Thanks a lot, with this set I have finally been able to beat it. I would strongly suggest to have health regen on your weapon to offset the damage you take due to the safi armor. Other than that this guide is an excellent starting point.

Opened the game and did it first try lol. You helped a lot man.
Honestly one of the best guides ever. Most of them its all this stuff that is like super hard to execute and also ("start this fight by equipping full fatalis gear and a couple alatreon parts...") Anyways, most of the guides, im like, anyone who could execute this has already beat him and doesnt need a guide. So thanks! also im a hammer main so unga bunga
Dude you are so good I thought you had to go for the head in order to break element, but looks like you can damage anywhere to get the message from the handler
Thank you so much for this! I already finished the game but with the help of random people😅 So basically all the monsters since Acidic Glav. to Fatalis, I’ve hunted them all with full party. Now that I have acquired all the jewels, weapons, and armor (fully upgraded them) I’m trying to slay them again SOLO. Alatreon is my second to last monster before finishing the game again solo.
Don't lose hope. You can do it! He is challenging but very fair. Learn to stay close to him and try to focus on hitting the front claws as much as possible.
Hopeless terrible players unite! It really sucks that I went dual blades in MHW lol, pretty hard to break parts with them... You always seem to need to break a horn or something in Iceborne and I'd have to have a TON of time where I'm able to hit the head to do what hammer and such can do in a hit or two. I'm decent with hammer... Kinda.. but I don't think I'm this decent... Oh well right? We'll get it bro. Comment here if you do! If I had live and we were on the same system, I'd totally rock it with you... It's dangerous to go alone, but you'll have to do it anyway! Hahaha
We totally should make some kind of shitty hunter support group XD. Shitty players unite, I like the idea. Yeah I Main LS or CB but he's just out of my league and damn he's fast too. I'm on ps4 and i have a hard time finding people who want to fight him at all.
@@fluffythereaper637 Maybe I should re-buy MHW on PS4 lol. I remember you didn't have to buy an online subscription at first for games but surely that's changed? If it hasn't I'm seriously going to consider buying it on PS4 lmao. I'd rather not have to keep up a live subscription on the chance I want to come back and hunt some stuff on world (very likely, been playing again after a hiatus recently, bound to happen again). I'm sick of being restricted to only solo, I've literally never gone on a hunt with another player.. When I did have live I was a noob, and just wanted to roll through the game solo. No luck for me. Once he changes back into ice I can’t meat the dps check for his third and fourth judgement. Only difference is I don’t have a kulve weapon.
I remembered when I was fighting against Alatreon, when I played that music called "Solaris Phase 2/Perfect Dark Gaia theme", I will change the music pitch every time if Alatreon shifts elements, watch: Ice Active: -1 Pitch Dragon Active: 0 Pitch Fire Active: +1 Pitch And then I will start that music with a +1 Pitch only at (3:19), then I changed the music Pitch into 0, at (6:24 / 8:36), and then change the music pitch back into a +1 within (7:17).
Really says a lot when the thing that makes this boss difficult is a single move. The entire time you’re fighting you just pray you can do enough damage to nerf his giant bomb and MAYBE survive it. The rest of his moveset is fine and challenging. But Escaton Judgement has always been overkill frankly.
Not fun for me... I'm kinda pulling my hair out at how hectic it is. Making the dps check seems so difficult. It's like I only have a minute and a half before he goes to dragon...
@@dredgengam4610 what weapon are you using? I used the best ice weapon I could make and I was using hammer so I really had to time it properly. Not played for a while though so I don't know how things are now in the game

almost all of his moves leave him open to being punished after, so be ready for those openings. Try looking at some speedruns of your weapon to get an idea of how to respond to moves that give you trouble
@@Freshomania is this for baby Alatreon or proper DDS Alatreon? There are almost no openings for him. Also is it harder to get the second element check? that always seems to take so long half the time i cant get it because of the same fing reasons above...
What makes him easier to solo is that you can still have lives even after falling to escaton judgement. If you fail the dps check with a full team its a guaranteed loss. Bad game design imo, but then again all these forced MP hunt mechanics particularly 1HKO moves suck in a franchise that never did it previously.
