Will make my appointment with you in the summer of 2022, Belton TX. Enjoy watching your videos and hearing how you practice with good sound judgement. Great day to you and thanks.
Hello Dr. Choi I am a sixth-year-old male who has had his lower teeth removed recently about May 2020 and currently receiving social security income but I am starting to rejoin the working class again I have enrolled whit Ameritas insurance corporations for dental & vision even though I live in St Louis, M0 I am interested in seeking out your professional help whit not only my lower but also my the upper I feel you are one of a kind in the field of dentistry that truly works for all people and we are very thankful

Am 66 and live in NW Arkansas, I DO wish your office was here! I am shopping now to make choice between All in 4 vs. Snap on. Your videos are awesome. The dentist I am considering doesn't offer full sedation and I have 20 teeth to be removed. Not sure... Thanks soooooo much! Dan
@@northtexasdentalsurgery My dentist said everything is done in his office, but I didn't see a name for an oral surgeon. Also when I asked about a panoramic xray the tech said they don't do that??? Hiw can I find a really skilled DDS and Oral Surgeon in West central FL. If you know of any...... I am thinking about snap in dentures his estimate is $13,000 for upper & $13,000 for the lower. 4 implants on upper 2 implants on the lower with 2 bone graphs.
I had my teeth pulled August of 2020, it just seemed like they were always melting or breaking so at 60, I said enough is enough. In March I got my dentures. Even though they are somewhat snug, I wish they were tighter so have been contemplating snap in dentures. I have heard some horror stories with regards to infection. I’m going to keep researching before I decide.
I didn’t have a lot of pain. Just couldn’t eat much. I had immediate dentures, after six months I got my Permanent dentures. Can’t say I’m having fun and can eat anything. It’s just not true. I stopped using glue yo hold them in…I just don’t like it. Good luck!
I just had all my teeth removed a week ago. Im still in pain. He said my roots were so long and he was pulling my jaw back and forth trying to get some of them out. It took from 4pm to almost 10 pm. Im so sore. The first 2 days i didn't have meds because of the hurricane every pharmacy was closed. I suffered for 2 days. I can't wear the temps dentures because im afraid . but i need to stop hurting.
Bless your heart. Whew I feel your pain while reading this. I pray you are getting better. That had to be an absolute nightmare, and hope your better now.
So wish I would have found you before I went to Aspen dental. I do have in plants and I do have the snappins and I do love them but my implants are not straight I will have a problem keeping them in and keep in that spacer's in wish I'd found you sooner
@@tomicochran5412 I'm about to move forward with snap ins at Aspen too... Your the 1st person I've found whose went there for them too! How are they now... They're costing 25k total but my oop is only 8k so I'm worried that they're gonna hit me at the end of it all with thousands more bc insurance didn't end up paying 6k their estimate says
Hi. Don’t you have to have a wax try-in if you are having a new denture made? Just interested because I am coming up to the 2yr And $50k portion of my implants and I’m just at the wax part. Getting discouraged with the whole process.
Good luck and have patience is my best advice. I’m almost home. Waiting for implants to heal. Started in November with 21 remaining teeth to be extracted, ( unfortunately I smoked my teeth away) I wish I could have a do over. Everyone talks about cancer, stroke, heart attack etc but very little education about smoking, circulation and tooth loss. I’m not blaming anyone. I loved to smoke it was my only bad vice. But, my gums and teeth didn’t have that same love. I do own that I’m ultimately responsible for all my loss, my pain and financial investment. I’m completely tobacco free and yes, I’m loaded with regrets. Fortunately, I have a great dental team for living in what some call a retirement community, I call it podunk. This doctor is being completely honest. Yes, you will come to despise your flapping dentures. I’ve lost count of the times I wanted to thrown my bottom ones out in the field. Good luck and go eat a burger prior to your April appt if you’re having extractions. It will be the last, best meal you enjoy until your snap on are completed. Covering one’s pallet makes for bland or tasteless foods. So, eat up if you can. I wish you the best and it’s ok to have regrets. They eventually subside☺️
Very informative, thank you,I'm 5 months in on my surgery, implants exposed, 2 lower implants still covered due to bone grafting. Only complaint so far is that i was told not to wear the lower healing denture due to the grafting, this makes it hard to eat simi normal. Another point is the cost, seems to vary from each dental office to another, would not have minded paying 20 grand but in my case , between by dental surgeon and my regular dentist making the snap in dentures, more like 38 grand. If all goes well i'm looking at another 3 months before the process is complete. FYI / i have the all on 4 titaium implants, 4 on top and 4 on top.
