This is advertised to work with the OEM JL and JLU windows. I would like to see a demonstration of JL windows rolled up like that... and then unrolled to see if it caused damage to the plastic grooved sliders.
JK unlimited has hard plastic pieces that lock into the doors. makes them difficult if not impossible to roll. Does this item not work on the unlimited?
There's a plastic rail that runs along the bottom of the side windows. Is it a good idea to have the windows rolled like this? Wouldn't it bend and damage those plastic rails?
We have not tested it, but it should! It may be a bit bulkier than what's in the video because of the plastic panel on the back window corners, but it should roll and close just fine!
You can "roll" them in a larger roll, but they don't lend well to rolling due to the built in hard ends and top "bar" that slides in to place on the soft-top. I currently tuck the two sides for each window in towards the center of the window to make it a more square design. This let's me put it in a carry bag for stuffing in the Jeep to prevent damage, etc.
Does not work with jlu. Also, not advised for any model jeep in Temps below about 60 degrees. Plastic rolled up below that temp start to get hard and brittle when you unroll.
I purchase a lot of my products from Extreme Terrain, however this video takes ET down a BIG notch in credibility. I've tried to find ET responses but cannot find any solutions. The JL top sides have plastic supports that are permanent and DO NOT fold nor roll. This appears to be a serious over-sight or negligence of knowing what they're selling. This is inaccurate for JL.

Can you add to the video using the JL side windows. Or for the JL can you not roll the side windows?

Your RUclips video says it works with JL but when I go to order it says it’s not?
It will not work with Jeep JL. He kept saying that it would and I checked. It won't work. Click the link he sites.
No way this thing works well with a JLU's windows.
