I made a testride today at the store in my town (Hamburg, Germany). it was amazing, the boost when you start riding is 2 nice - iam a owner of the electrified s1 since nearly four years now, and there is a big big difference between these two models. big up for the new technologies vanmoof! I think I will buy the x3...regards from northern Germany! :)

Ze lossen het wel steeds netjes op maar als je niet bij een servicepunt in de buurt woont levert het veel gedoe op.

Nice video 👌 I have the VanMoof S2 electrified. When it was working a good bike to ride from home to work. However, the quality of VanMoof is terrible and most of the time the bike isn’t working. The electric system failed 5 times in 2 year. And the quality of the paint, chain and other parts is worthless.
We bought one and I DO NOT recommend you do. Boost button broke within the first 100km. Got a puncture on the rear and after following the complex video instruction to remove an replace the back wheel it would no longer shift into fourth gear. Got a second puncture (!) and cannot get the shifter cable to release so cannot remove the back wheel to repair it. The shifting software is awful, the only way for it to be rideable on anything other than completely flat ground is to go through the process of setting up the custom shift settings. Beautiful design. Awful execution. My advice is to stay away. Mine is back in the box ready to be shipped for repairs, no idea how long that will take.
In Europe a pedelec is a 45 km/h bike and you need a helmet and insurance. The Van Moof and other bikes who have a 25 km/h limit are called ebike. You can drive harder but the motor only supports at a max of 25 km/h.
Have one myself, it's practically impossible to drive it empty. Under 10 percent it turns off the motor and display, the bell, lights and the gear shifting keep on working. I drove 1hr without pedal assist, didn't even lose 1% of charge, so that shouldn't be a problem. Mine is currently at the store because of a defective e-shifter tho lol
cool bike, but I heard so many horror stories about customer service, no way! I would NOT spend $3,000 on this / custom tech that only they can fix, its not like market standard parts...
Quality is exactly the same as any mid priced unit. In fact they are way more glitchy than even cheap chinese crap. Also if you do not get at least an invh of standover clearance then one xannot safely ride the bike,
