I used one of these, that belonged to a shop, on multiple heavy equipment two years in a row and, it really got a workout plus others were using it all the time. This performed perfectly always and I never had the battery run out on me, I have no complaints whatsoever with this powered grease gun. I just got a good deal on a DeWalt with lithium battery and bought my own.
The sometimes sad reality is that most people will buy the tool for which they already have the batteries unless it isn't relevant. This makes good sense. I have a number of DeWalt tools and batteries so that pretty much makes the choice for me. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah the batteries are so expensive that I now have about 4 Milwaukee batteries and only buy the tool now without the battery to same a buck. Thanks for watching!
I'm looking for a battery operated grease great video ,you made up my mind on my next grease gun
Thanks for watching!
i do not like the Dewalt gun, Milwaukee all day
The option to set how many pumps it does on the Milwaukee is a deal maker for me, even though I already have dewalt 20v stuff. Great review and you sold that Milwaukee
Yeah that’s how I feel cause sometimes I am on the phone not paying attention and tend to over Greece. Thanks for watching
@@DirtBrute 👍
Had my Milwaukee for years and love it.
Have them both , like my Milwaukee a lot more, 2 speed alone is big for me , only down side and only reason I bought the dewalt was for the case , Milwaukee needs to come out with a case , brining mine in the log truck I wanted a case
I totally agree. Yeah the case is nice .
Just buy a tub
I swear about my good old pistol grip pump manual grease gun never have a problem
Yeah I find myself using mine a lot too
🔥🔥🔥 THIS WAS GREAT STEVE!!! Just place an order for the Milwaukee grade gun kit
@@DigginLife21 I used mine this morning first thing to Grease the 315
The Milwaukee does out perform the Dewalt I’ve already seen slot of test, but both are great guns
Thank you for the information I tend to lean to Milwaukee but wanted to see the difference so thanks
I have to admit….you had me laughing with your statement “it just always seems to be dirty”….then mentioning it several times….im with you I don’t want to be covered it grease all the time. I guess I’ll buy the Milwaukee. Great job man
A useful video Steve and you've probably kicked up a shit storm amonst those who care. I enjoy all your videos and the way you say things how they are. Keep safe.
Thank you and thanks for watching!
I have the Dewalt because I have their 1/2" drill and 1/2" impact gun. You're 100% correct on your review of the Dewalt. I like it though, sure beats an old hand pumper, gets greasing done much faster and gets you working sooner.
I’ll choose the Makita that you reviewed.
Lol it was a Milwaukee. Thanks for watching
Can some one please help me i just got my milwaukee like 4 or 5 months ago and im trying to grease my chipper but the guns not pushing enough power or something when i first got it it was pushing super strong
Did is it in high or low ?
@Dirt Brute Steve I've tried it in 1speee and 2 speed it's just pushing out super super low like now power at all but the thing is the motor sounds fine
@@arianvakili8964 I’m not sure Mabe a problem with the grease or something in the line
I like the molly grease for loader pins and bushings but I found out it sucks in flange bearings on my combine, it drys out and gets hard and the bearings won't take grease. Probably be fine on bearings that get used more often than a few weeks a year.
Yeah makes sense for sure . Thanks for watching
Moly grease is primarily for shock loads. That being said, it's cheaper by the pail than red grease, so I use it on my 5th wheel.
I dropped my dewalt in the lake 3 times and it still works. Then almost on the exact same day, both my Milwaukee and dewalt started intermittently pumping. Face palm. I prefer the trigger on dewalt, pressure varies rpm… Milwaukee is all or nothing. Measured pumps and dual speed is cool if that’s what you need from Milwaukee. Both last forever on a full battery. But for me, dewalt is a little more compact (apples to apples) and is heartier.
I found the Dewalt takes up more room in the truck or machine. I like to keep my eye on the floor. Thanks for watching!
The biggest problem with electric grease guns is I sure go through a lot more grease. But I know things are way better greased and grease is cheap compared to equipment. I went with Milwaukee also just cause I have tons of chargers and batteries. I should have bought one years ago. Thanks
Yeah very true . I’d rather spend the money on grease then pins and bushings
I abused my Dewalt for years. I think it finally quit working. Looking at replacing and found your video. One question. How do you keep your guns so clean? Do you wipe them down and if so, what do you use. Thanks.
