My brother likes to play asol and just yesterday I was laughing at this exact same thing. He flew with his huge Q across the map and didn't even kill the ranged minions
@@dracosspetentrio6016 yeah. He either needs damage scaling like veig, a faster q, or more damage on it. Really any of them could balance it out. His w doesn't do that much damage, his e has the cool down of a lux ult, and his ultimate also doesn't do much damage, and doesn't provide much in the way of cc. To put it simply, they kind of ruined his identity and didn't bother opting for a revert when the issues he had left next season. Can we agree we would rather have the old Aurelion back for the sacrifice of his roaming?
He always was good in roaming, which just begs the question, why do they even want to buff the only good aspect of him and not consider the weaker ones?
Riot won't care about Aurelion because he is not popular, they have shown that they are willing to fuck over a player base because of that. (Look at Aatrox rework)

He doesn't feel like Aatrox, he feels like Riven 2. "Oh you all shouldn't complain because when he got reworked, he was stronger" Ok, then you agree with the idea that the LeBlanc and Rengar players who complained about their changes were wrong. That those were on only a couple of abilites. Aatrox I reiterate, has nearly nothing remaining from his old identity. He went from a sustain tank/duelist, to an AD caster. His character went from an Insidious planing manipulator, whose main frame was "Battle is Elegance", who was framed by those he fought alongside with as a hero, only for those same people to eventually have the Glamor wear off, and realise the atrocous acts that they not only help him commit willingly, but praised him for, to a Kratos knockoff. Literally the antithesis of his character, yes they both still care about bloodshed and battle only, but their approaches are night and day. Did Aatrox need a rework because of his kit, sure, but in every other rework they have ever done they have sought fir to qt least try and maintain a semblance of the characters Identity. With Aatrox they failed categorically and undeniably.
@@chrischeng9145 Mate, I couldn't even tell you what his current w does. He spins balls around, and changes their radius, and sometimes presses a button that gets him to lane faster.

He was the ultimate solo queue champion for anyone that one tricked him though, even better than anyone else one tricking another champion.

When starting League, I immediately fell in love with ASol's playstyle. It was actually the only champion in the game that I felt truely resonated with me. I never found him clunky, at all. When his rework came, I tried others champions... Warwick and Jhin came pretty close to being my new mains but they never felt as... Home, as Aurelion Sol. His passive movement speed on E was super fun but I could live without it. His W rework, not so much. It sucked out all the ejoyment I had in the champion. Reverting that one change would be enough to make me come back, both in that champion, and in the game in general.

A-Sol’s Q tickles. His W not having the toggle ruins the point of the ability. His E is on too high a cooldown. His R tickles and is like a small af range weeniehut jr. version of Lux ult.
It's all a setup for the W tho, the Q gives you movement speed to engage and allows you to reposition mid fight, same for the R. I wouldn't mind both of those if the W felt good.

