The midas truck looks bad azz, I loke the way you reconditioned it there in Arizona so far from home, man you have some really special friends that help you out with parts and accommodations, very special people in the hobby.
I had a 1979 Ford Bronko that was a midas touch same color as your truck I traded it in in Salinas California Salinas valley Ford only reason I traded it in was I was going to Germany and so I got a 1983 Mustang GT
Just so you know those trucks never came with Chad carpet that was obviously something the previous owner added to the truck . The floor mats are cool I haven't seen those in a long time they used to be sold at every auto parts store and Kmart
That's beautiful! I had to fast forward when you were pulling up the carpet. Not seeing you wear a mask gave me the shivers. Was the rear window bad or did you just want a new one?
The guy that does the best job with campers/vans runs the channel Dual Ex - you should check out few of his uploads and I bet you could work something out.
No offense, but I think you gotta take the word restoration out of this title. Nothing mechanical or body work wise was done, all you did was get it detailed nice and put a more desirable bench seat in and fresh carpet. I get you’d want to keep the original vibe with a rare truck like this, but with all the pin holes and hard rust spots still there you can’t call this a restoration.
Thanks for the feedback, it's all about keeping the vibe on this one, but I'm always open to suggestions! There are levels of restoration and this is a 2/10 😂
Wow it cleaned up great! Great looking Ford!
We are happy with it
That's a cool truck!! You have a great group of friends
Appreciate it! They are the best.
Finding some gems bro 👍
They find me haha
I am blown away by how good that truck looks without the cap. And with just the clean up and new glass, you have doubled the value. Great find.
I’m really happy with how it turned out!
I love this truck and all of your others awesome collection
Thanks for the love!

Awesome, I've been wondering about my truck for a long time. It had the same interior and scallops that were painted over. Very cool!
I ran out to the garage and the Midas Touch decal is still there on the front fender under the respray and I never even knew it!
Glad to help!

A LUVERNE step bumper. I had one on my 79 f250. I worked at JUSTER steel in Minnesota and they supplied the steel. Seems like yesterday. Cool truck.
I love hearing these stories!
I had a 1979 Ford Bronko that was a midas touch same color as your truck I traded it in in Salinas California Salinas valley Ford only reason I traded it in was I was going to Germany and so I got a 1983 Mustang GT
That’s a bummer to trade it in, but understandable!
Just so you know those trucks never came with Chad carpet that was obviously something the previous owner added to the truck . The floor mats are cool I haven't seen those in a long time they used to be sold at every auto parts store and Kmart
All Midas Touch trucks came with Shag. I love those mats too
@@FordEra Our Midas had the same exact Shag carpet.
Dont understand everybody getting rid of the sliders nowadays. Dont get it...
For me it’s the look i like the bigger window and i never use the slider
That's beautiful! I had to fast forward when you were pulling up the carpet. Not seeing you wear a mask gave me the shivers. Was the rear window bad or did you just want a new one?
The window was good but i like the bigger glass better
How come you took out the sliding rear window?
I like the look better and it’s safer
