Have you seen the Big Ideas Design Ti EDS, a folding bit driver? It costs £130 here which comes out at $160, and in the US it's well over $100. That's probably the best general EDC pocket bit driver but I'm not paying that, I can buy a Swisstool MX with pocket clip and one handed opening blade for that money. This costs £60, $80 in the US so it's not that steep. Those cheapy £15/$20 impulse buys are a bit of gratification but honestly if I'd held back on those, which end up in a junk drawer and don't get used, I'd at least have enough to buy this driver. Having said that it's a wee bit bigger than I'd want for general pocket EDC, I want something that takes up half a 5th pocket, next to a Bic lighter. Actually I do have a couple of solutions for that which I'm very happy with and which weren't too expensive, the Sabrecut mini ratchet which also works as a good inline driver, and the Wera 813 bit driver handle.
5:22 I got this tool from a Taiwanese coworker. Now, I use it with regular Hex bits AND precision bits! Also, it has the built-in Magnet to secure bits. It's Lovely Lovely tool!
yep, was able to get the Lollypop Bit Driver but it took 16 days to get here from Taiwan so much of their stuff is currently unavailable not that 711L has lost to begin with but so far I am happy with the Lollypop Bit Driver going to use it on my next build
Iv seen a couple of their products and thought I need to grab some of these tools as I’m a maintenance technician and all of these would come in handy. It wasn’t till your video that I fully saw how functional they are so I’m gonna grab me some! Thank you!
Dude, that Lollipop driver is the nuts (poker term). Just 42g and 3.8" in aluminum. Acts like a silent in-line ratchet but has that extra leverage L handle up its sleeve to get things started or torque things down. The perfect EDC pocket screwdriver.
I bought the bit extender and added it to my Sunex mini driver/socket set in place of the extension that came with it that did not hold quarter hex bits.
Should look into Fix It Sticks. They’re basically firearm tools for maintenance and or gun smithing. They have some pretty sweet little torque drivers I’ve been looking at. Obviously their use goes well beyond the marketed use
1:00..I made my purchase of this set based on your 1st video ... when I received it I noticed that seam across the bottom and wasn't sure if it was a defect but I messed around with it and pulled it opened and thought exactly like you, That just makes it even better ... is a great set from Vessel...👍 5:22... really nice Doc.. that's a great little, innovative tool... 7:45... drill taps...not a gimmick.. they work great...
5-6 nm for stem bolts would be most likely bike part to need precise tightening on the road. Check out the feedback sports torque stick for better range and ease in reading.
Seen a 3 way wrench some African guy was using to work on his Corolla . It was so simple yet he was able to efficiently get his sensor off. It had 3 common sizes to get the bolts off and I want one like that for my Corolla now . A car edc if you will
Those Lollipop screwdrivers are really great for edc. I wonder if they would be able to fit Wihás dual-headed (stubby) bits> I am desperately looking for one extension that can use it, so i could attach to whatever i want....
They are definitely beautiful ❤️ What I love the most is the torque adapter, I've been looking for the longest time trying to find a racheting adapter similar to the torque adapter which would allow me to use it with different tools and not be stuck on one screwdriver.
Sadly, the "711L Hex Bit and Socket 2 in 1 Extension I Swap Sockets in For Screwdriver Bits With A Flick of Fingers (One Handed)" appears to be unavailable either side of the Atlantic :( I even searched for it other places, and I've not found them anywhere :(
great review, gotta get a Lollipop Set but... they're sold out right now, probably your fault posting this video 🤪 happened with another product I recently got, had to wait nearly two months... 😐
T-handles ARE the best... L- handles not symmetrical, uneven teeter-tottery turning. They're like those compact ,swiss-army type allen set...cute but never ideal.
Torx are my second most commonly needed bits. Usually high security. Power tool batteries, or just other random gadgets that *they* don't want you to take apart.
The Silca torque wrench is TERRIBLE! I had two of them fail. The torque driver would skip while tightening. And, as you mentioned, the torque gauge is basically unreadable. Fortunately, Silca refunded me.
what a surprise! a fool and his money are soon parted as they say in the bike industry... 😹 not that you're a fool but might have been swayed by their slick presentation and marketing. get the Effetto Mariposa, or better still, the Sandvik Coromant branded(model # 5764228) identical one used for decades in machine shops all over the world without problems that can be found on ebay regularly for cheap. same for their hex keys, get pb swiss, wiha or wera hex-plus. 😉
I can't wait to add them to my collection some day. I can't wait to see what 711L comes out with in the future.
They sure sell that lollipop wrench at the premium edc price. wouldn't mind having it but it exceeds the impulse buy level.
Most of the stuff on this channel exceeds that level
And after he reviews it… Amazon jacks prices up… crazy I wonder why
@@davidbreitwieser3591 he does put the links in the description so they probably know

Well, those are about the coolest little drivers I've ever seen. Thanks for sharing.

You are a daily watch for me! I love this channel! How are you storing all this? Have I missed a shop tour video?