This change was my final straw for riot. He was one of my favorite champions to play and I lost so much enjoyment out of being that boop king in team fights. As the only Asol player in my friend group, he was always a threat when we did custom games to the point people had notepads with my league name and Asol written down. I was not amazing by any means but no one knew how to play against him and they resorted to panicked and forced playmaking which never worked well. Mastering him was incredibly rewarding. One day it just clicked. I really hope they revert the changes but I doubt they will. Thank you for an amazing video about a small community.
I love Aurelion Sol as a whole, from his lore to his looks to even what he was going to be before. When I finally picked him up and started maining him its was fun and something new, even though it did feel like i was doing nothing that is true, having a special connection to his design and personality really made me motivated to even play league in general, he legit was (at least for me) my reason to continue playing league. as the years went by and i saw him just getting shat on I couldn't literally play him anymore, I was losing game after game with him despite how many games i play with aurelion one after the other, and for now i guess that's where I'm at with him, he's just there, waiting for him to finally get that spark that makes him viable, viable enough to even match champions that counter him, because after all, mastering a champion comes in ways where even if something is deemed impossible, it would be possible. I always say aurelion being this powerful almost god-like being but now he's more of a meh usual generic dragon, and I'll be honest first time i saw his ultimate I was kinda surprised by how basic it was, but nonetheless it can go through yasuo walls so I'm okay with that xD. As a sol main, what i want to see is him being this roaming potential champion, that can ACTUALLY 1v1 champions and during the late game he'd become a aoe beast, and honestly, according to the lore, technically Aurelion is a creator rather than a god, a creator of starts and galaxies and such, so why not give him something similar to kai'sa, victor, and kha, he can evolve, make himself stronger as time goes by, just make the character feel fun and not like nay other champion with just point click abilities that deal more damage than a whole champion's kit. And please for the love of god, IF HIS Q IS BIGGER, IT DEALS MORE DAMAGE, not a massive amount to the point is broken BUT NOT A 100 DAMAGE LIKE BRUH.
I totally agree with you, he is a way to interesting champion to be so plane and boring with nothing special about it but his stars orbiting around him. Riot could do so much more with him and I did write some ideas under TBSkyens short take on Aurelion, so i will just quickly copy paste the small paragraph with my personal idea on how to change his ult here: To be honest, I am certain if they come up with good ideas, they might be able to resemble the godlike aspect of aurelion sol. For example, if they were to change him entirely (his kit, not his Lore or anything else) a neat idea would be an ultimate that let's him become untargetable and ascend into the skies. However, it would not just be him flying up to the sky and never be seen again, but actually him flying to you, the players camera, and taking it's place. The player himself as the summoner is somewhat a mighty being in the rift, controlling the champion and looking at the entirety of the rift and aurelion taking it's place, making it seem you are him in first person would give that fitting immersion of an almighty being. Now just throw in a voice line like "scooch over summoner" or "Were you really thinking you are the only one capable of looking down at others?" and you have an S tier resemblance of Aurelion. And yes, the Q should have damage scaling with size, no idea why no one at riot ever thought of including that in the game. And I also agree wit you on the idea of him being a one man army late game. He definitely has the lore-power of doing so and his resemblance in-game is nothing compared to his lore self. Maybe he should have some sort of avatar as his in-game resemblance to show that he is not the one being killed by a hamster with poison darts, but a 'weaker' image of himself to make it fair. If Jax can't have a real weapon, why can't aurelion have a real body?
@@georgesdragon8722 people do think about Q dmg scaling with size, but what about the base dmg of the Q once that buff comes in? They would have to nerf the Q in its small form to balance it, or else the dmg skyrockets for the Q too far. He would have a strong small Q and an even stronger Q when its big. And by any means, asols use the Q in its small form far more often than the big form. So it would be a nerf after all. And besides, the gameplay would be anything but interactive. If that idea would get into the game, you would only see asols tping back into fountain every 60 seconds and try to one shot people with their huge Galaxy throughout the mid/end game. Every 60 seconds backport, try to Q somewhere and fly, if it doesnt work go back to lane, waveclear, wait for E, rinse and repeat. That champ would be dead right on the spot. Besides in the late game aurelion with lot of items deals more than enough dmg with his Q. Considering its an AoE dmg spell that also Stuns the longer the Q flies. As for the idea with first person aurelion. Just why? That would not make aurelion more interesting but just weird. He is not supposed to make you feel like a god. Else malphite has to be as big as the whole summoners rift cause he is supposed to be a mountain and so on. Game design plays a role in this and long animations or anything don't have a space in such a quick paced game. Its like people wanting to see their full backport animation of their 30$ skin they bought, even though they have a baron recall that changes it to 4 seconds.
