Milwaukee Pack Out pop up tent? Would love all my camping gear in Pack out containers. Cooler, tent, cook ware, tools, etc. Be so easy to set up and break down, and then store for the next trip.

I had NO idea Klein has these tools, such as the gas testers - very cool. Thanks for the heads up Doc!

I really like how inexpensive a lot of their stuff is for pretty great value. Their thermal imager is great for standard indoor things like heat sources or even wet spots behind walls. But have you really been able to use it outdoors to detect animals? The range on it is really short. Really love that they are expanding their product lines, they seem to only make good quality stuff.

I could use a good local portable weather station. Temp, humidity, pressure, etc. Most small weather stations are cheap crap. I've owned several and they all failed early. A good, rugged, Klein weather station would be great for traveling, camping, keep in your vehicle, etc. It could also play the NOAA marine radio weather stations.

Imo it would make sense for Klein to make some solar generators. They could be marketed as a way to keep their tools charged for the tradesmen who already use their products and could appeal to outdoorsman as well.

I remember Black and Decker used to use Firestorm branding for power tools

It seems to me that Klein is known for insulated tools for electrical work. If I had the task of marketing for their outdoor line, I would use the classic Klein black rubber and yellow translucent screwdriver colors to make insulated products for keeping warm/cool for the hands first. Maybe not gloves/apparel, but other tools like saws, vehicle recovery gear, camp kitchen tools, and accessories. It seems strange that the first items that pop up on an amazon search for KLEIN BLACKFIRE are flashlights and bluetooth speakers. Those types of items are so plentiful today that the competition is probably higher than most any other rechargeable electronic category out there. It seems to me that Klein needs some items that are totally different and innovative, not just another dime a dozen item with Klein branding on it. I agree with you that BLACKFIRE is not the best name. Autocorrect even sees it as backfire if I don't put it in all caps.

Where are the Wright tools wrenches and contour grip ratchets on the channel doc? Best in the business! Hell Milwaukee liked the contour grip so much they copied It. In all seriousness I would like to seeWright on the channel tho as their impact sockets, standard 12pt combination wrench line can’t be beat imo ..and undoubtedly hang with or best even snap on frequently.

BLACKFIRE is such poor branding. I think most Klein tools fans have never heard of it. And I don’t know anyone in the outdoor/camping scene who uses/has heard of their products. If Klein is serious about this line they need to get it in camping stores and on the trails because I’ve never once seen it in the woods. I do wonder why they can’t brand their outdoor gear under the Klein name? BLACKFIRE sounds like an Amazon ripoff, and since they clearly haven’t put much effort into marketing the brand most of their products just appear to be fake Klein tools on first glance. Is there some reason a piece of Klein outdoor equipment, with such a strong brand, wouldn’t sell?

I decided to all-cap the name in the video title because I kept reading it as Backfire.

I couldn’t agree more. If it ain’t Klein it ain’t mine, but I never heard of no black fire before

It looks like the Blackfire products also have the Klein label, so it's not a total loss.

Klein is in De-klein. I just bought a pair of klein needle nose pliers at Lowes a couple of days ago. All of the screwdrivers they had are made overseas. The pliers said forged in the usa of us steel. The tips don't even match up & they have a serios amount of slop. I looked at the back of the package & it said finished in mexico. Bye bye klein. Never again.