I was told by the dentist at Renew Achored Dentures that I wasn't a candidate for the snap on dentures on top. Would it be possible to get bone grafting so that I could get the snap on dentures up top or is there a point to where so much bone is loss that bone grafting would not help or work?
Hi I really admire your devotion to your work and informative videos. I'm looking at needing my whole lower teeth removed due to excessive decay and possibly upper as well, depending on the ct scan results my 2nd opinion dentist has me scheduled for in a little over a month. is that the same as the 3d scan you mentioned? Also I am thinking about either normal dentures or the snap in because the all on 4 type is just so extremely expensive my dentist hasn't even discussed any options with me and even though his practice has great google reviews, they are all about how warm and comfortable the environment is rather than the experience and expertise of the results, not a single one mentioning implants even though implant center is part of the practice name. I'm just concerned mainly about trying to unsnap a denture and needing to use such force it pulls an implant out a couple years down the line after bone might cause shifting and tightness etc, is that ever an issue as long as they are removed regularly for cleaning?
What I find is how to know if the dentist has right skills with his hand to prepare the tooth for a crown or bridge. or does he has the patience to prepare the teeth properly. I find if a patient suggest or ask questions most of the time the dentist feels offended. I had lots of not so good work done done to my teeth by 5 different dentist. Ive long list were work even a simple fillings comes off before a year. Yet my good dentist in Canada, all the composite fillings lasted for good 16-18 years. This experience is in one of the countries in Asia . where medical tourism is famous. Though they have ultra modern laboratories. Am still trying to find a skilled dentist.
Kammy, this is So true! Its Very hard to get the credentials and work history of Any dentist...We are asked to entrust our body to someone without knowing their skill level, training or work history...were patients happy with results? or is there a trail of horror stories that many doctors will cover up so that only good reviews show when searched? I got no problem asking about a doctors skill level but often, you initially only get a desk person who doesnt even Know how well trained their doctor is! we have Also had terrible doctors who have done botched work and despite my best efforts to question everything and research, it Still happenned...bad work done either becuz they were poorly trained OR well trained but questionable ethics and they cut corners Knowingly to save money on their end at the expense of bad work end result with patient...There Needs to be a patient accessible Board of Reviews, independent , and which would reveal to US a dentists Real yrs of training, any issues or lawsuits malpractice complaints and Real patient review history.... at present, most of us try to research beforehand but its like ur going in blind becuz this info is hidden from us.
I have dentures bc I had radiation therapy for cancer. They don’t fit well and I am consistently adding magnets to hold them in place. I do not want implants.
I got my snsp on dentures a few months ago. I had them on for 3 weeks, but I was getting a sore spot on the back left side of my tougue, so I go in for an adjustment. I left, and everything was good. A week or two went by, and I went to clean them. When I took them out, two teeth on the back left side didn't come out.The denture had split off. I immediately got to the dentist. He said he would have them repaired, so I left them. 2 days went by, and I went to get the repaired denture. I put them in and left, thinking he fixed them because they sounded like they really snapped in. Two days after that, they came out again and wouldn't stay in. I go back. He did some adjusting, and they went back on. I left, and once again, two days later, they won't stay in again. I was boiling. I go and he makes some changes and I left. This time they felt good and firm. Finally things were good. All until yesterday. Im not kidding here. I am eating turkey on Thanksgiving Day, and they come off at the dinner table. Can you give me some advice here? I would really appreciate it.
If you start with the snap in denture is it possible to upgrade to the all on 4 ceramic style on the original implants? Or do you need to replace the implants?
Bottoms removed months ago. 4 implants in the front at angles but with an attachment within to make them even at the gum ? Why do i need 4 within 2 inches of space ?
