- Persona 5 Royal's Secret Boss is generally considered the hardest boss fight in the game, many struggle to beat it at all. In this video, I attempt to beat it blindfolded.

My favorite persona challenge runner!
Couldn't you just turn off the Cursor Memory option in the config menu? That way persona skills would always start at the top and you wouldn't have messed up the bless attack with Kasumi
Edit: Same thing with Morgana when you said you have no idea which skill you're at.
Surprisingly forgot that was an option. That would've been quite helpful in the beginning but I got used to the positions quick regardless
Yeah was thinking this lol
I've been waiting for this!
46:30 HAHA, I was hoping for that Ice Age reference! Loved that Devil Fruit scene!
i really loved this video, is sad how close you got and failed but i believe ya can do it!
this guy deserves more subs. great video!
Awesome videos! Happy I found your channel
This editing was amazing and so was this video. Good luck if you try this again because I’d be done after try 2 😭😭😭
Some tips that I haven't seen anyone else mention:
Firstly, Lavenza's first phase has a hidden resistance to almighty, so she doesn't take much damage from myriad truths. She takes the most damage from the opposite of whatever she just used. For example, after she uses fire, hit her with ice
Secondly, it might have been better to have the ring of greed instead of high energy, since it's far cheaper. you'd have to make sure you actually target joker, but that should be manageable, especially with cursor memory off
Thirdly, I also used Akechi when I fought Lavenza for the first time, mostly for the debilitate, but I ended up using an accessory to give him Miracle Punch so he can actually crit. I also used Morgana instead of Ann, for Salvation and Miracle Punch/Rush. Don't know if that's the best strategy, but it's worth a shot
not bad I used, ann, akechi, sumire, then switched akechi for haru for the technical and crit
Absolutely mental to do something like this. What a level of insanity, good video
the first lavenza incident occured on my birthday? idk whether to be honored or scared but youre my new fav youtuber
"why did i want to do this?"
Screen: cbt just ain't enough anymore😔
If that one guy was able to beat Demi-Feind in SMT-V without demons then I’m pretty confident that you can overcome this challenge.
the goat returns :)
I haven't had this much fun watching a video in a long time. Im waiting for part 2. Dropped a follow on here and twitch. I hope that Persona blindfolded challenge continue in the future, you are very funny and your memes/editing is on point.
Im kinda a newbie on Persona (i just finished my first play on Vanilla persona 5) but im looking forward for seeing more of these challenges.
1 way you could have made it so Joker wouldn't be dizzy for Myriad Truths would be Itemizing Raoul for an Insta Heal charm, which means that if you get hit with an ailment it would be gone immediately after.
Also using Izanagi in the start could have been changed to elemental skills because during first phase she actually has a secret resistance to Almighty
This was so much fun to watch. Although sucks you sacrificed your sanity for us lol.
The goat memory section was crazy omg
12:08 lets what now? What do you wanna do with me? Sorry the ears aint working properly rn
HE IS BACK BOYS!!!!!!!!!
According to the fusion calculator Leviatinn can’t crit
It does have high accuracy at least (if i recall 98% accuracy)
sumire hard carry. god why were haru and morgana so squishy on the third attempt dying left and right
The king of Persona 5 returns
I don’t wanna impede on your strategy but here was mine.
My team was Sumire, Haru and Makoto. Sumire mainly for brave step and Swords dance obviously. Haru for one shot kill which has a crazy high crit rate. Makoto was mainly used for healing and Checkmate which served as a secondary debilitate. As for jokers personas, it was pretty much exactly what you used.
Also I’d recommend keeping Debilitate on Izanagi.
For a true challenge fight nyx in base P3 with party control off
The most confusing part of this whole thing is Myriad Truths dealing so little damage
Lavenza has a hidden almighty resist I'm pretty sure
Damn, now i want to go back to playing persona and try this one by myself...
I have an idea, make sure that item memory is on and go into a random fight, move down to Soma, select, deselect, and then run. This will guarantee that you will use a Soma if you decide to try and use an item
Part 2 waiting room
I feel like Yusuke should’ve came in instead of Morgana because Brave Blade does so much damage if it crits. It’s also the 2nd strongest (Non-DLC) Attack you can get
43:42 Is it just me or did the singer sound like a goose for a sec
Just so you know, you fought Lavenza on my birthday ingame. (2/2)
How's my mans still alive 😤
Part 2 when
Joker, you missed?!
43:24 OH GOD i'm dying hahaha
if you listen to what they say or the sound they make i think it would help with the run a little more
Let’s gooo
oh no
I'm so sorry bro
23:41 im still wondering why she would say this while going to sleep in the middle of a fight her dreams most be good if it's fun to go to sleep
Mad respect
31:03 shoulda waited for Ryuji or Yusuke (I forgor who you put in) but yk
I think I might try this on merciless with some set ups.
do it without dlc. bascilly paying to win I did it 2nd attempt no dlc
@@elvisboafo9917 I always do this fight without dlc. I like the base Royal persona’s
Pt2 when? Nah but seriously you’re a really cool ytber and you deserve a sub. Keep up the hard work my guy
Edit: nvm he sadly gave up even though he was SO close..!
Part 2 is coming
Will be my next *major* video and then Vanilla vs Royal and Randomizer
Now do blind Elizabeth/Theo
i think u got far enough in the fight that u can say u basically beat her blindfolded 😭
Part 2 happening or nah?
Yes but on the backburner until I finish a different project
Now beat Nyx blindfolded
He could’ve gotten away with just using concentrate instead of high energy due to him only really using it for joker.
Concentrate can only be used on the person casting it. So I had to use High Energy for Ann to be able to concentrate Joker
@@Screenments shows you how much I know about this game even though I’ve been playing it since release
Not sure why you didn’t level your characters or personas more before the fight (unless that stuff doesn’t matter. I’m not super knowledgeable about the game)
Figured it'd be fun to do it on my first new game+ save where previous me had everything set up this way
Ah. Makes sense
bahahah the 20hp
Please release part 2 :(
Soon, editing it has been a bitch lol but it'll come eventually
@@Screenments Can't wait
@@Screenments soo....
Your first attempt resulted in about 3500 damage
But can you do it with turned off monitor?
I mean... she can beat you while shes blindfolded yknow... just look at her tainted isaac runs
2 0 h p
I mean just get kaguya then it’s an ez
bring a
reflect persona
This challenge barely seems like a challenge at all, with it being in a turn based game and with all the audio cues this game has i don't know how one could fail
RNG, mostly. While I wouldn't say that this fight is *insanely* difficult blindfolded, which is evident by Screenments almost beating it on his third try with a sub-optimal setup, all Lavenza's phases (except the last one) still require you to perfectly execute a very specific set of actions with an everpresent threat of something going horribly wrong, like being inflicted with a status ailment, running out of MP or failing to land a critical hit. The main challenge, then, comes not just from memorizing what you need to do in what order and learning how to navigate the UI, but also from having to be able to adapt on the spot when your plan inevitably breaks down. Just restarting the battle is not really an option, so you have to deal with it as best as you can.
Also, on the topic of audio cues: it's true that they can be very useful, but when there are three or four of them happening at the same time or in a very quick succession good luck deciphering what any of them actually mean. And, no, just because *you* can always perfectly tell them apart doesn't mean that everybody else can as well.
@@leatherfasesin7717 Yeah, the fight is not difficult. It's just RNG. Especially since InO is used. And still, you can just plop Insta-Heal to negate those ailments.
And Futaba can most of the time catch you up on what's happening, unless she's saying scipted stuff.
It would take some time just to memorize stuff tho.