I’m pretty sure if you look to MH Frontier, you’ll find a few 1HKO moves. But yeah, that is pretty bad game design, at least for the other monsters they actually gave you some form of cover to escape the damage.
@@kiksiidiriiksii7194 A dps check that is pretty doable solo should be such a cakewalk with a full group, regardless of the increased health. I know it doesn't increase 100% per person, so you're expected to do less damage while having more people to life powder, take pressure off of you, trip, flinch shot, break horns.. I mean the benefits are countless. The only people I could see complaining about this must really be awful... I love a good challenge. I only play solo and I haven't beaten him yet (only tried once because I was late to the party and Rise came out so I dropped world for a little while..), but that's totally ok with me! So much better than Rise where I'm bored out of my mind after breezing through the game... There's a reason I'm back at playing Iceborne.. but I guess there were so many things easier about Rise than just a lack of hard bosses... Quite a long list of things actually.

But any hammer bro’s under master rank 100 try this cause it’s a decent alternative
Yes, that would be a good build. I also recommend adding some evasion and blight resistance if you plan on using a heavy weapon like the Hammer or Great Sword if you can spare the slots.
@@TwiliteTA im try ice but idk iv tryed this quest 73 times and failed ever time ill try ice though its a really dumb way to make him its a lazy way to make it a hard monster
I have almost 400h in this game and I still don't do real DMG It's just so much to take in account, the stupid tenderize, the timer, the dodging, hitting right spots.. I don't understand why making it so hard
I personally prefer getting my ass kicked using SnS. On ground it goes relatively well. I get the timing for a few good perfect rushes in, but I can never fling alatreon out of flying mode. Hard to get the timing and aim proper. Especially with the short window between attacks.
Thanks for the guide, im one step closer to killing this biatch. This is, however, easily the most BS boss ive ever faced; total BS element check. i just got the right weapons, made sure i can break the horns and get the DPS checks BUT i still went through 4 escatons and still it wont die... its driving me nuts
If you can get the elemental check and can break the horns, you will definitely defeat him. Just clean-up the unnecessary carts or damage taken and you will win. Good luck dude, you got this!
Is it really smoother to use safi set than true crit element set for someone learning this fight? TBH I'd be more likely to recommend a standard TCE set.
Is this still up to date with the build and can u use dragon instead becuse i got him once with a squad and i wana solo him but i had a trash build with raw damage and they did the element cap
You need to meet the elemental damage threshold to have a chance to survive Escaton. Breaking the horns just prevents him from switching to the opposite element.
Is wounding it necessary? I do enough elemental damage to topple it without wounding it, since LS drops slinger ammo, and I break the horns, but alatreon was still going and it ended up doing a total of 5 escatons on me. Was it still alive because I wasn't attacking weakened parts?
Wounding is not "required" but it helps you do more damage overall. If you find yourself doing enough damage to weaken the Escaton but not enough to get the kill, try using a weapon with a bit more raw attack. Hope this helps.
The armor set is more a "suggestion" than a requirement to be able to solo this boss. If you have trouble getting the Safi gear, you can use try Arch-tempered Namielle set and use Frostfang Barioth weapons, it won't be as easy as using Safi gear but with a little practice you can do it! The key is learning how to punish his many openings. Hope this helps.
I don't care at all about Escaton Judgement. I want to know how to do enough damage to weaken his element and I have a Kjarr weapon and cannot do it because I don't have enough openings on him.
You have to break the horn before he switches elements. You can only break the horn when he's in Dragon phase. If he gets to Ice before you pass the elemental check, don't worry, keep attacking! Even if you end up carting once to Escaton you still do regular damage. Keep trying, you can do it!
It goes like this. Starts in Fire, then switches to Dragon then uses Escaton then switches to Ice. In order to survive you need to do 2 things. During fire phase, do as much elemental DPS as you can to "weaken his elemental power". Once you do enough damage then he'll fall down and your handler will say something like "You've weaken Alatreon's power". Keep attacking while he's down. Eventually he'll switch to Dragon phase. During that phase, you need to break one of his horns and that will prevent him from switching to Ice element after he does Escaton. You can only prevent him from switching to Ice 2 times during the fight because you can only break 2 horns. After the 3rd Escaton, you cannot stop him from switching to Ice. You need to kill him before the 3rd Escaton or you'll cart at least once. It's not the end of the world however, as long as you were doing good and didn't cart during regular fight, you can still do it. Just keep trying, you can do it!