I clean them with brake cleaner and shop rags then let them dry before using them . I do not spray in the motor area.
after watching this, i wish i had the milwaukee altho i can use my dewalt batteries on my other tools. you made some great points and i will get myself a milwaukee when i grow up. i also have the same complaints with the dewalt that you pointed out.however, enjoyed the video....thumbs up !!
Yeah exactly if you already have the batteries it makes sense to stick with that brand. The batteries and the charger in some cases are more expensive than the tool. Thanks for watching!
I believe there are conversion kits available to use your batteries on a Milwaukee. Check out: ruclips.net/user/shortsFQWj_hqC93g
Great information and video! Thanks for sharing
I Can’t be brand loyal on grease guns, all depends on your battery platform. Grease gun is a grease gun unlike a hammer drill or impact driver that have different pros and cons.
Batteries can be used on other brands, check out: ruclips.net/user/shortsFQWj_hqC93g
I have found the molly grease is good for blocking your grease nipples.
I don’t use the Molly anymore. I went back to red and tacky. I I used it for years and then when I switched grease seems like my machine started wearing faster so I went back.
I just got the milwaukee 2646-21ct I have not used it yet after watching your video I think I have what I need to grease with I truly hate to grease I hope this makes it cleaner for me but it has to be done. One guy made a comment that he uses 1 tube of grease on his mini excavator every time he greases I have a new e26 bobcat I got in may of this year and I have180 hours on it and only used 1 and a half tubs so far and I do grease it ever 10 hours I pump till I see new grease am I missing something I do want to take care of it and don't want the pins and bushing wearing out prematurely I never had a excavator before so let me know if I am not giving it enough grease thanks
@@mrscuba1693 every 10 hrs is fine . I grease my bucket pins every day and sometimes twice a day if dirt gets in there Or if it rains out just to push the water and dirt out . Also if it’s real hot out and the grease is turning to oil and dripping out . Keep in mind A e26 is going to take way less grease then a big machine. I’d say you are fine with what your doing
@@DirtBrute thank you for your time
I have a dewalt like others who have other dewalt tools. Haven't had any issues with it except what grease you use....certain grease types don't work well in my experience.
Makes sense!
I got a DeWalt for free. Soo i guess im going with DeWalt.
Yeah you what they say ,” if it’s free it’s for me” 😂. Thanks for watching!
Milwaukee the best💪💫
Milwaukee it is then!
I have a Makita grease gun for my Komatsu :)
I’ll have to add one of those to my collection😂
I have the DeWalt gun. The only thing I don't like about it is the nozzle. I'm going to change it out for the Lock N Lube nozzle because it's easier to get on and off the grease fitting. I've owned it for about 3 years now I think and use it to grease at least 1 machine every day. So far it has been great and trouble free. Good info.
Thanks for watching!
Zero complaints with my Milwaukee
Same here !
Dewalt
All about the same except for Makita BUT Makita is made in Japan & can be purchased for lesser price. Others made in China .
"I can't hold small things....henh henh henh....shut up."
HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Funny as balls!!! 🤣
Milwaukee speed 1 has up to 10000 psi
I love the Milwaukee. Haven’t touched the Dewalt since filming this video.
Whew I almost bought the Dewalt until I seen this video, glad I went red!
Get the makita blows away the others had my makita for a year now and my dewalt gathers dust
I see where John Deere has a 20V battery grease gun with display that shows battery charge left, amount of grease pumped out each time and how much grease is left in cartridge. It's just under $500 at this time. I figure others will (or already) have similar soon.
Sounds cool ! I’m sure the others are on it now
I want to ask you something I'm can you tell me please is your surname brut b r u t please reply
This channel name is Dirtbrute Steve . Not my real name .
@@DirtBruteok thanks
I am looking for the people with the sername brute that's all thank you from the uk
I got the Milwaukee version, mostly because I have all the batteries already and Dewalt batteries don't seem to last as long. I guess you could call me a Milwaukee fanboy....lol
My only complaint is their loading instructions could be better.
I’m turning into a Milwaukee fanboy lately myself 😂
What’s the outta song name?
I don’t know
Ben using a Dewalt 4 years now on my combine wish it had a counter for the amount for grease needed on the straw walkers can't see the front bearings thinking about a Ridgid grease gun . What do u guys think
I love the Milwaukee.
