I know what everyone is going thru and I will offer what I was advised. I'm in Mesquite which is a suburb of Dallas. I'm getting dentures and cost is as follow. 25 extractions at $186 per extraction. $2604 for upper and $2046 for lowers. Temporary dentures are $3020 and permanent dentures after 4-6 weeks is $3138 total price is $10,808. If I do a snap in for the bottom denture it is an additional $3500. I can't say for certain but I think a snap in for top and bottom was $22,000. I did not write down the total price because I could not afford it since I have to pay out of pocket. I hope this helps someone.

I'm in shock. I'm looking into this because my mom at 88 years old needs to get dentures. I didn't know how expensive regular dentures were. I can't believe they want $22,000 for top and bottom snap ins but only $3500 more for bottoms, so almost $20,000 for only upper. That doesn't sound right. That should be considered price gouging. That's why it's so important to properly brush and floss, so you don't have to spend this kind of money and go through all this pain. I hope I don't outlive my teeth. I hope I die before I need them. If I get to 88 and need dentures, I'd rather just kick the bucket then give this kind of money for an upper denture.

You notice that dentists pretty much refuse to give estimates of prices. Instead, every single one of them will list off the variables. Of course, we know there are variables, but what we want is a ballpark range. My poor mom has been suffering for years not being able to eat so many foods and she says she can’t wear lower dentures because there’s no bone there, so we’re trying to find a ballpark of the cost of an actual implant. We assume she will need at least two and some bone grafting. But we can’t even get a ballpark. I assume that’s so those who sell and install implants can rip you off. If they don’t tell anyone the price of it then you won’t know how much you’ve paid in comparison to others. I don’t think dentists understand why need need the estimate of say, $900-$1,500 for an implant, and ____ range for bone grafting per cm, or however they measure it. They could give this prices but always choose not to. Yeah it may be different depending on where you live, but they can still give the ballpark price of where they’re practicing. It’s just wrong I think to have these prices so in the dark. There’s nothing stopping people from overcharging for implants bc they know they can get away with it.

Granted, there are exceptions, but it’s been my experience that only wealthy folks can afford procedures like this. My advice: go to Mexico. Not far from Plano Texas, and a fraction of the price. Because dental tourism is huge in Mexico, there are English speaking doctors and hygienists. I wish you luck!

When I went to Clear Choice in VA they quoted me a price of $55,000 for the All On 4 permanent fixed dentures and said I didn’t need any bone grafting. So I don’t know. I am going to do one or the other but I’m going to get a third opinion and see what they say about me needing bone grafts etc. I want to be sure before I put all this money out. Ok so he gave the runaround but hear ye hear ye, Per Google Results for Snap On Dentures a.k.a. Over-dentures
1 implant post plus snap adapter= between $1500-$3000 per tooth (price pending/sliding scale depending on style and quality) need at minimum 4 studs on top and 2 studs on bottom.
1 upper denture fitted and fabricated =between $3500- $8000 (fluctuating due to style/quality)
    1 lower denture= $1500-$3000 (depending on style/quality)
1 set of temp/healing immediate Dentures to heal in/wear until the permanent is made=$300-$1500 (depending on style/quality)
Total price per state standard/cost of living from cheapest to most expensive=
$8500-$12000 in Midwestern and Lower territories $12500-$34000 in Uppermost and Eastern territories.
Hope this helps as I've been looking at prices everywhere for about 2 weeks now and noticed nobody gives us a price on any of the videos even though that's the title. Good luck and healthy smiles for all of you (I need them too/haven't smiled in years) big hugs all 😊 oh before I forget, if you do a consultation at an in network office then your deductible kicks in after $5000 so you're mostly looking to come up with $5000-$8000 and they'll start if they allow financing or payment plans. $5000 is better than $55000 like some places want