I'm quite bothered. I'm trying so hard to get his moves down. Maybe my problem is that I'm stubbornly clinging to my charge blade. I admit, I'm horrible with a hammer, so I thought I could get away with what I know as long as I put extra frost attack on it. Damn was I wrong. I get a few licks in... But the thing is, it feels like the window of opportunity before he switches to dragon is short lived.
How tf are you surving the judgment? My friend and i broke the horn and it still wiped us out even with the jerky and health booster. This fight is ass.
I know I’m very late, but bro, I don’t have ps+ and can’t do safi multiplayer, but I managed to get 3 pieces of safi armor solo… do you have any recommendations?
Is this doable with a full raging brachy set? And beo hatchets? I never did the safi stuff just actually started it earlier and I don't have any master rank kulve weapons
If you're still trying, I can reliably get the ele tumble with beo hatchets but the damage output is so bad and breaking the horns with dual blades is miserable
I doubt that the weapon choice matters much. I did solo Alatreon without armor, which means no offensive skills like weakness exploit or crit boost, and getting instakilled by everything, obviously. I seriously have no idea how anyone could still struggle with all the tools the game offers.
@@TwiliteTA The fight itself is just kinda dumb... I did manage to beat it, I could have brute forced it as I've played a lot of MH in the past but to me, this entire fight goes against what MH allows for a hunter to be. A hunter isn't just one type of player. This fight forces you to play like a speed runner. Some hunters like the idea of playing a little more reserved, timing openings, waiting for the monsters to tire themselves out. This one makes you sit in the line of fire to attack the front legs and head. If you don't, you probably won't pass the checks. I'm aware they have the easy quest but still, the same applies there too. If you don't play the fight the way they want you to, you fail. That isn't true Monster Hunter. The hunts are puzzles but all of them, outside of this one, have multiple solutions that can be devised differently from every different player allowing everyone to have a unique experience. This hunt, offers everyone the same experience. A painful, rude, do or die design (literally). He is a cool monster, I love the remixed theme, his attacks are intimidating and then.... He has judgement... Why? I enjoy every hunt in the game except for Behemoth and Alatreon. All of them can be worked around and played with finesse. Behemoth tornado's just last too long. If they lasted 30 seconds, even a minute, ok not so bad but they are there for 3 or 5 minutes I don't even know. One attempt I couldn't even see anything. Granted I had to do the fight solo because I'm late to the game but still, it's just a dumb hunt. Alatreon unfortunately hits the same notes. Judgement makes it just that, a dumb hunt unfortunately. It's just a bonus that his gear sucks. Makes a dumb hunt a 1 and done.
Watched this this morning, after an evening of poor results trying this fight. Got as close to the build as I could. Killed myself every time before the Safi regen kicked in, but you are not taking damage when swinging like I did. Not sure what is different. Today's attempts were worse than yesterday's. Skill issue, I am sure.
Keep practicing! You can do it! And of course it goes without saying, try to make sure you land your hits. Sadly with this build, everytime you swing and miss, you get punished. I do have a different video with a non-Safi build you can try if this doesn't seem to be working for you. Good luck!
@@TwiliteTA Thanks. Tried that one as well. No better. Fight is pointless for me. Hassle is not worth the reward. If I'm not good enough after 400 hours, it is never going to happen.
That still includes Safi. Try Arc Tempered Namielle Armor with a Frostfang Barioth Weapon. It’ll be a little harder but it’s about as good as it’s going to get.
I'm in a slightly awkward situation: I don't have Kjarr hammer ice (630 ice). I also can't craft frostfang barioth hammer (660 ice) cause I missed the event (why does it has to be an event!?). This leaves me with legiana hammer (510 ice) and velkhana hammer (330 ice). I tried with velkhana hammer with no success. I may have better luck with legiana hammer but I think I should just wait for frosthfang barioth to come back.