I love all the great items you show us,and of course I buy a lot of them !
That screwdriver looks awesome.
Very cool to have a new brand like this come on the scene.
That lollipop screwdriver was awesome.

is a great set from Vessel...👍

I expected something more like the Wera where the pieces open apart in a V. That's why I missed it. Probably said how to do it on the packaging.
5-6 nm for stem bolts would be most likely bike part to need precise tightening on the road. Check out the feedback sports torque stick for better range and ease in reading.
Can’t remember a time my stem bolt, bar clamp or any pinch bolt came loose in 35 years of cycling.
Seen a 3 way wrench some African guy was using to work on his Corolla . It was so simple yet he was able to efficiently get his sensor off. It had 3 common sizes to get the bolts off and I want one like that for my Corolla now . A car edc if you will
Bought the lollipop screwdriver.edc it every day very fast, sometimes faster than using my Leatherman OHT.
I ordered one just last week. Shame it won't be here till March.
Lollipop ordered!! Thanks Doc, my wife is gonna kill me!😂
Doc you sold me on those vessel screwdrivers . Bought 2 since I been watching your videos . Thanks see you on next one .
The Vessel JIS screw drivers are the only way to go on Japanese motorcycles.
Those Lollipop screwdrivers are really great for edc.
I wonder if they would be able to fit Wihás dual-headed (stubby) bits>
I am desperately looking for one extension that can use it, so i could attach to whatever i want....
Another tiny torque driver is included with the Topeak Nano TorqBar X (2-6nm). Really like it so far.
They are definitely beautiful ❤️
What I love the most is the torque adapter, I've been looking for the longest time trying to find a racheting adapter similar to the torque adapter which would allow me to use it with different tools and not be stuck on one screwdriver.
I appreciate you tool presentation you are well prepared 👍🏻🇸🇪
Man jewlery.
the sloky torque adaptor is also sold by Anex, Sloky is a taiwanese OEM company I believe

Those torque bits are similar to the fixit sticks. I have no use for them but it’s shiny and cool 😅
Oh boy, these are really kid toys......in which i mean....limited use but they make you happy as a kid:)) Nice! :)
How did you get the brass version, it’s a beauty compare to the SSTEEL and Aluminum. love your show.
I want to know too!
@@handymangamer238looks like color anodized aluminum bro.
Are those proprietary bits that go in the 711L tool? Around 1:00 into video? What are those bits called?
The drivers all take standard 1/4 hex bits. The ones that come with it are just fancy with an anodized aluminum colored ring.
@@lastbesttool Thanks
How would I get a hold off that wee brass screwdriver. I'm from Northern Ireland
Lol I was dying when you said it wasn't planned
FYI, Fix-it Sticks has had the torque adapters for a while.
You didn't show the other side of the Silca torque tool, it has finer graduations.
Beautiful tools
great review, gotta get a Lollipop Set but...

Love the brass lollipop driver. I can’t find it brass ?
As much as I love the small company innovation of 711L, I think their designs are ready for a bigger company to scale up their production.
You didn't get back to the drill bits and I can't find them online
That fat band around the bits would stop you being able to access some screws which are recessed down holes.
I wonder why Amazon says that lollipop wrench can't be delivered to my California address?
T-handles ARE the best...
L- handles not symmetrical, uneven teeter-tottery turning. They're like those compact ,swiss-army type allen set...cute but never ideal.
Nice tools
Cool stuff!
How's do I find links please?
The lollipop with magnetic base is unavailable for weeks now, and the company does not respond to questions about it.
What are those weird drill bits for?
They drill and tap at the same time. Much like these but metric: ruclips.net/video/Z6q95f8dS6c/видео.html
Does anyone really use Torx bits, besides a friends GM headlights adjustment?
Most power tools are torx . I see more of the metric hex
Torx are my second most commonly needed bits. Usually high security. Power tool batteries, or just other random gadgets that *they* don't want you to take apart.
European Motorcycles, KTM, Husky,
Of course they're nice to look at. How else would you impress other EDC bros?
Is it just me or does that black magnetic base look 3d printed?
The Silca torque wrench is TERRIBLE! I had two of them fail. The torque driver would skip while tightening. And, as you mentioned, the torque gauge is basically unreadable. Fortunately, Silca refunded me.

and now the hex/square convertible holder is £15 :(
hey, that Lollipop Set does NOT have the ratchet, you added that you sneak
🤪
4:00 3 Nm is not a useful torque value on bikes. 4-6 Nm is useful for 5mm cap screws on stems, seatpost clamps etc.
true, but it is useful with electronics, drones, video support gear, pocket knives, and multitools.
Oh boy. I'm pretty sure my wife *already* don't like you.
❤
Lollipop tool
"you need a magnifying glass" ok cool, excuse to make a video on magnifying glasses! ....lol i see my own sickness on this channel...hmm

I really have to stop watching this channel. This one video and I spent about $100.
How much is the effective weight of only the Lollypop-screwdriver without any other accesories?
