Eeeyyy!! Very nice content, Im also a motovlogger with my R7 from Philippines. I always watch your content for intallations and track riding its very knowledgeable. Im 100% your subcriber. Much love and support Bro!
Installed mine today, thanks for the installations vid explaining everything it was fairly easy and seems to work well, need to test it hard and on the track still Only thing I must say, the steering stop is such a big change, you really need to get used to it! caught me surprised while doing a U-turn and almost dropped it
Nice dude glad it worked out, I hear ya on the loss of steering. Takes a while to get used to but talking with the graves guys they say it’s a requirement to reduce steering in certain race series as it’s safer just not great for street use
I had a GPR and could adjust on the fly, I found for hwy I had it stiff like for pot holes road crap and a lot on 1 handed riding and for the track and twistys i made it easier on the adjustments. I'll be interested where you feel the adjustment feels good to you. Crazy that reduces the steering range that much wow, not like the track you need it but.for parking lot town riding. The GPR was like a 10 min install. 🤙
Yea dude, it would be cool to adjust it on the fly but will see how it goes out on the track. I’ve taken all the fairing off and the race bodywork is now on it so it won’t be seeing the streets anymore. I might try the gpr on the 4rr though
i ordered a gpr stabilizer and so it may be different obviously but with the steering loss does that make it so you can no longer put the bike in the locked position because I thought the steering has to be all the way to one side in order to do that.
Yea sadly you cannot lock it anymore. It seems the graves is the best option for track riding, the loss in steering is a benefit for track and in some race organizations a must have for safety as it heavily reduces the tank slapper. For the street and keeping your bike as stock as possible the gpr is a better option
Well congrats on the new bike! Yea it will help a little but really you will get used to the winds. I know exactly what you mean, where I leave it he evenings it gets insanely windy blowing the bike all over the place but I got used to it just takes time
As of now my r7 is slightly faster, I need to really test the steering damper on the track to say if the bike at least makes me feel more in control, as for the handling I still feel the zx4rr I feel more confident on it but on the other hand I’m still doing much better track times on the r7
Great video Scout, that looks like a fantastic damper and it looks like it paid off. Thanks for sharing and have a great Sunday mate✌
Tha ks ck yea it’s worth it imo!
That sound and those downshifts 🤌🤤
I know right, man this thing sounds good
What exhaust is that? 😮
Yoshimura r77
Great little round up as usual Scout...
And looking forward to the weight shaving series... :D
Thanks Phil, man it’s going to drop some serious weight without ABS

@@ScoutsOut sick!!! Can’t wait to see it!
Great video bro! Are you using an insta 360? And where do have it mounted? Amazing views on your riding videos 🤟
Thank you!, I have an insta 360 just don’t use it that much. This was done on the hero 12 with the new max lens mod.
Great video! Will this system work with the 2024 R7??
Thank you! yes it will

Must be some ohlins suspension upgrades incoming?, radiator guard? Race bike build? 😂
lol yea lots of fun stuff to install
I just got my first r7 today 2024 I love it
Hey yea, that’s exciting man. Congrats on the new bike!
@@ScoutsOut thanks man!
Sweet - mine should arrive next month.
Nice dude!
I see you letting go ov the throttle
After a tune is the engine breaking not as bad?
the tune i did didn't add any fuel or make it go faster but it did remove alot of engine braking which was awesome so yes!
@@ScoutsOut appreciate the response I was hoping that was the answer
are you still able to lock the triple tree with the reduced steering angle?
Sorry took so long, I just went out and tested it and no I’m the steering lock won’t work with this setup
Amaaazzing sound. Can you tell me what exahust are you using? Sounds different than Yoshimura or SCP
Thanks man, it’s just the r77 Yoshimura
@@ScoutsOut woah. Tysm
Hey man, my r7 is brand new with 500 miles on it. It feels wobbly on Highway especially in winds. Does damper helps with it? Thanks 😊
Well congrats on the new bike! Yea it will help a little but really you will get used to the winds. I know exactly what you mean, where I leave it he evenings it gets insanely windy blowing the bike all over the place but I got used to it just takes time
love r7 but i dont knkow wha tbike i want, stuck between 4 or 5 bikes
Good problem to have bro, what bikes are you looking at?
@@ScoutsOut im gonna go small first, beginner bike, probably a grom or a r3. but alwyas wanted a gsxr 600 or zx6r
Smart choice! You will learn so much more and still have a blast on the smaller bikes working your way up
steering damper on a what? 70HP bike?
Alrighty then
you do you man.
🤷♀
That is the plan, happy new year
@@ScoutsOutjust got a gpr for mine! Now with all this on R7, how would you compare it to zx4rr overall in terms of speed/handling?