If Escaton is what's killing you then you can try Legiana but you have to make sure you can break the horns on the dragon phase. An easy way to do that is to make sure you yeet him into a wall or out of the sky after you wound the horns. That does A TON of part damage
@@TwiliteTA I finally beat Alatreon with legiana hammer. But that wasn't easy at all. The critical element brought by Kjarr hammer is really critical, as it gives 1.5x elemental damage on proc. I have to swap out 2 pieces of safi set for the velkhana set to get the critical element. Then I have to use WEX to make up some lost affinity.
so to sum it up: safi armor needed, kjarr weapon fully upgraded needed, a ton of luck on alatreons moves cuz he can run around the whole time without you even getting a chance to rly hit him. and dont get me started about how lucky u was he didnt made an ice finisher cuz then your elemntal dmg would be zero. and regardless of the moves he does u still need to beat kulve tarroth and safi multiple times and that most of the times with random players who are at a 80% chance completly useless. alatreon isnt meant to be made as a solo player as most late game monsters like kulve, safi, fatalis are so you trying ito ver and over again and posting the one positive try wihtout saying how mayn times u had to try doesnt rly help anybody
I'm sorry the video doesn't help you dude. Alatreon is not very hard actually.. He's different but not hard. I've beaten him completely naked so the armor in the video is just a suggested set to make the fight absolutely trivial. Either way, I hope you can beat him soon.
@@TwiliteTA doesnt change the FACT that when alatreaon changes to the element u are using u do no element dmg and cant survive the next ult he does so its still luck based. even that u were able to put him on the ground multiple times in this video needs alatraon to make the right moves to give u the time window needed to shot him which normaly isnt there
@@danielmosmann8965 It's not luck based at all. You can prevent him from switching to Ice by breaking a horn during the dragon phase. You can prevent him from switching to Ice up to 2 times during the fight because you can break the horn 2 times. Just follow the guide and learn how to punish the many openings he gives you and you will definitely defeat him. I believe in you.
so lets go through it. when u beat the element the first time, befor the first ult, he lays down and u can get a full streak on the head which is wounded in the best case but that wont break a horn. if he flies its constatnly hard to get him down even with the mantles on just because his movement sucks. dont get me wrong it is possible as you have shown but its not easy at all. and after the ult he has a 2/3 chance to change the element making u either do no or less element dmg. so he needs to change again which most likly takes enough time for us to not be able to survive the next ult and depending on your abilitys the quest most likly stops here
@@danielmosmann8965 Bro.. even though my name isn't really Daniel I'm still getting embarrassed that I share a fake name with you... I realize this was eight months ago but hot damn you needed a chill pill. Hopefully you've acquired one since then? All of these questions you were asking were addressed in the video... He starts as fire, do as much element damage as possible to break the element. Once element is broken continue damage. After a bit he will switch to dragon element, this is the time when you will then NEED to break his horn the first time so he cannot switch to ice. Continue exploiting openings and owning him until he escatons, at which point you will start from the beginning with fire, then dragon, gotta break the element of course, break the horn in dragon to prevent the ice switch.... At this point you NEED to do enough damage to finish him off before he switches from fire to dragon, and then enough time elapses where he would then switch to ice because you don't have a third horn to break! Easy! Anything else outside of misunderstanding that is a you problem. I haven't even beaten him still (only tried him once so far though) yet I was able to get it? Waaaat?? If I hadn't mained DBs and it wasn't so hard to break horns with them I'd be whooping on him RN. Instead I'm temporarily switching to hammer lol.
You can use 3 piece Safi, just keep in mind that the affinity bonus and health recovery bonus you get from 5 pieces is WAY better so that why I recommend the full set. Also, the reason Kulve weapons are so good is because of the "Critical Element" skill they give. If you want to use Frostfang, I recommend 2 pieces of Velkhana and 3 pieces of Safi to ensure you get the Critical element skill. You can do it! Good luck!
@@lordbruh3307 You don't need that much element to beat the element threshold. If you're going with Fire, maybe try Silver Rathalos LS. That should work better.
@@joaquincurat4027 Yes. You can only prevent him from switching to the opposite element twice during the hunt. Even if he switches element on you and you no longer do elemental damage, don't give up, keep fighting! edit: i had stopped trying it for today. But suddenly wanted to try again. Opened the game and did it first try lol. You helped a lot man.
