Hello, Anna! It is better to use thick paper of at least 160 g / m2. Here I paint with gouache, I dilute the paints with water. If your acrylics are too thick, they can also be thinned with water. There are special thinners for acrylic paints. Some people prefer to use them. The paint should be liqed enough for the brush to glide over the surface of the paper.

You have to look at the circumstances. Sometimes the paint is heavily clogged between the pile, which makes it difficult to glide the brush. If you feel that the brush stroke is getting ugly, unmanageable, then it is better to wash the brush. And then load up the paint on the brush.

Конечо, можно и акрилом, и темперой. Акрил лучше тянется, и не всякий акрил удобен. Я пробовала "Ладогу", вообще неудачно для техники двойного мазка. На гуаши проще и дешевле учиться.
