Did the ds18 6x9 mount in like factory or was it some modifications needed due to the magnet being bigger than factory

The once in the back they fit perfectly no problem. But the front ones were little different do to the magnet and the window power. I had to do a little modification so the can fit. Since the magnet is still pig they won’t sit perfectly so they going to stick out a little.
Once you add the door panel you won’t tell but just know they won’t fit perfectly do to the door magnet being two big.
I haven’t had no problems at all and they sound loud.

Capacitors dont do anything unfortunately. Need an AGM battery or High Output alternator

Yes since I added a capacitor the only thing is doing is taking space 😅 it don’t help at all so at this moment I’m looking in a better battery like ( yellow top or lithium battery) I’ve heard there good for sound system and definitely bigger alternator. Stock ones are 150. Looking in to a 350.

Yeah man. Look at the Down4Sound LTO (lithium) batts. They are very small and light and can work with stock alt

I can say around 2,000 man just on my sound system including installation.
There’s a lot of different sound systems you can purchase and much cheaper.
Just the doors speak I got were 96$ each one and I got all 4 of them.