No dentist will state a cost for obvious reasons but they could at least give high low ball park figures you'd think. Worse case scenarios is what I always look for as you can only go up from bottom.
I would answer this with a disclosure to begin with to include the date given due to inflation if nothing else. Then move to the rough cost of the IMPLANTS ONLY in total.
Then add to that the fact everyone is different and here's how to ballpark your individual cost, ie. Existing teeth, existing dentures, bone loss, location etc etc.
I think what people (like myself) are searching for with this question is $300+/-, $5k, $15k, $20k, new house! Etc.
I'd recommend searching for individual's story's and what they ended up paying as these dentist will never attempt to answer this question for fear of being held to it as if we're all idiots and wouldn't know to fill in the blanks of missing cost they can't quote over a RUclips video.
If you've had this done please chime in with what you paid, it would be greatly appreciated im sure.
Thanks, and great video with details of what to search for at least. I'm not knocking the maker of this video by no means, just frustrating hearing the same "ifs" from them all.
He did give you advice on how to go about this question, you know your situation ie if you have bad teeth call and get a quote from your dentist on cost of extractions etc and add it all up knowing the x-ray can add delete from it once done.

Between the monthly equipment, office prices, the $15,000 worth of liability insurance, new training, supplies, and employees their costs are insane. I just got all of my teeth extracted, and am going for the 'snap-in' implant option. For me, it's going to cost me about $34,000 (that's after insurance, would be like $60,000+ without). I've had gum disease since I was little, which can be very detrimental to your health. The estimate for the All on 4's was about $78,000... Ya 34k is already an insane price for me, and I needed help from family in order to pay for it. As much as I would love to have all on 4s, it's just not an option for people like me who work jobs that pay barely above minimum wage. Seems fair right? Ya, you could die from the infection spreading to your heart, so.. If you want to live, be able to smile and not be embarrassed, etc.. That'll be at least 30k unless you get some crazy deal.

There is a RUclips video where some guy sells kits to make your own dentures for $89 it's like baking a cake. They send you some wax, some plaster to make a mold the upper and lower teeth and tell you how to make them. If you're a skilled Craftsman or artist you may do a pretty good job. Just Google denture kits. You will still have to get someone to pull the teeth. In the past they never had dentist. The barber used to pull people's teeth with pliers.

@@GospelOfTimothy Sounds interesting; will have a look. Barbers doubled as surgeons; that's why those red and white decorations in front of barber shops depicted blood flowing down. Honestly, if taking care of one's teeth were cheaper, more people would do so and prevent those expensive, dangerous and unhealthy conditions from arising later in life.

I was given a high estimate the visit before and for me it was $2,500 for the temporary dentures and $8,500est for all the teeth plus 2 wisdom teeth. After the procedure it ended up being $7,500 because less needed done during extraction. My permanents will be $3,000. I live in Houston Texas and just had all this work done. The cost varies depending on where you go and I know I could've had it done cheaper somewhere else but I'd rather go to places other people recommend me than the cost alone.
Bottom line if you want an estimate on the work then go to a dentist. The only thing you should be worried about asking before seeing them is if they can perform the work you need done.

I can only wear my top dentures for around 30 min. I prolly need to get all new ones but the reason I can't wear them for very long is because a piece of my eye tooth has come thru where they prolly didn't get all of my teeth out in some areas and this thing really hurts and all my life I have gone to the dentist and so many root canals done I had so many crowns etc. I have so much pain in my mouth it's been a nitemare!!! After I had all my bottom teeth pulled, I had to go back to dentist so many times because he did not get all the pieces of my teeth pulled down in the very front and when I went in the very first time after I had so so much pain in the front gum area at first there was a big flap of skin hanging loose and they said oh it's OK and that was normal not to get all the pieces completely out because it's very hard to pull those bottom front teeth out completely, we I'm sorry I have never heard that before. So I will not go back there again I'm trying to find a dentist in the Columbus Ohio area so if u know of a good one please let me know. I have humana medicaid/Medicare insurance. I desperately need to get this piece of my eye tooth out I keep running my tongue over it and it hurts everything I do it and my top dentures r so loose I can barely wear them at all so I stay home as much as possible, I hate going anywhere at all anymore cause I can't put my teeth in more than 30 min at a time and I'm just so embarrassed because I used to have beautiful teeth but it took a lot of work in my mouth, anyway if u can help me in anyway I would be very great full. Thank u, Kathy Henry, Columbus Ohio.

be a little wary of getting them done in another country as warranties and complications and compatibility of implants and parts can be an issue.

Sara…. Where is the clinic you mentioned? Also, is this for upper and lower or 20k for one only? I am in MS and they are outrageous here. I need to see if I could manage some travel.
      Thanks🙂
