How to update the firmware of T8S?

- Enter RadioLink official website. T8S, firmware.
(www.radiolink.... Computers with WIN7, WIN8, WIN10, WIN11 or XP system can be used to update the firmware, but Apple MAC computer is not supported.)
Step 1. Install firmware upgrade driver.(Note: You must install the driver on the computer if you update the firmware for the first time.)
Click and download it.
I’ve already downloaded it on the desktop. Here it is. Unzip it. (The driver you download is a zip file. Please use a unzip tool to decompress it. If there is no decompression tool on your computer, you can download the tool from www.radiolink..... )
Install the driver on Windows 10/Windows 11
There are 2 files in it. Select the file based on the system of your computer. If the computer system is WIN10 or win11, select PL2303 Driver.

This PC--Manage--Device Manager--Ports--Update Driver-- Browse my computer for driver software-- Browse and Select the driver you have downloaded on the desktop --Next. When it shows the best drivers for your device are already installed, the driver installation is complete.--close
If the computer system is WIN7, select CH340 Driver. SETUP--INSTALL-- When it shows “The drive is successfully pre-installed in advance!”, the driver installation is complete.--close

Step 2. Download firmware upgrade tool.
Click and download it. I’ve already downloaded it on the desktop. Here it is. Unzip it.
Click and open the APP. Here it is.
Step 3. Update the firmware.
Click and download the latest firmware on the desktop.
Here is the downloaded firmware on the desktop.
There is no need to unzip the firmware.
Open the firmware upgrade tool. Connect the transmitter to the computer with a USB cable. Do not power on T8S now.
Select the right COM port. (You can remove the connection of other devices or check the COM port in Device Manager)
Click Connect and power on T8S within 1 second. Red Disconnected changes into green connected means the connection is successful.
Click APROM, and select the firmware you have downloaded. Open
Start. When the green “PASS” appears, the firmware update is successful.
Don’t unplug the USB cable now. Click “Disconnect” first. The green "Connected" changes into red "Disconnected" means the T8S is disconnected. Then you can unplug the USB cable from T8S.
After the firmware update, we can check the firmware version on Parameter Adjustment App to confirm firmware update is successful.
Turn on T8S. Open parameter setup APP. Connect and check the current firmware.

why do the transmitter t8s use android when the controller crossflight use win10 ?
Hi, sir. T8S is a transmitter, you can use mobile phone or computer to adjust the parameters. CrossFlight is a flight controller. Its Mission Planner only supports computer and does not support mobile phone to adjust parameters. If any question about RadioLink products please feel free to contact us. it will be more atractive for the majority to buy and use it to not relly on commercial operating systems

@@omnianti0 Hi, sir. Sorry T8S APP only supports Android phone, iPhone and windows computer, and sorry I haven't heard of plan of future crossflight software planed for linux or android. But I can send your feedback to our engineer and hope it can be achieved in the future.

OUT OF FIRMMWARE UPDATE IS THEIR REAL DIFERENCE IN QUALITY KNOWING ALL MY HARDWARE IS RADIOLINK BUT I ALSO HAVE A LINUX UBUNTU COMPUTER
