I’ve got an 08 Silverado and I’ve put on the same headlights. Spyder makes matching taillights too, they’re the “C shape” style ones like on the latest GMCs. Looks really updated with the light upgrade 👍
Loving your videos! Just bought an '07 Silverado!! Just replaced my tail lights and cargo lights with Spyder Black LED Tail Lights! Might have to complement them with this set of headlights!

I have a rough Country build on my 2011 Silverado and the trucks red with the bumpers and running boards black . I seen these black head lights today and they come with the matching tail lights . Can’t wait to get these on my truck they are awesome . Nice video

Just bought mine a week ago and on there now and they look amazing on my 2500HD. Black and brown thanks you! Switch out the enitre truck bulds to LEDs and wow what a difference.

Sergio Flex5 awesome thanks for replying back!! I’m trying to look for some head lights for my ‘08 Silverado but they say the lighting from the low beam is terrible. After installing LEDs how was the lighting? What were your steps on installing them?
@@martinchavez2490 The lighting did suck with the holgen h1 bulbs. That's why I went with 65w or *Pure White L.E.D...
For the most part like it say in the video having to tap in the wires to make the DRLs run. I went to Advance Auto to go buy some taps and of course undo your grill you know that. It was pretty easy. Umm I leaving one big thing out i had to notch out the radiator frame to fit the L.E.D fan. But all and all the work took me about 30 mins removing the old head lights and putting all new aftermarket parts. Plus I went with 20k lumens for fog lights so it was Stupid bright with all 6 lights running lows highs and fog. Look up BOOST AUTO PARTS...and you can do the same thing to get all 6 running.

I have an 7 Silverado! It's the classic body though, so they had switched to your body style but kept the cat eye model and named it the classic. About to be a new bed on it, nothing like wet paint

I’ve read a lot of comments on amazon of the headlights and tail lights that are on your truck because I was looking into getting them, and a handful of people were saying they experience water getting in them. Do you have any problem with that ?
Can you add led low beams to the headlights. I have them in my factory headlamps now and look brighter than the projectors in the spyders

nice! was it brown wires on both sides (passenger and driver)? , also on our trucks when you switch the truck into gear the headlight automatically comes on, did you disengage that?
I have the same rims on my 14 tundra! Your truck looks awesome bro. I also have spyder headlights and about to add led bulbs on them. How do you like the stock bulbs? Are you planning to put led or hids?
I replaced my headlamps on my 2009 GMC recently. My truck only has 2 bolts at the top and 1 on the side. This sucks that you had to remove the grill to get to that 4th bolt. Those clamps are hard to remove without breaking the plastic tabs. Glad I didn't buy a Chevrolet. In the end, the headlamps turned out to look fantastic on this truck.
Is there a way to have those amber bulbs off while the drl is on? So if you have your lights set to auto on the dash do the led bars go out once the headlights come on?

I've watch 3 or 4 videos more than once before attempting this install. Everything seemed to work except the Halo and LEDs do not come on as DRLs. The come on when I turn the lights on but not as DRL. Any advice?
I just got my headlights in the mail!! But does the daytime running lights turn off when the headlights come on? Do you have to turn the headlights on manually? The factory headlights I have now, I can’t turn off the daytime running lights.. Im just kind of confused and want to make sure my headlights will turn on when I install these new headlights. You should make them blink amber when turning and then switch back to white
Wire the DRLs to a fuse (add a fuse) that only gets power with ignition, no need to do anything, just like factory.

how do they look at night? i had a pair of projectors and my regular headlights were brighter than my brights.
Can u show us how you spliced the led? Is there a quick connect you made so u can separate the housing
Next should get a 2013 LTZ grill it has the split in the middle that would follow the lines of the day time running lights .Then just color match it to your pain and you’d be ready to go

Durning the daylight in park and running parking lights are on, once I put truck in drive parking lights go out, there for LED bar goes out, only low beams on. Any advice?

