  • Hey guys, today we have a new video for your enjoyment. Today, we have a sovbereign citizen who threatens a judge to mutual combat. The judge revokes his bond, and the sovcit rushes out of the courtroom to avoid being arrested in court. This is just another example of Karens being Karens in court and getting owned on camera.

The whole worldview of the sovereign citizen is based in the premise that courts have no authority over them, and that judges are no more to them than they are to the judge -- just two ordinary human beings, neither of whom has any rights to order the other around.
This judge is totally mishandling this particular sovcit. He's playing into his delusions by being as gentle and flexible as he is. He's allowing a private recording in the courtroom, which is almost never done; and he's not calling him on *any* of the claims that the dude has equal rights in this court to the judge, and is running his own court simultaneously to the judge running his. All the judge is doing is trying to persuade him. Of *course,* if that's what he's seeing, he would believe it was a clear acknowledgement that the judge recognized his equal and independent status!!! From his delusional first premise, it all hangs together.
And then at the end, he didn't even have a bailiff available to prevent him from walking out of the court! This is ridiculous, with a defendant who's been known to threaten violence before.

I agree in principle, but the reality is much more bleak. I have seen videos of SovCits appearing in "Court" that was little more than a folding table that you might see at a cookout. Our friend Judge Perkins works from behind a few cubicle walls and some plexiglass. Not everyone has Judge Judy's budget!
It's also a matter of what staff the sheriff's office has available. In this case, they probably have a small contingent on standby for violent breakouts.
In the end, there is no way that a warrant didn't issue. I'd be surprised if he made it all the way to his -veh-- private conveyance.

Then he said " I have to do what I have to do" in the first 3 sentences! The silent button under the desk should have been pushed. The other thing that drives me crazy are really heavy officers. They are not going to protect anyone across the room since it's difficult for them to move or engage in a chase that could catch dangerous criminals. Several in my family are in LE or as FD well as married to LEO. They all have to pass exstensive physicals and a weekend of specific drills which are really difficult.
That woman judge who was attacked by the crazy defendant did not get saved by the officers. It was the court reporter who got him off of her and took him on. Even after being bitten and having his head bashed, he took the attacker down and held him there.

I'm not sure what court this is but smaller jurisdictions often don't have security in the courtrooms unless an in-custody Defendant is present or there is a known risk. There may be a security guard at the front door to make sure weapons don't get in but they may not have been notified of the situation at that point. Some judges, if they know they are going to take a difficult Defendant into custody, will have the local sheriff's office contacted while he or she chats with the Defendant. The Defendant is then distracted until a Deputy arrives to take them into custody. I have also heard that some prosecutors have been permitted to bring firearms to court due to lack of security.

This is an administrative hearing not a criminal court. Is this not clear when he calls the case? The case was called "Washington Department of Health vs XXXXX". There is no judge. It is an administrative panel. No prosecutor or public defender. This is purely an administrative hearing likely (because there is a bond) that a family member likely filed that he is a threat to himself or he was ordered to maintain mental health treatment and is off his meds. There is a reason why the panel was extremely patient with this man. It is clear he's not operating with a full deck.

I think most of it is an unfortunate combination of arrogance, ignorance (of how the legal system & life in general works), some narcissistic/histrionic traits (grandiose delusions, thinking they're always right, attention seeking, believing they're important & insecurity) & low intellect - iv never seen a sovereign citizen that can read & write above the average 10/12 year old.

Btw I just lived “ I’m a reasonable man.. but I challenge you judge to combat! “ and then runs like a coward out of the courtroom! That entire thing sucked and judge was too nice! He never even ordered the guards to stop him!! Why?? Van said no guards available at that moment? Again, why? They all knew this guy was there and should have had even more guards available! Shame!

No emergency buzzer for judge to notify there is a severe problem, hum. No wonder there is a major, and I mean major problem with the court systems. Cops catch, courts let them loose. Did he think suing the judge and prosecutor then threatening to sue anyone who might hold him accountable would suddenly make his problems go away? At best he has laid the groundwork for his insanity plea. I'm still amazed that he wasn't taken into custody for multiple reasons including contempt and the revocation of his bond. His continued disregard of the rules concerning filming in the courtroom is another thing I can't believe he continually gets away with. I think he is still on the run but will he turn into a statistic when the police attempt to arrest him the next time they find him traveling?
Did he let slip the entire sovereign belief system when he called it "choice of law"? We know sovtards want to be able to pick and choose what laws they follow so long as it doesn't inconvenience or cost them but thats not how life in the United States works. You choose to live here, you are expected to abide by all the laws based on where you live. City, State, and Federal. If he doesn't like it he can take his challenge of mutual combat to a country with actual tyrants who won't think twice to have their soldiers punch his time card for the last time.
