There are lot of insights from Santhosh but it was too difficult for people to understand his ideas. They will complain like why this restaurant doesn't have coke and all. But once they understood kolapasi will have global credibility.

Casually started watching. Didnt feel great. 20mins went. Then it suddenly struck in my mind. This is not a video, this is a lesson.
Went back to the start and started watching again, this time with a pen and notebook. Paused whenever he was giving valuable tips, and wrote them it the notebook.
After a long time watching 1 hr video on a full stretch. That's a great lesson.

This is the first time I am getting introduced to Santosh though I might have heard abt ‘Kolapasi’…earlier..As Santosh mentioned.., he is a great philosopher n teacher… Nobody would explain these terms-business.., start up.., business model etc so well and in lay man’s terms… Thoroughly enjoyed it!! How to prioritize things..etc.
So yes.., once u start progressing in a start up or business…, expansion is most important.
I think Saravana Bhavan was one of them to achieve this many many yrs ago itself…Few of others are A2B.., Anjapar.., Thalapakattu etc but.., not so much internationally may b.. But.., going ‘chef less’ like a McDonalds or KFC model is a great step for an Indian restaurant industry…So.., great going Santosh!! And surely.., as he mentioned.. if there is an idea which you/we feel is good.., we won’t be able to sit quiet..it won’t let us sit quiet.. So.., passion n interest must b there and if it is really big and worthy.., then you will be driven to take risks…and even family n relatives..,,friends will support.. Great points.. superb eye opener..👏👏🙏and good thoughts on networking and ‘purple’ cow concept also…And what he mentioned abt a job.. totally changed my view.. Exactly.., it’s a place where you can learn to become an entrepreneur without having to invest anything.Clearly shows how a middle class person had a great idea.., has worked up hard to rise up ethically n morally without having to sell his own core values( not selling water or Pepsi or coke.., great thing)…and is building million dollar empire globally..clearly shows.. Yes it's available in more continents. Kollapasi is not a restaurant based, franchise based business. A2B, Saravanan bhavan mostly owned their restaurants. That's is huge achievement. Eater eats ambience, mobile phone and so many other things, but not food.
Hence anything you can prepare with good presentation, it is a million dollar business.
When we corrupt growing, processing, cooking, eating then it is a big business.
Putting all eggs in one basket may not be the best choice every time. This is his perspective and all of us are entitled to our own as long it is backed by logic.

I think Rahul looked and talked more composed and enterprising than Santhosh 🙂 Just speaking out what I saw.... Some instance when he used crunched and precise words to support Santhosh on long sentences like "MVP"..... He was spot on as well in asking sharp questions such as "How do you identify next curve and ideas when you dont have or know present problems in the current system" though Santhosh was around the bush on his answers.... Also Santhosh mentioned he runs it without Chefs but he has never told how its done without Chef. It surely is not a secret as anyone at his franchise can find out yet he missed on core crux of his explanation. Somehow I see the so called "Young entrepreneurs" (assumed) get into a kind of body language or try and elevate themselves to certain levels inspite of maturity yet to be reached. I see very little humbleness on quick spikers. Not sure if they have already risen to such levels of maturity yet. Also in most of the conversation, I see Santhosh only beating around the bush and not straight to his answer. He sure is someone with lots of pooling thoughts and ideas but oration and delivery of speech is garbled a bit and not straight. At many instance he tried to only talk about his ideas his walkthroughs and businesses and correct course of the question asked by Rahul instead of answering to the point. Just with a pinch of salt and kind advise - if you are speaking at forums santhosh a small advise be precise and as well shrink your entrepreneuric body language as it looks artificial most times.... My humble feedback.