@@docrun3516 Yes, the nerfs to his Q's base damage would be necessary, but even then Aurelion could still be balanced if they shit his missing small Q damage to his W or his Passive. And even though his Q would deal a shit ton of damage, it would probably still not be used in the fashion you addressed, being used every 60 seconds non stop to get one huge Q off. Even now with a huge stun the big Q is never really used, exceptions being as a zoning tool for objectives when he is far away or as a way to roam to other lanes. And even then it is fairly easy to dodge as long as the enemy knows that they have a minimap. The Q damage on scale would also contribute to the fact that it gives clarity. If I see a huge galaxy flying towards me, I would try to avoid it of course, but if I get hit by it and take only 150 damage or so - yes with a huge stun but that doesn't make me get one shot by Asol anyways - I won't see it as such a huge threat anymore. And about the first person Asol: just why not? He is a character people get invested in because of his unusual looks and sassy voice lines and his ultimate doing something big would push that feel of a god. And yes, if his Lore says he is a god, he should feel like one. Pyke's is the probably best example: you are an insane psychopathic killer and every aspect about him feels like it. Especially his ultimate that let's you go in a killing rampage, the same way pyke would probably slaughter a bunch of people in a frenzy in bilgewater. And Malphite isn't a mountain because... well, because his design is literally 11 years old and has never gotten an update ever since. All of the newer champions fit in the lore rather well and most exceptions are champions that existed till season 1, because the lore was entirely different. And I never said the idea of the first person ultimate was a 10 second animation of sorts, I was imagining something like 1.5 seconds of ascending in the skies, then voice line and Aurelion's hands showing on the sides. The player can now do... Idk, cast one of 3 different celestial abilities with different utility purposes? And after 4 to 8 seconds he descends to the same location he has used the ultimate on, which makes him VERY vulnerable to enemies. My main point stays the same: Aurelion Sol is a far too interesting character to not be pushing his limits more.
Could we get a documentary regarding Swain and his fall from a top/mid battlemage that relies on damage over time with decent sustain to a support/ APC cheese that relies on burst trades and lack of sustain besides ult due to a series of changes from his rework?
Hard agree brother. The Season he got Reworked he became my most played Champion out of nowhere, he was SO fun playing Mid + Top as BattleMage and now he's exiled to Bot Lane even AFTER the Small Update they gave him to be better Mid, which still feels awful Mid. He became Flavor of the Month Mid, Riot patted themselves on the back and now he's Exiled Bot Lane again.
@@ferchemac180 lmaooooooooo His Top doesn't even pop up in Op.gg because it's Pick Rate is so low and Mid is lowest Pick Rate of his 3 Roles that are popular enough to pop up.
I rarely play Aurelion sol because it isnt a suptle "i won" after the level up. Getting Aurelion to level-up is just saying: Use (at least) 8 mana or give up now (suck 1 dmg and summon a spider + kill a unit). Karma in comparison just denies the enemy hard with some comps and if she survived about 3 rounds, you already summoned or cloned her at least twice.
Anyone watching this post April 2022 is probably crying even more than they were before, now there's been an announcement saying Aurelion is getting a total overhaul. Passive, Q, W, E & R. Quite literally the last thing staying the same, is his name, or so we hope. No one in the community asked for it, no one wants the space dragon to be deleted, yet riot is hell-bent on throwing the champ into the void
This is what I had to say on the Main-LoL sub, it had 2.2k upvotes before it got removed. It is a long text so be warned: I think it is about time we revert Aurelion Sol's W. If you go over to any main-champ subreddit, you see people complain about changes to their champ. But I yet have to see so many people who in a majority with many highly upvoted posts demand and agree with a champion change such as the ASol mains. Recently King Cobra asked on Twitter and the Asol subreddit how people identify Sol, either as a roaming champ with map pressure or a battlemage with consistent AoE damage in teamfights. With first glance you see that most people see him as a battlemage with mentioning that they specifically mean that they want his old W (the expanding stars) to be reverted. Cobra mentioned that they wanted to do changes to his E (the flying ability) where he gets more options for higher numbers and generally he wanted to focus on Sol's roaming aspect. People, despite hearing the idea, mostly mentioned that they just want the old W back. We know that it will not fix Sol's core issues, he will still have his release problems, but at least he will have his original intended playstyle back. That is the main goal. We just want the fun we fell in love with back. His core idea used to be a dancing dragon with roaming as a secondary. Source about Kobra here But he has a high winrate over 50%, what is the issue? The winrate argument has two issues here. First and foremost, the main reason Sol wins his games is by being basically a second supporter with roaming pressure. The only reason he wins is because he causes his carries to be fed with his help. Which makes us wonder, why