      @@northtexasdentalsurgery I have watched many videos from many other providers and visited a couple in the metroplex just to get a feel, and NOT kissing butt here but I will be seeing you for my dental needs. They ALL were just trying to sell me something and it felt more like a drive-thru than anything personalized if that makes any sense. Thanks so much for replying!

    It can be awfully frustrating going through dental procedures and having them not succeed for sure, and I've been there. I wonder how much of people's problems are caused by providers who aren't as informed and/or skilled as they should be in the procedures they perform.

      Honestly, i feel that a majority of issues we see happen because of dentist error. However, many times there is also patient neglect with lack of oral hygiene, smoking, etc.

    Do you perform Sinus lifting, Zygomatic implants and Pterygoid implants or do you refer out for those procedures? Thanks!

    • @northtexasdentalsurgery
      @northtexasdentalsurgery  2 месяца назад +2

      yes, you have to be adept at all those types of procedures if you do a lot of all on 4 procedures. I used to try to avoid zygomatic implants and try to just do sinus lifting and pterygoids but ultimately, i do find that zygomatic implants are occasionally necessary

    Implant issues aside, what's up with the second patient's prosthesis? Why are the teeth cracked and chipped? Is that normal wear for zirconia?

    • @northtexasdentalsurgery
      @northtexasdentalsurgery  2 месяца назад +1

      that's not zirc. its a temp pmma (acrylic). sad story. her dentist turned her away after the initial work and before finalizing her. she spent like 45k and didnt even get a partial refund. she's now stuck having to spend more money to try to get her implant removed and new ones placed.

    Where are the questions before having my front 1 teeth implant!
    It’s been a week since my tooth was taken out 😢 it was a broken crown teeth 😢, when do I see my dentist specialist for consultation for an implant?
    I’m from Sydney, Australia 11:01 🇦🇺 at the moment I have a denture there as it front teeth 🦷 and I don’t want to look ugly without a 1 front tooth 😅

    I have no smell or taste.. I had dental implants 4 in 1… have seen ENT steroids antibiotics, now have no top teeth dentist asked me to go on antidepressants from🇦🇺

      sorry to hear that dash. that's very interesting. If you cant taste and smell, probably has to do with the olfactory nerve but that is high up in the nose. I would doubt your implant procedure had any implants hitting up there because that is very high in the nasal area.

    You guys don't have dental board over there?

    • @northtexasdentalsurgery
      @northtexasdentalsurgery  2 месяца назад

      we do. i dont like to throw people under the bus even though i dont agree with how these situations were handled. to my understanding the second patient received her money back after she complained so i'm happy for her.
