The 2019 GMC Yukon Denali rebuild project comes to an end

- It is time to finish up the 2019 GMC Yukon Denali after replacing the front end due to a collision. There was minimal maintenance to be done since it was still practically new. Now is a perfect time to do some rust proofing to keep this Yukon looking good for years to come.

"Land of corruption and rust." Best line ever. I'm going to start spreading that around here in Texas, while riding a horse of course, of course...
While riding a horse in your nice weather and getting into your rust free truck. Oh yeah and the whole no income tax thing. You have to have to rub in ALL the awesomeness of your state! 😂 It is currently snowing here! 👎🏻
@@vehcor @JackAceINC My next used truck will be from TX for sure. I'm waiting for the end of salt season to buy one, drive it here, and apply about 10 cans of Fluid Film to the underbody and frame before it ever sees Winter. I decided this after going through the fun of cutting the rotten front swaybar bracket off my 2007 Yukon and welding on a new one.
I wish the painting gnomes, the cleaning freaks and the afternoon crew could come together and live in peace
What about the safety experts? I guess no one likes them! 😂
I don't care if they live in peace, I just wish they'd drop by my house.
@@vehcor safety experts can rot in hell lol
Missed not having a video last week. Look forward to it every week 😊
Thanks, I was picking up some new builds and working on some others. No time for editing!
@@vehcor No Worries. Can’t wait to see them!!
@@vehcor Does that mean extra videos coming up? Fingers crossed.
Thanks for coming back. Last Friday was more boring than usual
I would have thought it would be less boring. I need to work on my level of boring. lol
Always refreshing to see a guy take pride in his work, especially when it's every time he works. 🇺🇲
I'm very proud of you learning from Mister Spotty.
He is always keeping and eye on me. lol
@@vehcor Mr Spotty is drawn on yellow paper, so would that be a jaundiced eye? >)
@ 22:00.... As an owner of several of these trucks... Yes. Thank you. That tailgate loves to start rusting.... The whole rest of the truck will be perfect, and boom... There's the tailgate... Rusting like crazy....
At least there will be one nice gate in 5 years! 😂
Mustang....... Mustang...... Mustang..... Get back to it..... Looking great so far....
Great video! I was disappointed not to see a container full of “Hater’s Tears” coming out of the console! 😉
Thanks, I need a bigger container!
I hope you never stop making content! Def enjoy every minute
Thanks, I’ll do my best to keep going. Thanks for the support!
@@vehcor enjoy the qwik builds of older cars. That pontiac was stellar
You are a true artist!!!!
Excellent job and video production. Lots and lots of work 💪
When Scotty is done it’s like “ More Better Than New “ and “ No One Has Been Here Before “.
Man, I'm taking too much time in the toilet, these videos are so cool I loose track of time
I haven’t seen the mustang in so long I nearly forgot about it
Now if everyone else would, I can introduce it as a new build! 😂
We promise, if you present it as a new build, we will look and act surprised. Wow, making a Mustang out of two different era’s, this could be very promising.
@@vehcor what mustang?
What a new mustang ??? I need more popcorn
Love boring build fridays make my week go by knowing I’ll watch this on Friday
Thanks for the support!
LOL, a wiring harness in a bumper!! i grew up in time when bumpers looked like chromed 2 by 4's and were bolted to the frame with crusty rusty bolts
nice job on the yukon
Now they have modules, cameras, sensors, and miles of wires in them. Gotta have the fancy gadgets! lol
I have a car with steel back and front bumpers and no wiring harness or other fancy stuff. Not chrome, but painted. It's a 1982 Mitsubishi L300 van.
You have a wealth of car knowledge and patience.
I'm amazed every time I watch you work.
My friend YOU ARE A ARTIST... CERTAINLY NOT A SLOPPY MECHANIC...!
Missed ya last Friday! Glad to see you back, needed my fix!
Too busy working to edit. Hard to get back into a routine. Hopefully I can keep going. Thanks for the support.
And now your channel is blessed
Love u my child
A video worth watching! A no BS video without the annoying "music". You really know your stuff! Thanks for sharing your talent and knowledge with us. I look forward to the next video.
Cheers.
Your workmanship is a master piece!!!
I’m hardly ever this early. Love your content dude!
Thanks and thanks for watching!
I was a rebuilder for 16 years now I do PDR hail repair for 10 years and I do miss rebuilding cars
Happy face sticky’s are excellent addition to cool content.
Hey Hope u doing Good Scott!
Thanks, hope you are doing well also!
It looks better than new and with improved rust protection! And already sold out!