MY SURGERY IS ON FRIDAY OF THIS WEEK FOR MY IMPLANTS TO BE PUT IN---WHAT KIND OF MAINTENANCE IS PUT ON YOU WHEN ALL THESE ARE FINISHED AM I GOING TO BE COMING BACK AND SPENDING MORE MONEY ALL THE TIME AT MY DENTIST I SURE HOPE NOT 6,000 DOLLARS ALREADY SPENT
Also, if that dr placed the imlants incorrectly and he knew he did, thus the reason he removed them, wouldnt the dr be liable to do complete the procedure or reimburse him the cost??
if i were you, i'd get a copy of all your xrays. in regards to him being liable to complete the procedure or reimburse the cost, i would think so. you should get a copy of your records as you are legally entitled to them. btw, if he screwed up your case, i wouldnt want him to finish and you should just get your money back
@@northtexasdentalsurgery Thank you doctor! I apreciate you taking the time to respond. I didn't go back. I have been emotionaly damaged and have been hiding behind a mask for the past two years. I sit here in a lower all on five temp, and bone graft sockets in top jaw that are resorbing by the day. I gave the dr a large lump sum, and so all my money was paid to the dr, minus a few grand that was due once I reveived my perms. I left after the 7th time of him trying to fit me for my top denture. He didn't map out the placement of my previous teeth, so the teeth he was making were tiny, without lip support, gummy but long, and the oddest thing was, he didnt take the impressions of the top and bottom jaw togeher, he did it one at a time, which was bizarre to me. He also didn't restore my natural smile, as only my top teeth showed in life. The bottom temp teeth were 40% visible when i spoke, and he told me it's just the way it is now. The denture was also unwearable for it didn't grip, and the palatte was too thick I couldn't speak. He blamed it on me having a flat pallet. A expert dentist said my anatomy was fine and this was just the drs exuse. Then the aveoplasty. I expressed to him before the procedure of how important it was for my to preserve my jaw. I was a very pretty girl, thus the reason I decided o get implants.Well, my bone resorbed around the placement of the implants/arch, and now my jaw bone is half the width, with all exsess skin in my neck area. I have two more months before my statue of limitaion is up. If I am not reimburded the cost, I won't be able to have the job completed. And another weird thing, he never measured my verticle dimension. His assistant actually took a measurment as I was awakeing from my all on 5 bottom jaw surgery, whichh I read is when NOT to do it. I will get my x-rays ASAP!
Thanks doctor so due to high cost for implants I think another option should be snap on for me I have upper dentures so do you know some surgeon in Arizona that do that procedure.thanks
yes if they removed enough bone to have enough clearance for your all on 4. also the implants need to have a compatible system to allow the multiunit abutments to fit on the implants
I just had these placed 4 on top 4 on the bottom a few days ago. Using traditional dentures while it heals and i HATE them. I realize I only had major oral surgery 3 days ago but I have only managed to eat a bowl of oatmeal in the time. I am starving and fear I will starve to death before i get my snap on overdenture. These dentures hurt so much. Is this normal? Will I be able to eat again before I get my final snap on dentures?
FaceTime my husband's experience he has his normal that it hurts. Shrinking you've got pain from having your bones drilled into. Your dentist though should be willing to realign them tweak them whatever it is they have to do. It has been an 8-month Saga for my husband. I've grown to hate it as much as he does but we're almost through with process
@@carrieb5711 I have finally been able to eat with them no more pain but wow it took a bit. I am still patiently waiting for February for the permanent set. But at least I won't starve to death lol! Took me a month to even attempt actual chewing.
Is it possible after the implants are placed and heal, to get a lower bridge or denture to screw in instead of the snap in? How much are those? I am about one month out of being finished with the snap on for the bottom. Just wondering about any other options.
Would like to do a consultation..have broken top bridge all over started with one bite was not completed..so it broke then 2 then 4.._& need whole new Top.
When I get a tooth pulled I always tell the dentist to use as little novacaine as possible. I have a big tolerance for pain. Can you get this done without being put to sleep?
