Hey Red I’m thinking about doing a 420cc predator build but I’m worried that the predator engine is made for a lot of torque no speed, if I were to slap some performance parts in it could it achieve atleast 60mph in a two person light frame?
It's awesome, looks like it could use a little more engine but it looks like it handles great and the sprocket change alone will probably wake it up. love this build
Problem with that type of swing arm if the bolt breaks you going to regret it and end up hurt really bad. Your better off with motorcycle type swing arm. I run a 3 bolt swing arm 5/8" at 4" grade 8. I do serious off road with my side by side. And gopowersports is way over rated this guy pushes them because they pay him. It might look sick but that swing arm can kill people.
Even with living in ND. The temptation of having you guys build my son a car so he can drive his own instead of riding with us(rzr) is a very very real thing.
You do brilliant design and fabrication work. I think the rear suspension is amazing and really sets the cart apart from the more common designs. Excellent. I think the trails on the new property could use a few stumps cut down flush with the ground. I would hate for someone to bend up a cart hitting one of those. Take care and have a great year and a blessed new decade... Joe
Damn fine build fellas! Thank you for the inadvertent lesson in soldering lugs onto wire. I have to make some jumper wires for my dual battery set up on my ATV camping trailer and I was wondering how to solder the joints

nice cart build, like how the rear end can flex like that. Though for a big man like myself id have to go with at least the 670 or something a bit larger. Shoot id love to see a 1200 Vtwin on something like that.
I agree with everyone else it's so over built for the power plant it really needs a shifter and a small cc motor cycle or ATV engine but other than that it's BAD ASS!!!!!!!
Wow this buggy turn out super cool, I've been trying to do something like this with my spiderbox jerf dog. I've been looking for a four-wheeler to use the engine like you recommend me
Hi Red Beard! Really enjoy your videos. They are well choreographed, informative, and love your "down home" - "ya'll are welcome" style of presentation. I really appreciate the pains you go to to include the steps you do and why you do them. Your videos are like going to school, only more fun! :-) It amazes me how quickly you are able to put things together with your MIG welder. Would you mind describing your welding equipment and setup? I would also like to know more about the propane torch (it sounded like it had a 'blower' on it) you used to solder up the battery leads and the little "burner-thingy" that you used for the shrink tube. You must keep one "helluva" schedule to build your garage and create your machines, but, I sure would appreciate your taking the time to answer my questions. Thanks, and "have a good one!" FrankyLynn
Hey Redbeard.. I installed all the cool parts you sent. The flat top piston and racing cam and billet rod and bearings. Can you tell us what the valve lash should be? Thanks for the great parts.
Maybe it's a silly question. But I have a 4 wheeler and am not sure what the gearing ratio should be. It's a backyard toy, 250cc sized Chinese frame with a decently built predator 212 on it.
Any suggestions for rear suspension on an old yerf dog cart that won’t break the bank? I’m not sure what exact frame it is but the rear end is getting rebuilt. I believe the original aprons were around 16”
Do you think I could use a 500 ninja Yamaha engine on my jerf dog. It won't be too much trouble with the gearing? Or would it be the same as a four-wheeler
hey, me and my buddy are doing our first build ever and we want to do a two person off-road go kart, we do not want it to be all torque and we are hoping it can hit atleast 50. Any engine suggestions?
My opinion would be buy a small cc four wheeler like a 300, 350 or something then you got shocks rear end engine and what not good luck on your project
Question ?? How much does it cost to do all these upgrades you guys make to minibikes & Go-carts ?? Typically ?? Cause I'm wondering if i should just spend the extra cash on bikes/carts already set up for speeds i need & want vs buy cheaper stuff & modding it out myself. I used to love to work on stuff myself. But i just don't have the patience anymore to do the work myself. Then im never satisfied either after i work on stuff. I end up tinkering tinkering. BUT if i buy things new the way i want them i do not Tinker. I'll take it Pros to get things back to working order, etc...
Pretty rad. At this point with the builds it's time to go IRS. Plus time to ditch the chinese motors and get some more performance. I want a 400ex motor to replace my GY6 on my buggy but I'm currently building my $250 rhino 660.
Would be nice if 400ex engines grew on trees. I've been looking for about 3 years for one. Around here 2wd 4wheelers have gotten rare and even clapped out ones bring more than they are worth.
@dustinjohnson2116 not sure if they would fit your Kart but they are 25 tall 8 wide 12 rim on the back 22tall 7 wide 10 tall front the lug pattern is 4on 4 front 4 on 110 back I had to get 4on4 to 4on110 adapters for the back
Let us know if you like this customer build!!! 👇🏎🛠

