Absolutely love how passionate Christian Faber still is when it comes to Bionicle, Hero Factory, and the other lego themes he helped bring to life. When you go back I'd love to hear his thoughts on the Yesterday Questers, about where he could have seen that story going/ending along with what his depiction of them would be (possibly in sketch form…). Seems especially on topic with the YQ Bio Fanon contests running and prizes he contributed. I know the story was spearheaded by Greg Farshtey, but having Faber’s input would be amazing. Also after dropping that twist about Hero Factory building villains I wonder if it was supposed to tie in with the villain behind Brain Attack. Two stories cut short that deserve something of an ending beyond speculation.
Seeing Mr Faber nerd out over his creations reminds me of my grandpa seeing his engineering patents revisited when I found them online. The excitement of a passionate creator (including DuckBricks) recalling their inventions is great inspiration to get out there and make something of your own

And since it's Maki, there's a chance that the bamboo disk inside is actually Huki's -- because love is canon (I'm not kidding, some Make polybags came with the Kaukai bamboo disk, while some erroneously came with a Kakama bamboo disk)

Your videos are just so insane. You got to meet one of the persons that shaped your childhood and your lego fandom. I am planning a trip to Denmark and would love to go to the Lego factory. I just hope you pass us fans love for him onto him when you meet him again, because he’s been so impactful on us all. He’s above George Lucas or any movie director we’ve ever loved. Christian is a man above all, and we do love him. Man is what he helped create is just so important and formative to us. He’s really help mold the future, somthing so many wants to do, but really he only could do and has done. He’s a cut above all, imo. The man’s a legend who was able to pass himself off to us ♥️
God damn, it’s so easy to love Christian Faber, he’s so cool and nice, and I’d bet he’s happy so sign anything as he gets older, knowing he’s been around and important to late 90’s-2000’s Lego. He seems so cool, I bet meeting him is like talking to Mata Nui himself. His passion and love for what he’s done outmatches anyone from Lego. I just love the guy for my childhood, even tho I’m almost an old man myself.
I pray to god almighty I can meet him one day even though I know it’s impossible. Christian faber is my lord and savor, sorry for the blasphemy lol 🙏

Such a surreal experience! I went to Copenhagen in 2023 a couple of months after the BIONICLE GWP came out and I loved being in the city where the concept for BIONICLE was created. But I didn’t go out with the co-creator on 3 occasions! That’s just absolutely insane and fantastic. I did see him across the street though near Tivoli and got to film in the LEGO Store he filmed in and I found that awesome enough. I just can’t imagine being given a tour of LEGO locations and going to a store with the person that designed 90% of everything inside!
