscles. Because of that you need more oxygen. Your cells will do the best they can to add/or repair alveoli and areas in your lungs to improve the lung capacity to add more oxygen to your muscles
Thank you for reminding us to stay calm
