Moofer App still works, but due to an update by VanMoof there isn't a setting for 37 km/h anymore. But still settings for different bell sound and easy change of support via the app for example. Make your own decision if it's worth the money.

Dat lijkt me inderdaad ook een goede kandidaat. Maar ik denk dat ik toch die boost button ga missen, maw de fun factor van de VanMoof. Bovendien vind ik het design, ook van de S5, gewoon mooier. De Veloretti heeft aan de andere kant ook een paar voordelen, zoals de belt en de versnellingsnaaf. Het schakelen gaat bij de S5 echter echt heel soepel, dus ook dat is nu geen argument meer om voor een Ace of Cowboy te gaan, wat mij betreft iig.

There isn't a Store in the Houston area, so service is only via online chat. Sometimes VanMoof will let you fix the bike at a local repair shop (if necessary) and refund the cost. In the worst case scenario you have to send the bike back to Holland (don't throw the VanMoof box away) but according to all the posts I have read, a spare part will be send to you mostly or a fix by a local repair shop is necessary. For the record: I have two bikes (S3 and X3) with no problems. Maybe a tip for you: if you become a member of the Facebook Group VANMOOF ing, you can search in that group for 'Houston'. You'll see riders who have ordered a VanMoof in the Houston area. Get in touch with them to ask this question again.

Does the lack of suspension cause any problems for you?
For me? Not at all! But the bike paths are very good here.
It's only pitty with a lower power assistance that the speed is lower aswell.

I'm 190 cm / 6 Feet, 2,803 Inches.

No it's not my personal solution, but a colleague of mine. He is very enthusiastic about it, so I thought "let's mention it".
