The body is an amazing thing. Last February I could barely walk because my L5-S1 was so herniated & encroaching on my sciatic nerve. It was horrible & I almost needed surgery, but through a lot of hard work in physical therapy & taking better care of my body I cannot believe I just accomplished wheel pose pain free. Amazing! Thank you for this flow & series!

I love how we're actually progressing toward something. Most teachers say if it's within your practice, but don't go on to tell you how to learn that particular pose.
What a great introduction to my workout! I wasn't able to do step 3 in wheel pose, but that's ok. I give myself an 'A' for effort and for showing up on my mat! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ugh thinking back to when I was like 10-12 years old and doing the wheel was no problem at all. I just did it for fun.. Now 29 and two kids later what a struggle! Looks like I have a new goal to aim for!!!!
Ok, this series is excellent. I have been aware that I haven't really been progressing to some of the more challenging poses, but didn't know how to get from 0-60. This will do it! I almost got into wheel which is par for the course, but this made it clear that the issue is strength not flexibility. After the 30 days is over I will come back and do just this video for a week and I bet I will get it. THANK YOU!!

Hi, Charlie! I'm 13 years old girl and new here but I've tried so many of your classes. I need to say that my favorite is a flow for back and hips. Really enjoyed this one.
I've done my 200h YTT in 2018 and have really been neglecting yoga for the past years since I've seen it as a form of exercise, getting frustrated when I didn't exhaust myself and got all sweaty.. you really helped me to fall back in love with just practicing and being aware of how blissful my body feels afterwards.. thank you

I'm a few days behind on the series, but I wanted to say that I'm absolutely loving it. I've never before done a standing split until Day 1 eased me into it, and I had never even TRIED wheel until now. There was a moment there at the end when it came time to do the full wheel pose where I thought I wasn't able to do it, but then it felt like I got over the hurdle and my body just... went into it and I was able to hold it for the full duration! This was a really good workout and I feel so proud of myself for doing these new, more advanced poses. You're probably one of the best yoga channels on the website, you do videos of a variety of different lengths and skill levels, you're accommodating and welcoming but not to a patronizing degree, your voiceover is very calm and collected, and the aesthetics of every video are serene and beautiful. Thank you for all the content you put out, you've become a part of my daily routine and are a massive help to my mental and physical health
i honestly didn't think i would be able to do a full wheel in this session, but i did! i held it for longer than i thought i could. i think this is the strongest i've ever felt. Thanks Charlie

It seems like when I join your videos, not only am I transported into an amazing yoga journey, but I'm also taken to an ethereal place that is almost always different, yet divinely, simply beautiful: an almost empty beach with the surf crashing in the distance; a dock extending out over a tranquil pond; an archway with majestic stone pillars; or even an indoor studio with floor length garage door windows and an ancient tree supervising through the glass. It's divine.

Great work out & challenge! This is the first session I have done from your 30-day challenge, which I put in my favourites. I loved the Archer's lunge, downard dog (DD) --> knee to nose --> DD, boat and extended bow. Your bow is quite inspiring - your chest and legs lift so high! I managed to get into Wheel for the first time - so 2024 will be a good year 🥳 The clear instructions and build up to Wheel helped. Happy new year to you & everyone on this channel 😊
Day 3 was very difficult for me. I was in pain today and could do little other than sleep. It's a little after 2am on January 4th, but I am proud of myself for persisting in spite of what ails me :)
Wow... holidays came around and that shows... I was confortable in wild thing in december, and today I cannot hold it! Paradoxicaly, I felt amazing in wheel (I usually feel my lower back a little too much... so I avoid this pose). With your preparation I felt strong when I reached this peak pose. Thanks a million! And looking forward to the rest of the challenge!

When I was a child it was so easy for me to do a backbend so it was interesting to rediscover what my body can do now at 31. I had to use a lot of the modifications that you gave but at the same time I was surprised at what my body can do. I'm excited to build my strength but also find the confidence as an adult to be able to do the different asana. Another wonderful class, Charlie!
This was the first time I managed to push up to wheel! I am so happy and proud! My first thought when I got there "Oh this isn't so hard actually!" This is all thanks to your great flow to build up to it! So thank you so much Charlie, looking forward to the rest of the month
I'm on day 3. At 60 years old, I'm taking on the 30-day challenge. This session is a bit difficult so I'm just letting my body learn the poses. Extending poses if the next is difficult. Will definitely finish the challenge. Thank you.

Wow! Thank you for your time and energy Charlie! I've never done a back end before and was a bit hesitant if I could do this video. I had to watch the back end instructions a few times but I got it! I loved that you progressed into this, gave instructions and made this accessible for all levels. I was feeling low and wasn't going to do any workout but this 30day challenge has given me some motivation and I feel so accomplished and just good after this flow. Thank you!!!!

beautifully led practice! Wrist flexibility has negatively affected my ability to do wheel, a posture that gives me so much joy. Thank you for giving proper warm up and strengthening some time during your practices, it has really helped me and some day I might do wheel comfortably again!
Wheel was already in my practice, but I always tended to just muscle into it. Deconstructing it in this way and working in stages made it feel much more embodied, and honestly made me feel grateful for my body and what it can do. Amazing guidance. Thank you for the work you put into your classes.

please explain why do we rest with feet apart and knees touching, and not letting the knees also stay parallel over the feet

Wow! Thank you for your time and energy Charlie! I've never done a back end before and was a bit hesitant if I could do this video. I had to watch the back end instructions a few times but I got it! I loved that you progressed into this, gave instructions and made this accessible for all levels. I was feeling low and wasn't going to do any workout but this 30day challenge has given me some motivation and I feel so accomplished and just good after this flow. Thank you!!!!

Thank you for day 3. I am so proud of myself and a bit surprised because I was able to lift my head during wheel pose. I loved the format of the practice it really make it manageable to make it through that pose with several steps. Thank you so so so much to push myself to grow stronger and healthier every day !!!
beautifully led practice! Wrist flexibility has negatively affected my ability to do wheel, a posture that gives me so much joy. Thank you for giving proper warm up and strengthening some time during your practices, it has really helped me and some day I might do wheel comfortably again!
Wheel was already in my practice, but I always tended to just muscle into it. Deconstructing it in this way and working in stages made it feel much more embodied, and honestly made me feel grateful for my body and what it can do. Amazing guidance. Thank you for the work you put into your classes.