buff his only strength and ignore all of his flaws? Second and most importantly, only highly dedicated OTP's play him. We are talking about people who dedicate every game to only, really only play Sol. This champ has his own minigame inside of a match. The less people play a champ, the less unskilled players use him, thus keeping the winrate high. His pick rate is according to u.gg less than 1% and there is only a handful of 1,593 matches recorded this season. The winrate does not change that the mini-rework destroyed a lot of his laning phase including the reduction of his passive damage. The old sol was able to compensate better a losing lane with just keeping his W up. It was not flawless, but it was an option. (Mini Edit:) Additionally, if you look at any popular champ such as Kai'Sa who was played over 340.000 times this patch alone has a winrate around 50%. Imagine how high the winrate of these popular champions would be if you would only see the OTP's and the best players play them, it would be way higher and we are talking about way higher than just 50%, maybe 60% or 70%? The idenitity crisis of Aurelion Sol: Originally, this champion was supposed to be basically a consistent dps mage (battlemage?). After the rework he was turned into a burst mage. The issue starts with the whole kit still being designed to set up your W. Why is this bad? Because his Q does minimal damage and is meant to be a stun only, his E is just him flying and his ultimate does less damage than a Xerath Q and is only a disengage (can be still be overwritten by dashes). Problem is, burst mages i.e. Annie, Veigar always have at least 2 high damage abilities and 1 very damaging ultimate. Sol only has his W for high damage. The next issue starts here. So to compensate, the W is super fast and has low cooldown where in the very end, the game fundamentally just tells us ''Use your W as much as possible, make it like it is permanent'' while at the same it says ''whoa there, your damage is too consistent, better stop now, buddy''. Which causes an issue you might have guessed, inconsistency. What do you wanna do when suddenly the newest hypermobile champions just dodge your W, wait it out and burst you in the 1-3 seconds of cooldown you have there? Either basic attacks, run away or nothing. Even a rylais combined with phase rush, cosmic drive and swiftness boots will not fix that core issue. Aurelion Sol is a burst mage while still acting like dps mage, which makes him just lacking in both in the end. The playstyle philsophy of his original kit was that of a dancing dragon (the alternative name for Chinese/Celestial Dragons). That was the true fun of his kit, was he still weak in lane? Yes. Were there still better options mid? Yes. But it is this very reason, that dancing playstyle, that people fell in love with him. As King Cobra himself somehow admitted what Asol was supposed to be with his question, he is a consistent AoE battlemage and will always try to act like it, no matter the number tweaking or E changes, the Champion himself will tend to behave like his original kit but worse. We have had more than one year to see if he is fun, which based on the conclusion I got from the Asol-mains, he lost a great portion of it. Is the champ useless? No. Does he lack damage? No. Was he more fun before? Yes. If Rengar can get his Q reverted, Zac his ultimate and Kog'Maw his W, then Aurelion Sol can have his own W back.
Ryzemains are here for you. To be the metaphorical child of Riot's abusive hand is an awful role, and unfortunately the stars that burned shortest are the stars that burned brightest.
He just feels less fun, after the changes. Power level irrelevant he's just LESS fun. They went right past minor tuning to mana/dmg and went straight to the garbage with the rework on this guy. Look at how they went about nerfing tahm kench to the ground, it was like 37 minor tuning nerfs over several patches. I think the minor tuning works better.
Coincidence you have a bastion pic since overwatch feels awful for this the past 4 years. My least favorite has to be how most of the healers feel nerfed to the point they cant defend themselves that well and should instead evade until their tank or dps deals with it.
@@skiedev I love bastion as a character in the game, I'm a tank and healer main XD, and I have seen all the mercy changes xD, and no tracers changes or ganji onces, This is the reason there is lack off healers and tank in overwatch, cause Blizzard only makes heros for dps players.
irony is that dopa (the dude complaining about asol) is probably the most hated person of riot and if he actually stood by this theory that asol would be perfect for boosting, he would play asol himself. dude is not a pro player but just a good booster and would probably do anything to make his job easier. pro players don't actually have a problem with him in most cases, because nobody really plays him in pro play anyways.
True, this is a problem in a lot of games, what is the point of caring about pro players balance opinion? They follow all the same path of "keeping everything like It was before so I dont need to relearn things"
You should do Varus next. This champion surprisingly has a lot of history and over the years with many changes his identity/character comes into question.
