@@xxakiraxx3954 Neither are mandatory in _Royal_ (Shiki-Ouji is replaced with Kurama accompanied by Koppa duo, while Arahabaki is completely optional).

@@Aerie1405 He’s the second best party member for physical attacks so charge suits him. Especially given that he learns some good multi-hit physical attacks, which are always gonna be amazing.
Guns are considered physical attacks since they can be amped by charge

Guns are also Physical attacks. They’re part of the Physical attack category. Elemental attacks are part of the Magic category. In other words, this isn’t a “Physical attacks only” run, it’s a “Strike attacks only” run.

I always send Morgana. If you send Ann, he’ll usually notice, so keeping her in front of him is a better tactical decision.
Ryuji can be noticed, maybe less likely but in reality it's dependent on the damage done to Kamoshida
@@garfieldlovr3704 From what i know, as long as you get enough damage, its gurrente, compared to ann, which actually cant steal it, and morgona being 50/50 or something

I always only took out dlc personas once I was able to fuse them so basically same rule as here, it's ridiculous that you can take out a level 85 raoul as soon as you get full access to the velvet room

I feel like the Kamoshida fight would've been more manageable if you had the Crystal of Lust (which I'm pretty sure you know gives you Diarama *really* early) Maybe it would've freed up enough turns to make it possible to steal the crown...?
The miniboss guarding the third seed is pretty easy with a Dormina strategy if you cast it before he even gets to act, too.

I came back to this video to remind that you can still play the dice game in saes palace, just save and reload every time you lose
Fusing Slime would have been better for the Kamoshida boss fight since he not only resists physical attacks, but has Tarunda, an attack decrease moving since support skills are allowed.
I used this on my first Hard playthrough, which I am doing now (and am approaching Kaneshiro's Palace as of writing this comment), and it made Kamoshida hit like a wet noodle on Joker.
For Madarame, Ryuji at level 17 learns Rampage, which would have made the painting phase easier so you only have to manage the attacks from the mouth while waiting for the black paint prompt. Attack buff w/Joker (Berith) on Ryuji and let him loose.
It's weird seeing the title cards for the palaces and expecting their themes, and then hearing some random song. I didn't expect the mementos theme on the Kamoshida palace title section 😂
I haven't watched yet, but doesn't one of the bosses drain physical?

A little late to help but Obariyon is immune to physical attacks making Kamoshida super easy since all his regular attacks are physical. Edit: Also the Jazz club teaches Charge to any party member at one point. Yusuke with charge just makes this challenge a freebie.

@@rawrdino7046 I only know of Swift Strike because it ruins Ryuji. I don’t know of any other moves, just look at a fusion calc and it should list all the skills.

Shiki ouji was the persona I used for almost every fight besides okumura and sai because he is only weak to nuke and it was so easy to beat this figjt
Had no idea you could throw black paint over Madarame tbh, granted he was normally easy enough to just kill with elemental attacks anyway soo..

edit 2: i just finished the kaneshiro boss fight and you're right that was so easy. maybe next time dlc personas should be banned lol. i'm allowing gun in my run so that i can get past the rangdas, and so far it's a lot of fun doing this run haha. a lot of times i feel like this run sucks and it's painful, but after kaneshiro i feel really great

Real Answer: Yes if you consider items but if you consider items then you are still breaking the rules of 'ONLY physical' thus it will still be a NO.
EDIT: Wait, I don't have Royal or know much about it, is Shiki-Ouji just like, not a thing you have to fight as a mini-boss in that version??? I'm pretty sure he just skipped over it, and without items you can't kill it with only physical attacks.

@@mikey5656 Yeah, he's a mid-boss AND a strong enemy in normal. You MUST fight him as a miniboss at some point, but later on if you get a wrong painting or something then he can spawn, and he's also in the treasure room.

Aren't guns physical? There's physical and magical attacks and from my understanding physical are melee and gun and magical is everything else. But getting caught up in technicalities doesn't matter here, you clearly meant melee only as physical.

A Physical attribute. It uses HP, not MP, so it's not magic.

The wiki lists Physical as both an attack type separate from Gun AND one of the two categories of attack damage, those being your Magic skills and Physical (Phys and Gun) Skills. Both forms of Physical damage even Tech. on the same things, the only different being that Gun can't transfer Shock status to the attacker. It's the equivalent of Atk vs. Sp.Atk in Pokemon. Gun is a form of Physical damage.
