Hello from Canada. I'm a sumi-e teacher and have been experimenting with various papers with minimal success. It wasn't until I found your video and used some inkjet paper. I knew they were not using rice paper but rather a paper that is calendared. Do you happen to know what the black paper is that they are using in these videos? Thanks so much for sharing.
Hi there, I just asked the same question, did you manage to find out what sort of black paper is used? Maybe it's a synthetic paper used for alcohol inks
Hi there, I was wondering what sort of black paper I need if I want to use white ink. I see some of the Japanese videos use black paper, I haven't been able to find black inkjet paper, any advice as to a suitable black paper would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your videos :)
