Thank you, really helped me out. In my case, it seems that the middle part of the assembly is the one leaking the oil, not the oil separator that has the membrane, do you happen to know what that part is responsible for? If the oil consumption/leak is not that great, is it fine to drive the car like that for like 300-400 km before replacing?
Hello friend, I'm asking for an explanation, it's not this topic, but I need help. I bought a w211, 2.2 with 136 horsepower, restyling, everything is ok, consumption, does not emit clouds of smoke, the engine works excellent, there is no grease around the engine, but after driving, I noticed that the oil was coming out in the place where the dipstick for measuring the oil level was supposed to be, there is a red cap that is not original, and it does not seal tightly and nicely, but I don't think the oil should be coming out there, what a problem is that my friend Is the oil vapor separator broken, clogged...that's why it's leaking, or something more serious?, thank you in advance my friend.