Well I’m out on plan part one I still need to figure out how to farm safi with wanting to grievously harm people during and after the hut fails...
I know I'm late... But dang, you make it look so easy. I haven't killed him to this day, I'm simply a hopeless terrible player and I'm losing hope XD
Can you still play some online games without buying PS+ I don't remember because it's been so long since I played my PS4... and I only played the single player exclusives, because I have an Xbox one X and only a base PS4...
Now I'm still a noob, nothing's changed there, but I want to do the end game content.... not solo! Lol
I should probably just buck up and buy live huh...
@@danielnelson4881 only a few games work without plus but world needs the subscription sadly. I mean, the monthly games are totally worth it but it's still kinda annoying. Yeah I get you, playing solo is no fun. I didn't played it for a while in favor of ghost of tsushima but its calling me back, it's one of the few games that are a ton of fun to me
No luck for me. Once he changes back into ice I can’t meat the dps check for his third and fourth judgement. Only difference is I don’t have a kulve weapon.
I am well late, but return to world happened and i came back... You helped me finally beat him
Minimal skill required? Seems perfect for me
I remembered when I was fighting against Alatreon, when I played that music called "Solaris Phase 2/Perfect Dark Gaia theme", I will change the music pitch every time if Alatreon shifts elements, watch:
Ice Active: -1 Pitch
Dragon Active: 0 Pitch
Fire Active: +1 Pitch
And then I will start that music with a +1 Pitch only at (3:19), then I changed the music Pitch into 0, at (6:24 / 8:36), and then change the music pitch back into a +1 within (7:17).
I took a shot each time u said "you know"
I ended up in the hospital i also want to say i was there since you released the video, crazy night
Thanks for making it understandable and easy!
Thanks man, just beat him about 20 mins ago. So satisfying. Quite a fun fight aswell when you start to understand the openings
I love you fam. It my people gives guides like this one
I just cant kill this thing no matter what i do(Used this exact build plus others) ive soloed eveything but behemoth, fatalis( havent tried yet) and this A hole. he either combos me to death or he runs around SO much i cant get the damage check on him in time....what am i missing?
almost all of his moves leave him open to being punished after, so be ready for those openings. Try looking at some speedruns of your weapon to get an idea of how to respond to moves that give you trouble
@@Freshomania is this for baby Alatreon or proper DDS Alatreon? There are almost no openings for him. This Monster makes no sense. hes flying endlessly (flash or not) he then runs up and down the areana SO much you barley do any damage AND if you cart ONCE, your done...if you havent gotten the element check before, your fked and if you did you wont get enough time for the horn break...if you can even get to the horn.
Personally I use 3 safi and 2 raging brach then max crit and agitator and to make up for the fact I can’t get regen yet I get vitality up but after editing it slightly I broke both horns but got carted when I was so close. But any hammer bro’s under master rank 100 try this cause it’s a decent alternative
great guide but tired getting dragon blighted, it's too hard to get the openings for the head
Öne of the best guide i have ever seen Man love your video, keep us posted
Bro I shut this thing every single time down but it has too mutch health. I break also every time his horns
Same he got way too much health it’s kinda rediculous
Bro it’s a black dragon what do you expect?
You are the goat opening my eyes to evasion once more I soloed AT elder dragons before iceborne with evasion 2
Is it a good idea to use the silver rath set for crit element + palico rally + frostfang weapon?
Yes, that would be a good build. I also recommend adding some evasion and blight resistance if you plan on using a heavy weapon like the Hammer or Great Sword if you can spare the slots.
@@TwiliteTA Thanks dude, guess I just need a bit of ability to kill it on time :/
i normally dont comment on any youtube vids. Out of all the guides, yours worked best for me.
this video was very helpful, can you do one on fatalis?
I'm have over 800 dragon element max crit eye and max crit damage so idk what to do this quest is making me think about quiting ):
If escaton judgement is what's carting you, try ice instead of Dragon. Don't give up! You can do it!
@@TwiliteTA im try ice but idk iv tryed this quest 73 times and failed ever time ill try ice though its a really dumb way to make him its a lazy way to make it a hard monster
I have almost 400h in this game and I still don't do real DMG
It's just so much to take in account, the stupid tenderize, the timer, the dodging, hitting right spots..