Red Beard's Garage pretty cool 👍🤟
Why would you put the battery box and gas tank back there. That's where I would want to put my cooler out bogging with the guys?
It's awesome, looks like it could use a little more engine but it looks like it handles great and the sprocket change alone will probably wake it up. love this build
Josh Blainer yeah
Bro you always have the hardest beats on your videos.
Build like that deserves more power and a shifter transmission
Crotch rocket swap.
I love the way you hook up the back of the frame. That thing is sick.

Wow awesome toy 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

It's a crazy build. Dont doubt yourself. That suspension is inspiring.
The sound is awesome. You can hear every explosion inside the cylinder.

Build looks great! Looking forward to seeing the future power mods. Would love to see you guys do a small two seater 100hp+ long travel dune rail.
The panarod works nice . the whole thing has turned out sick. Keep up the good work.
Damn fine build fellas! Thank you for the inadvertent lesson in soldering lugs onto wire. I have to make some jumper wires for my dual battery set up on my ATV camping trailer and I was wondering how to solder the joints
Happy new year mate, I wish you all the best with the plans that you have for this year.
Yet again a great build brother.

So much room for activities!!
Love ur channel bro keep up the good work
Bump stops between the rear arm an chassis would help alot too killer build guys. 👊😎👍
Great vid as usual,i caught the live IG feed earlier today...still a killer kart

Fab and wiring second to none. Much love, God bless and peace out
Amazing video
Like it. For sure!
11:11 greg almost had a heart attack when that belt started making noise 🤣🤣
The front end is the money shot.
Cool rear suspension design, it needs a v twin 😂 👍
lol sounds like im not the only person who said v twin lol
Like it, it’s like something the average person like me can do!😊
Do you have a link to the key switch that you used?

Please! For all of our sanity, someone send RedBeard a new gopro so we can get better quality ride alongs! Loved the build!

Does that trail go right by a grass airstrip? Saw what looks to be like a small hangar
Maybe it's a silly question. But I have a 4 wheeler and am not sure what the gearing ratio should be.

Nice
What’s the combination of your sprockets? Nice build man
Where did get that sprocket on the axle? And what gauge and no of teeth is it?
Looks pretty good, what size heim joint did you use on the center link again?
Nice builds but those mower engines just dont have enough power yall need to do one with a 600 sport bike engine.
Hi, do you have blueprints to make that Dune Buggy?
What's the reason for holding the shocks at half travel while doing the panhard bar? Is that just the right way to set it up?
How bout a type of sprocket /chain guard once you get the gearing right for just in case?
How did you find the over all performance of these shocks? I’m using your set up on a build I have on the go
Hey Red Beard, can I get the link for the key start switch used on the build, thank you. Keep up the good work!
Wishing i can build something like that...
Have you built a 4X4 cart yet ?
Air filter pod is on a bad spot. Hitting any water would drowned it. But looks awesome and a smooth ride
Parabéns
Top o projeto.
How does your frame table not end up with dingleberrys all over it from the welding?
It is plasma nitrided coated it don't stick
Yoo i finally went to tractor supply and bought me a coleman ct200u ex yesterday and its so fun but needs to be faster
Idk if its just me, but it looks like it either loves to push through the corners or its just light in the front. Looking good though.
Also what animal did you scare away at 14:22? Looks to be running toward you 😂

Hey Redbeard, do you have a link for the ignition switch?
I melt my solder in the lugs like that but then I crimp it on with a hammer crimp.
Hey there red beard, just an overall question .how often do you go through belts on the 420cc motors with 40 series torque converter?
What tubing bender do you use?
Do you think I could use a 500 ninja Yamaha engine on my jerf dog. It won't be too much trouble with the gearing? Or would it be the same as a four-wheeler