One of the reason I quit lol and started hating riot the company is the fact that they always wanted to manipulate the game in a way they wanted it to be, but how the player figured out to be. This is just an example of the issues happened throughout the life of lol. Riot is just the CCP in the gaming industry, a centralised and authoritarian entity that care nothing unless the problem would undermine their ability in making money. With lol being one of the largest online multiplayer game and the company's extension into other categories of gaming such as FPS, I fear a new era of computer gaming where the player is no longer the controller of the game they are playing on. But to have their skill level dependent on the willingness of the developer in buffing or nerfing a certain play style, or in this case, champs. If how good you are is not necessarily reflected by the skill but the ability to adopt, this is not gaming, this is evolution. But come on, we are not playing spore.
i believe it depend on tencent since they are the one who make decision. All riot can do is give out opinion and people who in charge will decide to do it or not and normally the measurement they used is ...money
@@theskywalker8416 If i remember correctly tencent doesn't have any impact on the game other than economy. I think Tencent-Riot Games relationship is similer to EA-Apex Legends.
@@FransizSefKurbaga exactly, they don't make game, they don't even know about runnng game, all they care is the number which is profit aka money. Look at the profit you make will tell how they are doing which is not wrong butin some case they don't know it is good or bad because its too complex
No that's wrong. They reworked him to make it easier to balance him (they thought). Old ASOL would always have a low WR due to his hard learning curve but be really really strong. He felt kinda clunky to play before 3 items but was annoying as hell (or nearly impossible) to play against. This meant his WR and playrate were low, but he was frustrating to play against and too strong for competitive. They reworked him for several reasons, as is always the case with these unique champions. They are way too strong because noone plays them resulting in a low winrate. But because of their strength they have no be nerfed (ASOL, Azir, Ryze, Swain, Diana, Vladimir, Zoe)
I feel like Sol's problem has been the synergy between his W and roam. Most roaming champions have good waveclear, but none in history of league had access to such a good waveclear like Sol's W(old). So I kinda understand riot's idea behind the rework, but it clearly failed. Ultimately the only solution to fix him would be one of the two: 1. Remove roaming and turn him into a scalling mage around his stars. 2. Remove waveclear and turn him into a roaming mage. But I don't see this happening with his old W, so reverting will be impossible.
Tbh, I would gladly take the 1st approach, like ye removing the roam would ruin his theme a bit, but in my mind a Space Dragon that created the universe fits so well with being an hyper carry that scales incredibly well.
he cannot be a roaming mage without waveclear. what are you talking about? the whole point of a roaming champion is to insta shove and roam so you can cheat the laning. and that is his iconic thing, he's the best roaming mage in the game aside of TF. we dont need Aurelion to be a scaling burst mage , there are wayy better mages that can fill this role better. his kit is just a mess, and i dont know if riot will take a look at him again
so Nunu can have both great roaming in the midlane (LEVEL 2 GANKS FROM MID NUNU ARE AIDS) and waveclear but god forbid Ao Sol be viable lmao what a joke rito games
As a Aurelion Sol main for the past 3 years all i can say is that season 11 is probably the worst one for him, literally every item is bad on him and he's losing to every matchup, in last season he had a really strong meta with electrocute and glp but now Sol is totally useless without any place in league, it's kinda sad to see that good concept with unique mechanics be thrown to the trash can by riot
I don't understand dopa's hate on the dragon. That's literally what a OTP is. "this guy has an absurd winrate on one champion but sucks on anything else" yeah that guys is a OTP. there are always OTP's in challenger Like 2 seasons ago there was a singed support OTP in challenger forever that ran smite, with a 60% ish winrate. I don't understand it. why bring out the hate like that on a champion with a 4% pickrate?
Seems like it makes playing TF specifically much harder and dopa plays a LOT of TF. Seems like a personal vendetta because maybe a sol just counters TF lmao
Yea, there are some champs that are designed to change the dynamic of the game. Fiora for instance, when played by a competent and experienced Fiora main, can completely lock down a lane, forcing several opponents to face her, because she is kitted to win 1v1s as the super duelist she is. That's another example of an elo boosting otp choice. Camille otps can also climb above what their overall top perfomance would allow. So even if I've never played A sol I'd be pissed if that actually was the reason for the changes.
No the issue was the design of the champ hes ability to push in waves as quickly as he could caused a situation where Asol didn't have to make a trade off usually a person who clears then roams has to take the risk of at least losing cs asol didn't lose anything so you had a situation where he could out farm out roam any other mid and the one mid who could out roam him he hard counters.
@@traviswhiting1290 assume hes talking about TF. But the point remains that champs like him and Qiyana are on riots short list of champs that arent really allowed to be strong because them being strong removes certain forms of high level skill expression (in this case the entirety of laning: csing, balancing cds and mana, trading, getting vision, etc.)
@@fillphd the joke was that he said that the champion is hard to play and since he showed Jankos, it's implied that he means Jankos has yet to master the champion.
This video braught me some solace. As an avid A-Sol main, this was comforting to know that at least a few hundred thousand people know about the desolation riot did to this champ.