I can get pass the elemental check, but I cannot kill him before his 3rd transformation.
If you can pass the elemental check, you can beat him. Don't give up!
@@TwiliteTA haha, easier said than done... but yeah ill get it eventually... Thanks man!
Is it really smoother to use safi set than true crit element set for someone learning this fight? TBH I'd be more likely to recommend a standard TCE set.
i constantly get knocked off him when i try to grapple him in the air how tf
The most underrated skill in this set is palico rally.
Is this still up to date with the build and can u use dragon instead becuse i got him once with a squad and i wana solo him but i had a trash build with raw damage and they did the element cap
even after breaking both his horns, escaton still kills me in half a second or so. What do i do?
You need to meet the elemental damage threshold to have a chance to survive Escaton. Breaking the horns just prevents him from switching to the opposite element.
Thanks for the info :D. short and to the point
Better quality content here than some other bigger channels, give this man your sub ;D
I always survive the fight but I can never do enough elemental DMG with my CB
I haven’t beaten safi and KT yet but I might try this with divine blessing 5 since i failed miserably with bowguns
@@TwiliteTA Thank you for the advice. I think I'm going to try and make up for my lack of raw damage by utilizing flinch shots more often
Isn't there a guide that doesn't require safi or any ps+ armor/weapon????
The armor set is more a "suggestion" than a requirement to be able to solo this boss. If you have trouble getting the Safi gear, you can use try Arch-tempered Namielle set and use Frostfang Barioth weapons, it won't be as easy as using Safi gear but with a little practice you can do it! The key is learning how to punish his many openings. Hope this helps.
Ah, you see this is the kinda thing I was looking for. This helps a lot! Thank you!
Awesome vid man. Helps to visualise it. Thank you!
I'm totally late but u give me a hope now 😢
I don't care at all about Escaton Judgement. I want to know how to do enough damage to weaken his element and I have a Kjarr weapon and cannot do it because I don't have enough openings on him.
Would you say frostbite hammer is a good hammer for this
But what if he changes element to ice, and you can’t pass the elemental check?
You have to break the horn before he switches elements. You can only break the horn when he's in Dragon phase. If he gets to Ice before you pass the elemental check, don't worry, keep attacking! Even if you end up carting once to Escaton you still do regular damage. Keep trying, you can do it!
@@TwiliteTA what im confused about is that he switched to ice even though i broke his horns. He just refuses to stay in fire active
@@TwiliteTA ok ok, so break horns before he can switch then dish out enough damage to kill him after the second escaton?
@@anthonycrowder1360 Exactly!
can the frostfang barrioth hammer work instead of the kjarr hammer?
Yes
I'm quite bothered. I'm trying so hard to get his moves down. Maybe my problem is that I'm stubbornly clinging to my charge blade. I admit, I'm horrible with a hammer, so I thought I could get away with what I know as long as I put extra frost attack on it. Damn was I wrong. I get a few licks in... But the thing is, it feels like the window of opportunity before he switches to dragon is short lived.
How tf are you surving the judgment? My friend and i broke the horn and it still wiped us out even with the jerky and health booster. This fight is ass.
The fight itself isn’t really hard but the lack of mobility on your character in this game isn’t really meant for bosses like this tbh
I know I’m very late, but bro, I don’t have ps+ and can’t do safi multiplayer, but I managed to get 3 pieces of safi armor solo… do you have any recommendations?
Try this build instead.

Hope this helps. Good luck!
Is this doable with a full raging brachy set? And beo hatchets? I never did the safi stuff just actually started it earlier and I don't have any master rank kulve weapons
@Ali Solmaz thanks for this man! Cheers and happy hunting I'm going to go try this now!
@@Lucifer-hq5pe oh wow we got a badass over here
@@hansennoah1 Well, certainly badass enough to do Alatreon naked. Which not many can say of themselves.

Its still not possible to me :( i rebuild your set but i cant beat it
Didn't work. The problem with hammer is it doesn't dps fast enough to pass the check. You're better off switching to gun and using ammo.
I do I get health regen on my hammer?
@@obywan7901 You can obtain the materials from the Guiding Lands
What about the people who don't have Safi armor
That still includes Safi. Try Arc Tempered Namielle Armor with a Frostfang Barioth Weapon. It’ll be a little harder but it’s about as good as it’s going to get.