Nice video. I think the cordless lincoln is better.
Nice little pet I just found your video because im looking to buy a grease gun i grease my truck and trailer weekly so im looking to go electric
I’ve only been using the Milwaukee since making this video and I love it !thanks for watching!
I have had them all , tried a half the price Ryobi smokes them all . I know you’re thinking he doesn’t grease often but I do , I am in the logging business and grease daily 2/3 tubes .
I’ll have to try one 👍
630A Alemlube from Australia
Thank you!!!! I wasn't sure wish one to get now I know what I buying, I liked your video :)
Thanks for watching!
Thank u. I have Milwaukee cordless tool and all the batteries. I was looking at dewalt as well but you have made my mind up for me and I'm going with Milwaukee.
Thank u
Yeah I’ve been switching everything over to Milwaukee lately.
Thank you for sharing! I have a Dewalt, it is awesome so far!
Surprised you didn’t get a makita so it would match your equipment
😂😂
Greatly appreciate the video.
I see this video, started off with a bang😁.. ended with one too😉
🤣
Just found your channel today, first thing I thought was... this guy starts his day with a Bang like me let's see what he's gotta say. Good video good info and for the sake of the comments section i run Milwaukee tools already and have been planning on one of their grease guns have run both with the company I'm with and selectable pumps is nice
Yeah I love the Milwaukee line of tools . Thanks for watching!
@@DirtBrute I've only run the 1"impact(which is awesome) and am looking into getting the 1/2"high torque impact and grease gun combo if my wife didn't get it for Xmas. Take care and keep on working brother👍
@@jonschwarz8207 yeah my Milwaukee collection is growing steadily 😂. Have a good one !
Metabo out now
I do like Metabo equipment. I have a grinder and a nail gun mad by them . So far that Milwaukee has been flawless .
nice video keep them up.
When is the next in "the house" talk video being aired, the first two were very good.
Soon I hope 🤞. Thanks for watching I wasn’t sure if people liked the talking videos!
Hi, greetings from the UK, I work for a rental plant machine for the construction industry and I wanted to buy a grease gun for my crane. You gave very good pointers there. One thing I would have done with the Milwaukee is to put magnetic pads on the bottom so it could really stick to metal.
Good idea
YEA
I agree with you 💯 percent I have the milwaukee
Yeah I recorded this video 2 years ago and I’ve been using it almost every day since with no problems! Thanks for watching!
Makita grease gun smokes both of those! I had those and this blows them both out of the water!
Your the second person that’s said that ! Now I gotta get one to try 🤔. Thanks for watching!
I have a milwaukee, best money I ever spent
👍👍 I love mine
Bauer
I'm team red
Dewalt always air bound as well!
I don’t use the Dewalt anymore .
Another difference is the Milwaukee has a 48" hose, whereas Dewalt is only 42". This was the deciding factor when I made my purchase back in 2015. Oh, BTW, great video!
Thanks for watching!
Dewalt for me because all my other tools are black and yellow but I use a whole tube of grease with it every time I grease my bobcat or mini excavator lol
So DeWalt needs to make you one with the pump counter😂
Yeah really lol grease is cheaper then pins and bushings I like the thick and tacky red not see the grease u are talking about where u get it at
@@jameshampton5228 I’ve be getting it from my local auto parts store !
You can get an adapter to use your Dewalt batteries on a Milwaukee. Here: ruclips.net/user/shortsFQWj_hqC93g
how do you use a whole tube of grease on the mini excavator per time you grease it ? I got a new bobcat e26 this past may I now have 180 hours on it and do a grease ever 10 hours and pump till I see new grease and just a tube and a half If you know something I don't please let me know as I do want to take good care of it. I do not hire out it is for my personal use and want the pins and bushing to last a long time
Neither. Makita.
Interesting 🤔. Everyone is saying that . I’m going to have to try one now . Thanks for watching!
@@DirtBrute most definitely. The auto speed feature is a game changer.
Auto-Speed mode applies grease while varying the flow rate automatically matching the resistance of the part being greased
@@blairtubechannel oh nice 👍
#dirtperfect lol!😂😂
Dose he not like Electric grease guns ?
@@DirtBrute the red headed stepchild Grease gun. Lol he hasn't had much luck with that brand.
@@LIFEISHARDSTUPID oh lol 😂.