Everyone ints with asol for the first few games, it's when you play him enough that you realize that all of his weaknesses and strengths are well defined before the rework.
What do you mean they ruined Ryze? I actually picked him up recently and I have found him a lot of fun to play. I've played this game for like a year now so, what was this ruination of Ryze?
@@darkienl5886 but for that you need to change his kit by a lot. Meaning either you give him more dmg early and less scaling (then you also need to lower his q range and increase e cooldown or he's an insane bully in soloq) or you give him back his old range and attack speed and make him a duelist with consistent dmg and shove potential but less roaming potential (higher mana cost on q and higher Cd on E). Neither of these changes would really get him into a much better spot, because the whole scaling kit with a lot of safety vs ganks and relatively high range makes him so strong for pro play and high elo

I was so sad when i wanted to pick up Asol and i found out he was reworked like a year ago. It still feels horrible to play that champ

@@chrischeng9145 Mate, I couldn't even tell you what his current w does. He spins balls around, and changes their radius, and sometimes presses a button that gets him to lane faster.
@@chrischeng9145 So instead of his stars doing 3 quick rotations of damage with each star hitting following by a speed boost, it was an ongoing ability that stays up and continuously consumes mana like Anivia’s ultimate. The stars revolved him slower though (shown in the video). This made it so he could easily push out the wave from as early as level 1 and roam, granted he didn’t get the ms boost, plus like Anivia’s ult it would be cancelled by hard CC and silences/interrupts. He was the ultimate solo queue champion for anyone that one tricked him though, even better than anyone else one tricking another champion.
I reckon he should also get a bit of Diana-esque treatment. Put the Q and E into one ability and make it his ult, put a smaller version of his R on Q, then add something new and spicy as his E.