I have just had my implants uncovered and the abutments attached. Some of them are very long. How is this going to work with my denture? One side they are way longer than the other.....
I am one week in after placement of my implants on the top and i am still in pain! I already had all my teeth removed 4 years ago so all they had to do was place the implants, so now i have some pain and my stitches are starting to come out and i have some white fabricy type of stuff coming out in the front? Any help
I have been watching you, and thankful I saw this video- So here is my question and a back story. I have immediates- and been wearing them way to many years. I had no insurance and honestly had no means to get permanent dentures. It was in 2015 I had all my teeth pulled, and immediates placed. So obviously I have had significant bone loss- I am seeing a dentist on 2-9-23.. ( it’s also my 65th birthday) I’m so torn, on what to do. To go thru the process of snap on, or go with permanent dentures. I do not want to be without a device in my mouth- To be honest, I have lived with my boyfriend going on 7 years, he had never seen me without teeth. Thoughts?
happy bday! go get your estimate. hate to say it but you probably have a lot of bone loss. if you do snap on dentures, you're going to have to pay a lot more to have bone grafting done. another option is all on 4 which has come down in price a lot too. go see what the dentist says
Thank you so much- I wish I was in distance to see you- but I’m not. The dentist that did my original procedures, and placed the immediates, had passed on. He was awesome. I wasn’t sure even if you would see my post, so I thank you
Well I know I need detures but it’s so expensive. Nobody wants to do a payment plan maybe I will win a lottery it bothers me everyday of my life I work 9 to 5 I don’t have 4thousand cash or more
You can get traditional dentures. For anywhere between $500-1.000. For full set they don't cost as much as you think. I am getting traditional dentures.
I have implants but there is a slight crack in the gum portion. I just want to seal this crack

I live in NC 28025. I liked this informed video. I am concerned on how do I FIND an experience snap on denture dentist. Also how would I KNOW they are experienced? Thank you
I just watched your video on snap in dentures hoping for a better understanding of my situation. I started this procedure in January and I've had the same overbite issue since my first denture was made after my extractions and healing. I have had 4 sets of temporaries mad since then and the dentist reduce my jawbone by 1-2 mm on the upper jaw and 4-5 mm on the lower, by his words to correct the bite and place the implants. During the process he actually gave me 2 extra implants in my lower jaw just as a courtesy for all the hassles. Now my bottom lip folds completely over my jaw to the point that it doesn't look like i have a mouth. Just a crooked line even with the dentures in which still have the same issue of overbite as before but now my facial structure is greatly altered . If you got good bone is it necessary to remove so much bone to place implants?
I've had dentists ruin my teeth, gums, bone, jaw and hit my trigeminal nerve causing lifelong damage and pain. Attorneys won't get involved. Other dentists apologize for what has happened to me, but nothing, it seems can be done to hold these assholes accountable for their medical malpractice. Good luck.
Please help me Understand- I had 4 implants placed today- 2 upper- 2 lower...and I can't even tell anything was done?? Just 4 rods put in- no swelling, no pain etc.. no stitches- nothing?? I'm literally so confused?? I figured it would be so much more invasive... My gums had been healed for over a year since the tooth removal- could this be why I feel like nothing was done?? I'm so confused?? Just 4 TINY, . I mean TINY incisions.. I'm just lost.. I expected to see screws or something?!? Or stitches?? But nothing?!? When he said I was done, I was in literal shock... is this normal??
I have 3 on top and 4 on bottom of my snap in dentures . I don’t hear or feel the 4 on bottom all click in and when I go to eat it comes up and it rocks back and forth badly. When I’m eating . I know they aren’t real teeth or even all on 4 but I’m afraid my bottoms ones gonna break. I don’t think he spaced them out evenly . Could that effect it .
yes its possible they're not spaced enough. honestly you should do a minimum of 4 implants for the upper dentures so i'd be worried about that too. if you dont have enough anterior posterior spread on the bottoms then you will experience rocking. also if the angle of the implants arent parallel, that can cause some rocking too.
