500mbs and 900mbs does give you option to have wifi 7 btw I’ve been looking at it. I also think you can add the wifi thing that’s included in over gig plans to lower plans just costs.
Is it true that even if your on EE part fiber 67 package you can get the pro wifi 7 router for an additional £10 a month if you need stronger wifi signal or have devices like a 4K streaming box that's supporting wifi 6E or 7 as unfortunately the smart hub plus tops out at wifi 6?
We think it is possible, best to proceed through the checkout process and see if there's an option when you're buying - it can vary over time depending on how much stock they have.
Hi. Is it possible to turn off the built in DHCP server on this router and the standard Smart Hub Plus? I'm hoping, if I swap to EE, I can run my own local DHCP server to get around not being able to change DNS on the hub itself. Thanks!
I’m in a house share and the houses current WiFi is BT and it’s awful. Can I get this for my own personal WiFi for my room just for me? Or do I need engineer to fit stuff? Thanks
You'd need to use the broadband port and an engineer visit may be necessary. You might like to look at the Three 4G Hub or 5G Hub, they allow you to do this. We have reviews of both on our channel.

@General_internet_use_only this router doesn't take a SIM card, it's for full fibre connections.

From looking through the settings we don't think disabling DHCP is possible unfortunately.

I’m considering EE 1gb service but does the smart hub pro have Wi-Fi 7? It appears we wants to sell a smart wifi pro unit to get wifi 7…
The Smart Hub Pro has WiFi 7.
Does Smart Hub Pro WiFi 7 able to work with the 500mbs package?
Yes, it'll work.
Can I buy this router and pop in an unlimited data SIM card and use it in my static caravan as normal ?
No, this router requires a fibre broadband connection. You're looking for a 4G/5G router.
@ thank you 🙏🏼
Why do EE routers WiFi fluctuate randomly?
We haven't had that experience.
Which is better, the EE Smart Hub Pro or the Vodafone Ultra Hub Pro II?
EE's has better WiFi, Vodafone's is less locked down with regards to settings like custom DNS.
