i just came back from the post office with my new grease gun... i'm 'janey' homeowner, live alone in the middle of nowhere and do all m own maintenance, but the problem i have is little hands. i just don't have the strength to use a grease gun with one hand, even the little one, especially when the weather is cold and the grease is thicker. it's not a cheap item, but what pushed me to finally buy it was trying to grease ball joints and such... some nitwit at Ford decided to save 17 cents and not put zerks on grease point, so i need a needle to go through the boot...and you need one hand to hold the needle in place, the needle opening is tiny and the grease is thick - just couldn't do it.... for my purposes, i'm hoping it will last a long time, since it's not in constant use. but great review - watched another where the guy tried to put the grease tube in the wrong way, rather than unscrewing the tube from the machine... apparently didn't RTFM.
I wish I had this when my old job wanted me to grease the truck *once a week. (*did not happen due to laying in gravel/salty snow in -20°c. More like once a month.) Worked another job where trucks got greased at 20,000km or more and steering/brake components never wore out
Guess i should have stepped up. Dewalt sent me a replacement motor without a hassle.Twenty minutes to replace motor and it been flawless since. Many thanks to dewalt. Will be adding more cordless 20v tools to my collection. My Makita buddy likes the dewalt stuff more and more every time he uses mine.
Technically you're not ever supposed to push the rod inside of the grease gun that's what gets grease all over your rod and all over everything else and you will never know how much grease you have left in your tube unless you leave your Rod out and let it work itself in as you're greasing
Its definitely more for a mechanic or a i industrial environment. I cant imagine dragging that thing around on a roof doing a PM. Way to big. Best for a mechanic market.
There are a lot of videos on RUclips about this tool, but yours is the best and covered all of my questions. Thanks so much!

I put a lock n lube trigger tip on mine for easy install and uninstall on the grease zerks
I would like to see it used on something more heavy duty such as pushing out the idler on a 20t digger track!
Just got done tightening D8 tracks did great
It does on a D9 So that should be no problem
I saw your Ryobi grease gun review... looked like it was pumping grease stronger.. thanxs for the review.
Would be nice to see a tool duel milwaukee grease gun vs DeWalt
I just got the exact same one my buddy said they work really good going to find out tomorrow

Trz I am glad you used the dewalt grease gun to stop trz from coming to your house lol
Haha, that trz is a real pain in the butt Richard
Great video!
I just brought this. It's funny, the store said they haven't sold one of these in the past 4 years.
Batteries probably no good then
Can you load BULK grease into this thing? (without the tube?)
Thanks for your review
I have the same grease gun is it brushed or brushless
To be honest I dont really remember bro. Usually they stamp Brushless all over the tool if it is
@@ToolReviewZone I think its brushed because at the back you can see the spark
Yeah it probably is. Can see it going though very many though
@@ToolReviewZone true
You wized through the most important part of the bleeder valve. That's where most of the problems occur.😊
Have Milwaukee M12 and don’t like it always have to prime it.

What?😅😂

Agreed gm. I think that's what they were aiming for
Another application is a industrial type factory or process equipment where the bearings are greased on a schedule
You're absolutely right I use these working on aircraft
Are you from Pittsburgh? I sense a little
Yinzer in that accent
Hahaha definitely some yinger. Moved to Ohio from the Pitt area about 9 years ago. Great ear brotha 👌
Will a 2amp dewalt battery run this ?
Yep
Have one at work and I hate it, other plant has a Milwaukee. Gotta say I like the Milwaukee a lot better.
Thanks for the feedback Cody
Cody, can you tell us why?
I have both..dewalt by far more popular here
@kimwalker108 the biggest reason is it primes much faster and easier than the dewalt

Your mouth wasn't moving while you were talking to the scary guy

It's not as loud as the video makes it sound.
Said actually about 75 times in 7 minutes. Nice tool though.
Actually, it was 76
Actually I counted and it was actually only eight times.
Funny stuff.