I'm 75 and have 4 top implants. I do have bone loss!! My Dentist told me in order for my Snap on Denture to be more secure! i need to get a sinus Lift .Is that true?? I decided against it! I'm at my Dentist every 4 months to change the O rings which cost me $450 a Ring!! I'm so stressed. I have a full upper Denture, I would like Palateless Denture. Would that be possible?? Thank you
your denture should fit pretty decently if you didnt have extractions. tell your dentist to give you something called a "soft reline" to at least help out in the interim
I am 73. My Grand wore the same kind of dentures 100 years ago that I was given .What is happening is greed, how fast and with as little trouble for the"Doctor". Am I wrong ?
Had 7 teeth pulled on bottom jaw and two implants inserted. Temporary hurts and does not fit at all. Impressions were done before surgery. Do I need another impression after implants?
im up in a mths time to have the same 7 lower out ,2 implants here in uk. dreading healing and them stupid glue on ones, please keep me posted on how you get on....also no one said if speech affected with lowers...thanks
I had implants put in about a month ago and my dentist just numbed me up real good and i was awake for the whole process. The only time i felt any pain was when he stiched me up just a little bit. I go back in November to get my dentures fitted for implants. My question is i won't wear my dentures till then. Will that affect the fit?
Can I be awake for the surgery? I had my E- day February 20, 2023. I want snap on dentures. I can't lie flat in the chair or I will aspirate. If I get put asleep, gas or IV, when I wake up I will throw up. Bad vertigo. So can I be awake?
I had all my upper teeth removed 6 weeks ago and I really hate my dentures! I went for a consultation wanting a 4 in one and my oral surgeon said that due to my sinus cavity being small he cannot due the 4 in one requiring longer screws but offered shorter implants and a snap in denture. I'm really disappointed and I'm going to get a 2nd opinion!
Interesting/informative/entertaining. Considering bottom implant snap in dentures (2025). Had consultation recently implants ($15+K) other alternative regular denture.-???🤔.
I’m going on two yrs getting my snap on dentures . The first 4 didn’t snap I kept going back . Dentist said I needed 2 more 1 top 1 bottom I agreed . Then he came back said 4 more which would of been over ten thousand more dollars . I was gonna get my money back and go elsewhere . He called and said it was his fault. The other 4 he would do for free. Well it’s been over 8 months . I finally went back the implants are just scattered . One on top he said didn’t take he was gonna leave . He said maybe later it would . He took impressions they call the other day and said I need to re do imprints to get a better fit . The lab wasn’t happy with the impressions. Im afraid is it safe to have an implant in your gum that doesn’t work.? I m lost no teeth . He had a 5 star with the American Dental Association.
Thanks for the informative video. Went to see a dentist today for a consultation for a upper and lower snap in denture set. Was initially planning on doing the mini implants, as the ones you showed from the gentleman that had to have them removed, he advised against it, so I'm going the normal snap in implants. He is sending me for the full 3D scan as you mentioned at the beginning, along with the 3D printing of a implant guide, to make sure that the implants are implanted at exactly the correct location. Its going to be an expensive road, but it really needs to be done.
Hello Doctor. I have one question and I do hope you can help answer. Is there such thing of removing too much healthy bone while performing an aveoplasty, causing the patient to suffer from exagerated bone loss and facial appearance looking anthesically displeasing? I do know the area is complex, but imagine the patient is overall extremely healthy, without gum disease, and relatively young, 42. Thank you!
good question. i need before and after x-rays. particularly the panoramic xray. then what are we talking about? a snap on denture or all on 4 prosthesis?
@@northtexasdentalsurgery It is a all on four, in my case all on five. If when I get my x-rays, can I send them to you and get your opinion? At this point I need a dentist who can restore my smile. He extracted the teeth in my top jaw, and did not use my natural teeth as a guide. I don't know here to turn!
I'm about to get 2 implants tomorrow for bottom denture. But I'm looking to eventually get maybe 4 more for the top I just recently got dentures and i havent even wore them because the top is gagging me i really want a palleteless denture snap on. Also they keep telling me I dont need a soft liner but I really think a soft liner would help me. How much would it be for 4 for the top. And also could my origional upper be used for this?
