That also includes the dump trucks from that same era. 1967 Bump sides are a one year only deal on some of their parts hood emblems, heater knobs, radio, grille and the doors. However 68/72 doors will retrofit on to a 67 they just will have the door lock knobs that 67's don't have.

    Hey Solomon. I wonder where their sheetmetal is from. U.S.A. or somewhere else? We used "non U.S." aftermarket fenders and doors on my friends 1976 Dodge Ramcharger about 25 years ago and they only took a few years to rust out.

    • @Project_Low_Expectations
      @Project_Low_Expectations Год назад +1

      I was heavy into the 67-72 GM trucks for a long time, and while I do try to support US pieces, I will also say that *MOST of* the China pieces of today are better than *MOST of* the US pieces of 20 years ago.
      The original repro complete tailgate made for the 67-72 GM truck weighed just over 50% the weight of a stock one. We’ll ignore the glaring errors made in stamping… like not embossed with the GMC nor CHEVROLET lettering, but those gates were such garbage, I sat in the middle of the gate, fully assembled, properly installed, finished product… and my 195 pound self bowed the damn gate. Wouldn’t even latch. That was in 2001 or 02, so just over 20 years ago.
      As a union man I also wonder country of origin, but if it is the best piece made, with a forever warranty from rust (!!!) I would be ok if the box said China.