Excellent, creative, genius and loyal in performing your work, with success and success
Checked 2 hrs after the vid was post and it shows sold. 👍🏼👍🏼
It only last a couple minutes. I think it was too cheap! 😂
“The land of corruption and rust.” I love it.
That was a pretty quick turn around time on the Denali. That automatic seat folding trick is pretty slick. I didn't know they had got so fancy but for what they expect people to pay for new vehicles these days they should balance your checkbook and burp your baby too.
"I can almost stop complaining..." Oh please don't.
"Almost" being the operative word. lol
That’s one straight Yukon now.
Man just checked Denali is already sold. Nice job!👍🏼
I am from Guatemala Central, I am impres the way you install every single part, never forgot the place of every single part. I love that. You have many years of experience. Congratulation
Thanks for the support. Best wishes from the USA!
I really enjoyed the content dude. And I really appreciate that it is profanity free.
We love your channel. My son and I started our first build because our your channel and goonzquad and a few others.
Gnomes are useful when you need them, but when you don’t, well they just hang around and cast shadows. Great video Scott. That is one beautiful vehicle. You did a great job as usual. I missed not having a video to watch last week. You’re spoiling us.
I really need an editor, then you could have weekly videos and I could make more content. Of course you will lose my personal touch in the videos then. Thanks for the support.
@@vehcor well don’t do that. Keep your videos just like they are. Your personal touch and humor is what makes them great.
Love the cavity wax! I have two gallons of something called pfc for a couple of my newer SUVs. 13 and 16. I refuse to watch them rust away before my eyes like the last few. Great job!
A few minutes or even a couple hours will help your investment last for years. I was convinced after my first plow truck! Thanks for watching!
Was wondering what that was for.
Glad your back. Missed your video and you last Friday
I was picking up builds and making some videos. Now I just need to find an editing gnome! lol
Missed you and mr spotty last week hopefully mr spotty is happy with his raise keep up the good work
We were working to hard and didn’t have time to edit the videos. He will be happy with his raise or unemployed! 😂
Beautiful vehicle job well done from an ole man in Texas!
Nice job sir. Your "bumber installation tool" is very versatile.
It sure is but the tool nazis complain about me misusing tools. lol
I've enjoyed today's puzzle. The excellence is always over the top. The ending was like listening to a Tom Petty album.
Thank you.
The Denali is beautiful! You always impress me with your attention to detail!!!
the thing i love about your videos, is you explain the parts and what your doing.
I need my 2013 Yukon Back on the Road!
I have some parts if you need them.

Great build. Look forward to them every Friday.
Thanks for the support.
Scott, as usual, you do an awesome job. Vehicle looks brand new. Ashame it is not a FORD. Thanks for the video and have a great day
Really nice job with the Yukon!
I guess you told Mr Spotty when he seen his cousins rolled in a ball on the floor lol. Great Video,Stay Safe✌🏽
His demands stopped after that! 😂
From Saudi Arabia, I’m following ur channel. Great video production and well done fixing job..
So basically you finish the car better than it was originally! I wouldn’t have a problem buying any vehicles from you!
I rented one of these to take a trip. It was the nicest and best driving vehicle ive ever been in. Too rich for my poor broke ass, but it was a very nice ride.
I've been following you for a good long time now, and it always amazes me how much of a car is now held together with plastic clips. It just amazes me that cars don't self disassemble at the slightest tap. Stellar work on the Yukon! Oh, and if no one has claimed the gnome by now, you are stuck with him!!
A Japanese Ferrari has to be pretty rare!
It is the only one I have ever seen!
@@vehcorhey...... it's nice to see a roaming gnome...and how much YA selling this one for?
just asking.....and...my eye was on that AMG
Maybe Mrs Wes could use a nice fancy Denali
Nissan the GM of Japan ,,,, junk
@@vehcor It was a kit sold in the late 1970s-early 1980s (if I remember correctly) to make a Datsun 240Z into a Ferrari GTO clone. There were a few done here in Australia at the time and they looked impressive. I think Ferrari took the company to court to stop them making them and using the Ferrari name. A mechanic at my old work started to build one, but I don’t know if he ever finished it. A good original 240Z would now be worth much more than the converted one.
Only issue I can see is factory white bumpers are a solid color all the way through. You prime and paint black bumpers the core is still black. Someone in a parking lot with a shopping cart hits or scrapes the bumper it will be black scratches showing and will look horrible !
I found the bumper installation tool to be useful for much more than installing bumpers. You can use it to install wheel covers, for example. It is also great for popping out dents from behind body panels when they manifest themselves (if you can get it worked back in there lol!) Another excellent build Scott!