I am in the healing phase after getting the implants for snap in dentures. I have been wearing dentures for about 5 years. I have always had a strong gag reflex. This works for me keep a box of mint tic tacs or some type of mints in your pocket, as soon as you feel like you are going to start gagging pop a mint, the gagging stops immediately for me. I learned the trick from my dad years ago before I ever even thought about dentures. He learned it from the dentist that made his dentures. Hope that helps.
Hello, I have a problem I’m hoping you can help answer. I have my own teeth on the bottom & snap in dentures on top. The problem is the front teeth are not sitting evenly to the bottom with one side touching & the other not so can’t use the front teeth for biting. The person working on them says it can’t be reshaped & so I have to pretty much live with teeth clashing where uneven. Is this true? Can the denture not be reshaped after they have been completed? Thank you
Loved you video, this was first time I've ever heard about this. I have a upper denture and lower partial, My top denture is very loose fitting that if i cough or sneeze they fly out of my mouth. as for the partial its only been worn few times as very uncomfortable hurts to wear. The dentist left bottom eight front teeth and now their rotten just like my top teeth did, but supposedly they were perfect. I'm so miserable, I cant even use that polydent as takes to much only last maybe couple hours and it gets all over and makes me gag. I really wish I had your help and could afford the procedure. Oh almost forgot, my gums are sore lot time and my bone in top and bottom more than likely are bad also. Just really unhappy, as it effects physical appearance also
I've had dentures for almost 6 years I don't wear them they're horrible I plan on getting snap-ons do I have to wear that denture after the metal implants are put in for the 3-month healing process or can I just not wear it since I'm so used to not having any teeth in my mouth anyhow
Very helpful info Do you do or could explain suction dentures? There's all kinds of info I receive about grants n they're all scams right or is there any organization for implants that you can recommend? My mouth hurts so bad. A dentist I went to said I had to go with out teeth for 6 months before he would fit for ordinary dentures. I'm so sad n at a loss what to do. He said he wouldn't be able to pull them n an ortho surgeon is 2 hours away n I'm not comfortable being that far away if I have complications
In my youth I lost most of my upper teeth through an accident and others went one by one In my mid 70 s I’m now completing a snap in denture Question. Does the denture cover the same amount of your mouth as a traditional denture. I’m thinking upper
I have to have all my teeth removed since they found that almost every tooth in my mouth was decaying at the gum line. They didn't give me hope of saving them, but I was told (and this I think was not by an oral surgeon, because he referred me to one. He says I don't have a lot of bone, so the all on four out of the picture . I wondered if snap on dentures would be something that could be done if a person has less bone.
How long does the snap in part take?. I’ve had the surgery for the implants . It’s been 4 months , now it’s time to get permanent denture and the snap in denture.
very big generalization here but i'd guess cheapest is around $7k to 15k depending where you live in an urban or suburban area, how much bone you need, etc

They eventually subside☺️
who are you
How did it go? 3 years later
If you have the all in 4 implants isn't that a permanent placement not snap in?
@@GoFarFarAway.they can be used for snap ins too
Could you add a demonstration of how the patient removes the snap on denture each night?
I was told by the dentist at Renew Achored Dentures that I wasn't a candidate for the snap on dentures on top. Would it be possible to get bone grafting so that I could get the snap on dentures up top or is there a point to where so much bone is loss that bone grafting would not help or work?
I had bone grafting on the roof of my mouth after I had all my teeth pulled on top. The stuff is kinda like salt that they put in the spot.
How much it cost for bottom denture. I am thinking to get it.
Depends. It varies. I gather it is 20 thou to the surgeon and a less to the dentist.
How do u properly clean the screws?
What about magnets for "Snap ins"
Just a big thank you 😊
glad to help!
Other than cost- why would someone choose snap ons over the all on 4 full arch permanent implants?
And I'm not looking forward to them numbing and cutting again. What do i do. And i was just numbed not put out.
unfortunately its part of the process. maybe they can sedate you
I got my snsp on dentures a few months ago. I would really appreciate it.
sorry to hear that, i hope you can keep update what's going on with your snap-on denture, I wish you well, good luck
I'm having the same problem they come loose when i eat😢
If you start with the snap in denture is it possible to upgrade to the all on 4 ceramic style on the original implants? Or do you need to replace the implants?
yes but the implants must be buried deep enough and enough implants must be spread apart enough to support the all on 4 zirconia prosthesis.
