Key cutting machine

So I managed to save this old machine before it went to tool heaven. This is a pretty chilled video, and quite a change of pace to my normal videos. Hopefully you still enjoyed it! As mentioned, not really a restoration, mostly a little clean up. Besides, who hasn't ever wanted to try cutting a key!?

You really messed up now!!!! I'm going to 3D print your house key, fly to Australia, some how find out where you live, rent a truck, hire a goon, break in to your home and then steal your desk that has to be taken apart and carried by two people, then fly back to Texas with the desk some how. All jokes aside that was a nice restoration, you never know this might be the key to your success.

By the way you need to change your house lock now. You just gave everyone here an in depth look at your biting and I could, if I wanted, cut the exact same key, or even 3D print/CAS one easily. Seriously, CHANGE YOUR LOCKS NOW!!!

Can I ask why you chose spray lube instead of compressed air for cleaning? Is it just that you didn't have easy access to it or something else? Just seems like it would be easier to spray out some of those bolt holes.

GrandHunterMan RP7 also acts as a rust preventative, and helps with removing grime ☺ I don't have an air trigger/blower attachment for my compressor unfortunately!
