Deny people do give a fuck. Thats almost 10% of the total price and you dont need it if you go offroad. It is a big difference to spend 90K or 100K. My parents also didnt option it cuz its not that different on a normal road and its too expensive

@The Truth The people that drive offroad on a day to day basis usually own a Toyota , Jeep or a Land rover, because they are cheaper. Most people aren't going to risk damaging their $100k+ luxury SUV.

It should have a different interior design, not the same as the GLE
I thought at least they'd put an analogue clock between the vents like in the S class. Typical cost cutting by mimicking GLE Interior
The difference between the regular E and S classes is huge in interior, I dont know why they didnt at least add the different more luxury seats, whats the point of even getting the GLS? It costs more, all this tech will probably be offered on the GLE as well, and you can get a 7 seater GLE for a less price. Dunno what they are aiming with this but feels bad calling this an S level class.
Brutaleon it was the same thing when you compared last gen GLE and GLS, almost the same. I also think that the GLE is is more luxurious compared to normal E.

that's as base as it gets. even the leather is entry level.
The interior is fine to me. However, the rectangular air vents look a little dated compared to the wind turbine air vents in the A-Class and the CLS.
The dash seems to be designed by an eight year old

I prefer Mercedes Benz but the interior of the X7 is clearly superior; however, the GLS does win in driving technology.

Just found your reviews. Love how you test interior capacity. Definitely something I will greatly consider in purchasing my next vehicle. With three kids, two of those in car seats, plus visitors, I like to make sure we have adequate room. I’m not looking for a minivan since we usually hold on to cars for about 10 years. I hope you review the Navigator and other full size SUV’s soon.

I don't know if it's because I've been away from the channel for a while but that was the best review I've seen in ages, and very little to do with the car. I had to pause to laugh at '...and poking it with a stick' in to that cut away of Matt...poking it with a stick! The humour on the channel is brilliant, keeps me coming back.

@@porschet5898 it got fake surroundings but very real exhaust inside, so they're actuall not fake, about sound from speakers, that is indeed quite sad
If you equip the GLS with 3D high end burmester then you wont have fake exhaust. Only the base line speaker gets fake exhaust.

A review of the new GLS on Autocar mentioned that the E-Active Body Control system won’t be offered in the UK, mentioning that the EABC is “not being offered on right-hand-drive cars yet”.

The X7 is better than an GLS or a GLA or a GLE or an s class. The GLS is not very good but the GLA and the GLE aren't better than it.

Great Luxury SUV. My one criticism is the air suspension should be optional rather than standard as air suspensions always eventually fail and are horrendously expensive to repair
The wonderful suspension especially the innovative system that's purposeful for off-roads application is really great to have. Lets just hope they're won't break any legs or arms come maintenance replacements. While the dials looks stylish as usual but Mercedes should have kept it's previous round jet exhaust style aircon vents instead. The seat and panels looks really cheap though. Styling up front and side are spot on for a strong SUV but the real lights desperately need restyling.
How long they are going to give updates for the OS of this car??

At 14:49 does anyone see how there are two different wheels. And then just a couple seconds later the angle changes and you can see to different wheels on the other side.
This car is quite capable off-road. What’s important though is not to do it with standard tires, especially the amg ones. Try dirt tyres and you’ll see what it can really do.
I’ve tried it with the 21 inch ones and it didn’t go all too well 🙈
15:35 My dad had the same problem with his new x5. The seats were not working so he had to take it to BMW and they reprogrammed it and it worked and has not had any problems after that. These electric seats are so bad and impractical I have no idea why some car manufacturers added it. 🤔🤷♂️

I loved this car in videos but,
We took my Mum’s (2016) GLC in for a service and then we looked around this car. I’m (a kid) 135cm tall and the top of my head just about reached the side mirrors, and couldn’t be seen out the back window!
It’s quite big!
But other than that it’s lovely 😍.

To accelerate more steadily, curl your toes instead of pressing with your foot. It will give you a more even and sure pedal press and hold. Just a little tip I picked up from track days. Hope it helps