So I bought the Angel eye version of these lights. I wired them directly to the Truck wiring Harness. I took the White positive wire, and tapped into the brown wire with the white stripe going down the middle of it. I did the same on the opposite side. The halos Come on automatically with My DRLs. Did I wire them incorrectly? I know they say wire them into your parking lights, but doesn’t that mean that you would just be able to turn on your halos, and not your low beams along with your Halos? Did I wire mine wrong? I have the same color truck 2008 Blue silverado 1500. 6” BDS lift. 35”Nitto ridge grappler Tires. 20x10 Moto metal wheels. Smoked Tail lights, smoked 3rd Brake light. Smoked Spyder Projector CCFL Headlights.
i didnt see you use resistors for either side does it need them?

two years later, how are your LEDs holding up since hard wiring them into the parking lamps?
They worked fine until I swapped out the headlights for AphaRex USA's
I've changed my head light housings twice now and I haven't seen that design! I think the next set I buy I'll have to get a set of those! Are they still holding up nice?
So far so good. I can tell the plastic isn't as thick and durable... but no problems so far.

Throw on a led 6k for your projector and swap out your turn signals with leds 👍🏻

Yea but will those h1 led bulbs fit in these housings? I've got the ccfl halo projectors and ordered led h1s and they bulbs were slightly bigger than the halogen h1 bulbs.
Does anyone know where I can find the harness for this headlight. The led keeps flickering and needs new wiring. I can’t find them anywhere!! I have pretty much the same truck. Same color. 2011. Same headlights but smoked back lights and some moto rims 35 tires.

Being wired into the parking lights requires manually turning them on each time correct? Do they stay on when you turn the headlights on? I just purchased a set and was a little disappointed that they came with virtually no instructions from Spyder.
I've since rewired them into the headlamps so they are on all the time. Unfortunately there isn't a way to disconnect the headlamp from running as the DRL & Low beam. It all one power source.

Wouldn’t wiring it this way disable the auto DRL function (aka turning on when the truck is in a drive or reverse) and you would need to switch your headlight dial to parking lamps every time you get in to activate the DRL since the parking lights don’t come on with the DRL?
Parking lights do coke on with the truck they are DRL just as the stock low beams are too
how do you disable the low beams so they don't come on when shifting into gear?
I have an 07 Silverado and i was wondering what type of exhaust you got under yours also what’s the bet type of leveling kit to buy
Cherry Bomb extreme muffler. As for the leveling kit, if I were to do it again I wouldn't go over 2- 2.5". The 3.5" kit I have compromises the suspension geometry.

Headlights relatively shallow. Next time I pull it off i'll take a closer look.

I actually bought those same headlamps for my truck, but I had to send them back because, my dad got me led bulbs for Christmas. The problem was that you can't use stock bulbs on any headlight housings with halo lights! Which is BS, I don't why they manufacture them that way!

What is the quality of light output and beam pattern of these lights? I'm heavily considering them for my 08 but I'm afraid of buying nice looking lights with terrible output.
Steven Coffman I’ve got them on my 08 Silverado and they’re really bright, but keep in mind that the lights do have to be adjusted. Out of the box, my left one was sticking to the side and the right was pointed upwards. It’s kinda tricky, but finding level ground and doing the adjustment really makes these lights amazing. I know because some reviews on Amazon were posting that the output was dim, but I found that proper adjustment goes a long way.
dannySRT6.4 did you change bulbs before install and adjustment, I imagine the supplied bulbs are less than ideal but I'm not sure if I should go the route of HIDs. Or LEDs because they sometimes turn out worse in non HID projectors.
Steven Coffman I put white HIDs for the projector and amber LEDs for sidemarker/turn signal lights
Hate to revive this question but I'm curious now that you've had them a couple months are they still worth the money? And have you had any issues running the HIDs in the projector?
Does the headlights come with different bulbs too?
Headlights come with H1 style bulbs pre-installed.
