- Split Belt Pro conversion for VanMoof's S3/X3 bike frame.
More info: www.veercycle....
Experience your VanMoof as it should have been: belt driven. Upgrade your chain drive for zero maintenance and incredible durability. Silent and clean operation, improved performance, and 900g lighter than when you bought it.
This system was specially designed and tested for VanMoof riders only, and utilizes the Patent Pending Split Belt system to eliminate the need for a split frame to mount the belt. In fact, no modifications to your bicycle are needed at all, besides removing the old chain-based components and adding the Carbon Fiber belt system in its place.
Our belt drive also eliminates the need for the chainguard as it provides all of the same benefits without any of the noise or rubbing.

As frequent cyclist myself, I am glad that such a company like Veer is giving us an alternative to "Carbon Gates" and let our bikes upgrade to belt drive without modifying our frames. Keep up the work guys! If it wouldnt be that expensive (compared to the cost of my current bikes), i would have already gone through the upgrade to belt drive
Well done!!! Wow 😮
That’s great to see but how it’s functioning without the e-shifter? Any bugs on the bike itself or in the app?
It doesn't effect the e-shifter and is still used normally! We've converted a decent amount of bikes and if installed correctly doesn't have any bugs.
Why are there no universal belt kit with tensioner sold anymore?
Please do a video converting the Sondors LX to Veer belt drive with internally geared hub drive!?
Does the e shifter still work after the install?
could you make a review video of this? i'd love to see it in action.
Great suggestion! We will see if we can't get a video together of the belt drive on the VanMoof. Or if there is someone you'd like to see review our product let us know!
@@veer9772 KevCentral. I want to see him convert a Wal*Mart bike and eBike.
What model of belt is that? and the clicker for it ?
I found out it is much easier to first re-attached the rear wheel and then mount the cable tensioner. Otherwise the e-shifter get's stuck.
Is it possible to reinstall the chainguard again? I want to keep my pants safe from ripping in between the belt
howcan change about a5??
Yes, we state at the beginning of the video that there is some footage of an S2 frame. The concept of installation is the same for both frames and as a small company, we've gotta work with what we got :p
As for the price, we use the highest quality materials and production practices to produce a drivetrain that will last. We pride ourselves as an engineering focused company and it's hard for us to make lessor components. We could easily make a drivetrain that is half the price, but we wanted our first product offerings to be the very best and last the absolute longest. Hopefully you get a chance to try it out and see for yourself!
Its conflicting as initially he installed the automatic gear shifted with rear sprocket and in the last shifted is moved to another side.
Definitely see how that could look confusing. The shifter in relation to the cog doesn't move, we just moved the camera so you could see the backside of the chainstay.
Don’t they (VanMoose) come that way when you order it ?
They don't, but they should ;) The current VanMoof bikes are all chain driven.
Unfortunately, Veer has designed the gear ratio far too long, so that the VanMoof app can no longer be used. You either only shift gears manually or you have to use the Moofer app to configure the transmission.
If you have to ride uphill, it is better to stick with the chain drive, because Veer does not offer an option for a smaller chainring or a larger sprocket.
In winter when there is snow, the toothed belt tends to jump off the sprocket because there is no guide to prevent this.
It's a shame that the product isn't fully developed. I wouldn't buy it again.

I want to buy this belt but this company lack in replying to potential clients questions etc. I’ve tried contacting this company through many channels and they haven’t replied in months. That’s why I’m hesitant to buy their products because if something goes wrong, how the hell do you get in touch with them???
Hello, sorry you've been having trouble getting in touch with us! We have a small team and have been inundated with emails recently so e are slowly getting through them. Someone should have replied to your email by now if you could check.
@@veer9772 do you have a conversion kit still for a 9 spline, 130 bcd road bike?
@@jokawood Yes we do! www.veercycle.com/collections/all/products/single-speed-split-belt-pro-belt-drive?variant=32528396058702
@@veer9772 well, guess I'll save my pennies and get me one.
Why? its not even needed to do this? WHY MAN. EEN KETTING Heeft een langere levensduur zeker voor een fiets. begrijp dit niet.
Upgrading the VanMoof to belt drive saves 800g, maintenance on the drivetrain is extremely low, the belt lasts 3x longer, and the ride feel is much smoother! Let us know if you wanna try it out for yourself ;)
@@veer9772 is die set tools meegeleverd??
This is to difficult for me
I am pretty sure that this is an S2, not an S3.