I wouldn't mind both of those if the W felt good.

this would actually be a really good middle ground. have w give a burst of rotational speed to the orbs as the expand then slow to original as they reach full size, and have the CD start at like 5 sec (after it expanded and contracted) and at max level have it be a 1 sec toggle
@@ikxalenull7 or make him get more orbs later in the game like urf but nerfing the damage early in general or exclusively versus minions and making him start with 3 so he cant get that waveclear before lvl 5-6 where champs like tf or malz have a chance. I'm not an Aurelion main, but I'm so damn salty about his W not being a toggle anymore.
Riot could do so much more with him and I did write some ideas under TBSkyens short take on Aurelion, so i will just quickly copy paste the small paragraph with my personal idea on how to change his ult here:
To be honest, I am certain if they come up with good ideas, they might be able to resemble the godlike aspect of aurelion sol.
I saw an Sol once with 3 million points, and did not see any other Sol for many games after that. Was crazy, the mains do exist but it’s very rare

It is a long text so be warned:
I think it is about time we revert Aurelion Sol's W.
Source about Kobra here
But he has a high winrate over 50%, what is the issue?
The idenitity crisis of Aurelion Sol:
Originally, this champion was supposed to be basically a consistent dps mage (battlemage?).
I think the minor tuning works better.
i really mis the first time tahm kench had come out. that version was true fun
I really hate that pro play still plays tahm in his current state, without stack on Q he just isn't a champ.
This is a problem with all eSports
When a Pro crys, a Hero dies.
Coincidence you have a bastion pic since overwatch feels awful for this the past 4 years. My least favorite has to be how most of the healers feel nerfed to the point they cant defend themselves that well and should instead evade until their tank or dps deals with it.
Fuck the bastion changes man. He used to be so good in season 1. The rework absolutely killed his reach on turret mode.
@@skiedev I love bastion as a character in the game, I'm a tank and healer main XD, and I have seen all the mercy changes xD, and no tracers changes or ganji onces,
This is the reason there is lack off healers and tank in overwatch, cause Blizzard only makes heros for dps players.
irony is that dopa (the dude complaining about asol) is probably the most hated person of riot and if he actually stood by this theory that asol would be perfect for boosting, he would play asol himself. dude is not a pro player but just a good booster and would probably do anything to make his job easier. pro players don't actually have a problem with him in most cases, because nobody really plays him in pro play anyways.
True, this is a problem in a lot of games, what is the point of caring about pro players balance opinion?
They follow all the same path of "keeping everything like It was before so I dont need to relearn things"
You should do Varus next. This champion surprisingly has a lot of history and over the years with many changes his identity/character comes into question.

riot's biggest mistake on aurelion is changing his W. aurelion designed to Dps not Burst
But come on, we are not playing spore.
democratic centralism and ccp are based. sounds like riots goin far
i believe it depend on tencent since they are the one who make decision.
Im kinda confused why they didnt pull an Urgot and make the W a toggle after it is maxed.
They only reworked him to make him more attractive for other players, no other main wanted a change on his kit back in the days
they also failed in that since his playrate didnt raise in a meaningfull way. this entire rework was a failure
His play rate decreased lmao
Ultimately the only solution to fix him would be one of the two:
At worse to nerf his waveclear, make his w do reduced damage to minions
so Nunu can have both great roaming in the midlane (LEVEL 2 GANKS FROM MID NUNU ARE AIDS) and waveclear but god forbid Ao Sol be viable lmao what a joke rito games
Or he gets reverted and we stop pretending riot actually wants the game to be balanced lol
To quote skooch:
Some yasuo player: riot Aurelion came at me in lane
RIOT: nerf his movespeed NOW.

@@rorythompson5410 who is the one who out roams him? It seems to me his kit was pretty specifically built to make him the best roamer in the game.
Kog'Maw also got a revert. Remember when his w gave him 100% attack speed after the adc class update?
Also let him break the attack speed cap, damn I miss that shit

And Zac too!

@@richardvsetecka1519 only thing to do is rework him and slightly change his identity so he fits better in soloq and proplay
