Why did you remove the entire air box? why would you undo all of the bolts for the fuel filter when you can just loosen the clamp? and, I believe you have over tightened the oil filter by about 10 times! plus you have used the incorrect oil which does not meet a DPF or cat specification. 5-30, 5-40 is not the issue it's the spec.!

You didn't seem to need to check the level on the dipstick or start the car to fill the oil filter before doing so. Was that because there was no dipstik there to use and it has to be ordered from mercedes ?

@@matejstasik4982You can't drain all the oil. A little bit of the old one remains. For example, 0.2-0.3 liters. You pour in 6.5. After the engine warms up, you get a message that there is too much oil. It's better to add a little on the road than to suck out the excess in a workshop ;)
@@watchandfix6724 too bad than. I have the same engine om 646.963 year 2006 150 ps and no Dpf. I will change from 5w-30 to 5w-40 229.5 engine motor oil, more viscosity- the better protection....
thanks for the video. I'd never put 5W30 in my C220 since it's to light! I always put quality 10w40 never had a problem

Just unclip the top of the air filter box and replace the air filter dont remove the complete air filter box from the car
air filter box is deforming by heat i know because my car has that problem and have differend sound... maybe more work but correct

I recommend to 15,000km for diesel and gasoline

there is no dipstick on these models, you check the oil level in the settings on the instrument cluster

you dont have the Dpf, so you can put 5w-40 motor oil in it