Dude, this it's the Best explication on how to do it. Amazing
I cant play online and i didn't want to farm safi solo so had to do this with yian Garuga armor and stygian zinogre dual blades

Drink every time he says "y'know". Godspeed.
Does your MR matter when doing solo? I keep dieing 😞
@@amazoneyhifive6915 MR is just a number 😞
@@Valmanway307 Congrats dude. I'm glad you were able adapt and make adjustments to the build. That make you a good hunter.
Is It better to do solo or with team
It can get frustrating with a team if everyone isn't pulling their weight. Solo is generally "safer" but not necessarily easier.
Thanks
so to sum it up: safi armor needed, kjarr weapon fully upgraded needed, a ton of luck on alatreons moves cuz he can run around the whole time without you even getting a chance to rly hit him. and dont get me started about how lucky u was he didnt made an ice finisher cuz then your elemntal dmg would be zero. and regardless of the moves he does u still need to beat kulve tarroth and safi multiple times and that most of the times with random players who are at a 80% chance completly useless. alatreon isnt meant to be made as a solo player as most late game monsters like kulve, safi, fatalis are so you trying ito ver and over again and posting the one positive try wihtout saying how mayn times u had to try doesnt rly help anybody
La ptm siempre el pinche set de safi en todos los vídeos que he buscado
How do u do that spin thing?
Does anyone recommend using gunlance on him?
But sometimes, the super nova downs your life muuuuch more faster!!! Even one time was impossible to have time to eat the Jerky!! wtf!?!
That would have to do with your base and fire element resistances. Make sure to upgrade your armor completely.
Yooo thank you fr!!!!!
So is full safi set needed or does 3 set work too? Also is frostfang better than the kulve weapons?
You can use 3 piece Safi, just keep in mind that the affinity bonus and health recovery bonus you get from 5 pieces is WAY better so that why I recommend the full set. Also, the reason Kulve weapons are so good is because of the "Critical Element" skill they give. If you want to use Frostfang, I recommend 2 pieces of Velkhana and 3 pieces of Safi to ensure you get the Critical element skill. You can do it! Good luck!
@@TwiliteTA alright, thanks for the help!

@@lordbruh3307 You don't need that much element to beat the element threshold. If you're going with Fire, maybe try Silver Rathalos LS. That should work better.

I almost had him... but he changed to ice element without his hornes...fml...
Same, I don’t understand that and how he changed to ice despite having both horns broken. Is it because we couldn’t kill him in time??
@@joaquincurat4027 Yes. You can only prevent him from switching to the opposite element twice during the hunt. @@TwiliteTA ohhh now I get it. Yeah I know, the problem Is that I keep dying early in the fight in very dumb ways. I have to be alive for longer and I will be able to do it because I tend to pass most if not every dps check. Thanks for the comment and the video
You know that monster does not act like that now. He is extremely fast and has no chill
He reacts to your playstyle. Try not to play too defensively and stay close to him and you will see a difference. Hope this helps.
Using words like "simple and easy is so aggrivating to hear when your on your 47th attempt and 150 deaths in and still dying to his phase one. This monster is just not fair at all. Evertime you clutch claw it perfeclty counters. Everytime it hits you kight as well just stop playing coz the next attack is undodgeable. So tempted tp just stop playing, love this game so much but stuff like this is just not fun for a casual player.
Try not to worry about using the tenderizing mechanic in this fight unless you have a clear opening. You honestly don't need it if you focus on hitting the head or the front claws. Sorry you're having a hard time. Try to be patient and learn some of his openings to counter-attack and you'll be able to beat him. Good luck!
I do all that the horns are broken but the damd thing wownt die but i use lance
Well in the mother earth, look at those items, nearly not million but Billions of caotings and items in the laodout.
How to beat with out Safi jiva gear since ppl can't do online
silver rath or namiell with kjar ice and fire weapons or something with high elemental damage there are a few and if you do it solo you can cart a few times so it can be done just make sure you have mantels.
Also you can farm safi and him four parts with pluder blade long but you can potentially get stuff like this.
Seems like Safi gear is requirement to even break Alatreons element.
