Ditch the frame sliders if the r7 is going to be a track bike. In a crash they can actullay promote tumbling as they can dig into the ground. They aren't made to break away like, say, your rear set pegs. It's best to let it slide, Let the plastics and case covers take the beating and pray.
Keep up the videos.
That’s what I figured, thanks bro!
Thanks man for the video!
Love these r7 videos the bike is beautiful!!❤
Thank you! Much appreciated
Great job as always mate...
Sliders are one of those things you want on, but hope you never have to use... :D
Thanks Phil, so true lol
Thanks for sharing!
Nice Video. Woodcraft made these very simple to install. I know frame sliders are mainly for tip overs. They help a little bit on slow speed drops. I think the water pump and case covers help a lot more for slides. Either way, better to replace them instead of fairing or repairing clutch cover. Nice job!
Thanks man, I appreciate the feedback. I still need to grab the water pump too cheers!
Excellent video!! Love your new rear sliders. When I wanted total frame protection, I put on a crash cage. 👍😊
Haha a crash cage would be perfect!
@@ScoutsOut although cumbersome when wearing certain boots, it’s about the only way to protect your frame. 😭😂😊
Haha I bet
Great video Scout, it protects the bike and can prevent expensive repairs. But of course you hope you'll never need it. Have you been on a trail with your e-bike yet? Have a great Sunday and ride on mate🤙
Thanks ck, yea man I hope I don’t need them lol
Yea I have been able to ride it once now and it’s awesome, the only thing that sucks is I can put it in the car like I could with my old bike so it’s harder to get around. I’m working on a set up so I can get out more as all trails for me a good drive from me
Nice video , thank's 😁
Thanks bro
After having your full system on the R7 did you get it remapped? I got a full akrapovic carbon system on my mt-07 and jus wondering if it will need a remap to the exhaust as smell abit of fuel so running a bit rich
No I still haven’t put a map on it. Technically I did install the FTECU so that I can adjust air fuel but I have only put the unrestricted tune on it which only changes the engine braking and when the fans turn on. I will be getting a tune at some point and it will make the bike run much better but imo it isn’t hurting the bike
