This phrase “self-comforting copium” I initially misread as “self-CONFORMING copium”. Both are interesting to consider when it comes to self help / self awareness, and I wonder how concerning “pro-self-conforming” content could be. Kind of like be careful of being encouraged about your own misguided trajectory, as sometimes the negative symptoms of doing the right thing on your own and doing the wrong thing on your own can be similar. Then again, I think “self-conforming” is always a good thing as long as it adheres to the guidelines of logical practicality and basic morality. Logical practicality being don’t plan on making the NBA if you’re me, but know there are a ton of amazing possible things you can do that scratch that itch for authenticity and self-expression, and which can lead to a very good life. Morality being don’t do anything that’s clearly seriously fucking wrong across the board. I enjoy rambling

To reflect, visualize and be fully present is the only way to create your own path. And patience must become your friend. to everyone who is building and chasing dreams, remember to always seek for simplicity while striving to create your own miracle. It will hit hard when you made it and at the same time sitting somewhere in nature and enjoying a simple tea. Then it’s time to watch people changing. A little comedy to watch I guess.

But there's also a reason why so many people cause unnecessary drama and strife, because other's hate for their actions gives them an artificial sense of success. Reminder that a single indicator shouldn't be mistaken for the actual thing. Also, the world doesn't need another Matrix reference.

You can be super athletic, super strong, with super cardio, but still not able to throw a punch or even can throw a punch just not throw a punch nearly as good as someone else and thus the prime physical specimen gets worked. It is like throwing a baseball. Brad can lift all he wants, but he ain't going to throw a fastball anywhere near Randy Johnson, Nolan Ryan, and Roger Clemens. I once saw a huge dude who looked like nothing, but muscle start a fight with a guy that looked below average in most ways ie height, fitness, etc; three seconds after I decided to stay out of it but had wanted to break it up cause dude was so huge I thought other dude was gonna get hurt bad I saw the super muscled dude convulsions on the ground his jaw clearly mangled his gf screaming. Dude started kicking and stomping him and another went to stop him and then I did step in and tell dude stay out of it that big f*ck needs to learn not to be a bully and broken ribs, orbitals, and plenty more might just make him think twice before picking on someone he knows he can beat.
Other people want you to do better, just not TOO much better as to make them feel shitty about themselves. Think about that. It says more about the bad character of some people and how fragile they can be about the success of others around them than actually striving to better themselves. Don't let other people deter you or hold you back.

I bet lots of people don't really have any "real dreams".. Broken/warped people can be so low, that their "dreams" are surviving, affording a flat, a dentist aso.. IF I had not been that, and had had "any good mentor", I could have ended up as "anything", and I've ended up as a loser.. A seed with not dirt or water will never "fullfill" it's "dream"(mission) of becoming a full grown plant.. Yeah - I'm bitter...

I wish people wouldn’t wear baseball caps when sitting for an interview. In my youth, about 112 years ago, it was considered extremely rude for a man to keep a hat, cap, whatever, inside. It’s almost like wearing a coofid mask. You may say this is a superficial comment. But… I feel it deeply! 😟It’s hard to make a human connection when you’re all hidden away. It makes me nervous. There is no hate here, just an observation from the old guard. ❤