I use it for everything but the tool nazis like to complain about my misuse of tools. 😂 Thanks for watching!
its also handy for bullies, i learned it in high school
Love the lock picking lawyer reference at the end 🤣
As a retired professional armchair quarterback I’m elated I have nothing to add. Thanks
Every once in a while, it goes right! 😂 Thanks for watching!
I wish you a very good 2021 and look forward for all your cool video’s. Say hi to Mr. S.
Thanks for the support!
WOW - a body repair guy that actually puts all the clips and bolts back in properly.
Nothing better than enjoying my lunch watching Mr. Spotty try to steal the show!
😃
There are so many “mechanics” out there that are nothing more than parts changers. You are very detailed and do great work! That Denali looks perfect!
I thought you got a little carried away with the Cavity Wax (for a second) UNTIL I realized How Important It Actually Is! Thank You! Sonny (CT)
Between your video s, and Precision Transmission all of the mystery is gone. Makes me happy driving our easy and cheap to repair, or kick to the ditch 1998 GM cars. Better than binging on Netflix.
When it comes to putting a car or truck or trailer back together your #1👈🏽 hands down
😎
great video, explained everything great editing and camera work. i would buy from you. professional n honest rare traits nowadays
👍 from the Netherlands 🇳🇱 .
thanks for the video .
Stay Safe !
Hope you and the family had a great holiday, glad to have you back on assebly.
I must be learning! When you missed the handle gasket I said what? Then you replaced it. Great videos!
I wish you would have told me before I got the handle on! lol
You're not only very good at what you do, you are very funny (and accurate) describing the engineers that are responsible for designing these vehicles.
Place blue painters tape on your spray tube, two inches from the end....helps prevent spraying when you pull out too far while still spraying.....see what I did there?
Very underrated youtuber. Great job
Always enjoy your channel. Thank you
liked this one a lot.
Me too but too nice for me. lol
Amazing results!!
I used that same Bumber Installation Tool on my 14 Fusion to replace headlight bulbs.Works like a charm.
One of the most useful tools I own. lol
You make it look easy.but I know it is not.👍
It's not too bad although the doors could be easier. lol
Great Job, made it look pretty easy, most people will not try a job like that because they tell themselves they can't do it, and if that is their attitude, than they are right, as for me the way I feel is, don'y know till you try it.
Sir you are a craftsman!
Ah, Scott, a little Roaming Gnome now and then does a body good. Another great video. Keep em coming and continue to stay safe during this plague.
Now I am hooked, waiting every Friday for your latest video! Keep up the great work!
Awesome! Thank you!
@@vehcor You are welcome sir!
Watching this gets the point across. A lot of disassemble needed to do the job right
WE miss you we need more videos. Come onnnnnn!
I need an editing gnome!
been trying to figure out mr spotty. he's for the camera set up. really enjoy the videos. thanks for the education and entertainment.
He is just there to focus the camera. Thanks for watching.
Glad to see you today missed your videos last week, hope your doing good.
Busy getting some work done! Thanks for the support!
You must have worked on the door line in some GM plant cause we put the panels on very similar to you. Excellent job as usual. Cheers
I use an almost identical tool to you it's called the Wristomatic 3000 universal installation tool, just wish I had read the instructions first and I wouldn't have broke it, three months wait to get it repaired 🤕. By the way has Mr Spotty sacked the afternoon crew as I haven't seen them for a while. Here's to the next boring build👍👍. Gary 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧
That bumper installation tool comes in handy a lot. :)
Very versatile! 😂
In my best Spicoli voice from Fast Times at Ridgemont High: “I know the Vehcor repair man; he’s got an awesome set of tools”. 🤣
😂
Very very cool (Work well done conscientiously) Continue with good luck
Awesome work as always Scott and I see that you have already sold the Denali ........... Thumbs UP to you , have a great weekend .
Thanks 👍It didn't take long so I think I might look for more of them. They are nice. Have a great weekend as well!
Love you man and the after noon crew always make my day better 👍
Thanks!
Its been Vehcorized!!!!
lol
That Ferrari kit car looks impressive from this distance 🏴Scotland or are my eyes deceiving me? Old style riveter is a good work out for the muscles 💪🏻 and if you don’t use them you loose them, I know from experience 🙄. Nice to see a manufacturer using a decent water barrier material instead of the obligatory polythene 👍🏻
The kit is pretty well made and is 30 years old so it has held up well. I don’t mind the hand riveter because editing videos with the compressor running in the background really sucks. 😂
Awesome video!
Looking good! Another successful build!
Thanks!
Man vacation must have been nice. Happy New year to to you all. Thanks for sharing.
I don’t know, this is the first year in like a decade that I didn’t get a vacation! I plan on making up for it this summer. Thanks for watching!