What happens if one implant fails? Does whole thing not work then
Probly not if it's 4 or more.
Bottoms removed months ago.
4 implants in the front at angles but with an attachment within to make them even at the gum ? Why do i need 4 within 2 inches of space ?
Thank you
You're welcome

Thanks doctor so due to high cost for implants I think another option should be snap on for me I have upper dentures so do you know some surgeon in Arizona that do that procedure.thanks
hi I unfortunately dont but best of luck!
Can the snap on implant be used for later permanent all on 4 if desired? Thanks
yes if they removed enough bone to have enough clearance for your all on 4. also the implants need to have a compatible system to allow the multiunit abutments to fit on the implants
If you opt for this snap on option - do you use mini implants temporarily and then replace those with full implants?
Thank you.
Very good information!

I have been watching you, and thankful I saw this video-
So here is my question and a back story.
I have immediates- and been wearing them way to many years. I had no insurance and honestly had no means to get permanent dentures. It was in 2015 I had all my teeth pulled, and immediates placed.
So obviously I have had significant bone loss-
I am seeing a dentist on 2-9-23.. ( it’s also my 65th birthday)
I’m so torn, on what to do.
I wasn’t sure even if you would see my post, so I thank you
Any one done a regular top denture with just a snap in denture on the bottom? I'm contemplating doing mine that way.
While you are waiting for the healing, are temp teeth put in?
So I know but what can I do about it? It’s my dentist’s job.
Mmmmmmm guess I will keep looking you guys are giving me Great information Wee Scotty From Scotland

Good luck.

I'm so confused?? Just 4 TINY, . I mean TINY incisions.. I'm just lost.. I expected to see screws or something?!? Or stitches?? But nothing?!?
Should the denture fit 'like a glove' during the healing? Mine are flopping and don't stay in place. Extractions 3 1/2 years ago, implants 6 days ago.
your denture should fit pretty decently if you didnt have extractions. tell your dentist to give you something called a "soft reline" to at least help out in the interim

What if you have already been wearing dentures for years? Will these work as well?
Are they all ceramic? So heavy.

Do you have any recommendations for a dentist in the northern suburbs of Chicago ?
Thanks for the informative video. Went to see a dentist today for a consultation for a upper and lower snap in denture set. Was initially planning on doing the mini implants, as the ones you showed from the gentleman that had to have them removed, he advised against it, so I'm going the normal snap in implants.
He is sending me for the full 3D scan as you mentioned at the beginning, along with the 3D printing of a implant guide, to make sure that the implants are implanted at exactly the correct location. Its going to be an expensive road, but it really needs to be done.
Get the price up front
Hello Doctor. I have one question and I do hope you can help answer. Is there such thing of removing too much healthy bone while performing an aveoplasty, causing the patient to suffer from exagerated bone loss and facial appearance looking anthesically displeasing? Loved you video, this was first time I've ever heard about this. I have a upper denture and lower partial, My top denture is very loose fitting that if i cough or sneeze they fly out of my mouth. as for the partial its only been worn few times as very uncomfortable hurts to wear. The dentist left bottom eight front teeth and now their rotten just like my top teeth did, but supposedly they were perfect. I'm so miserable, I cant even use that polydent as takes to much only last maybe couple hours and it gets all over and makes me gag. I really wish I had your help and could afford the procedure. Question. Does the denture cover the same amount of your mouth as a traditional denture. I’m thinking upper
I don’t think so. I think most of your upper palate is exposed, which is good bc you can taste your food better
I wondered if snap on dentures would be something that could be done if a person has less bone.
i was told all on 4 better with less bone
So we should tell our dentist "make sure you get those implants parallel"? How do we know the dentist will or won't?
How long does the snap in part take?. I’ve had the surgery for the implants . It’s been 4 months , now it’s time to get permanent denture and the snap in denture.
