The passenger side is honestly easier to take off the exhaust or just as easy with right sockets n extension n swivel combo
Following this! I appreciate you going through the details I just picked up a v6 g8 I had a gt but a drunk driver wrecked it but I got it back so motor and trans going in the v6 body soon! Appreciate the chain up tips too needed that!

Did u make ur stock gas pedal work with the 5.3 harness??
Yes. I used the existing pedal part and welded on to it a the top portion of a pedal from a Chevy express van to use the dbc throttle cable

Does the stock v6 trans bolt right on to the 5.3?
it does but I highly recommend not using it. Even casual driving it with a v8 will tear the trans apart.
Could you not use the transmission
b gladney no. The 5l60 trans is a six cylinder trans also it’s not rated for anything over 250 ft. lbs. of torque
From my understanding, the V6 trans can only handle about 350 hp, so using it for an LS engine or even putting a super/turbo charger could be bad for the engine

Why 5.3?
After everything is wired up correctly and running. I’ll step up in engine size. I got the 5.3 really really cheap. I did a video on it but i only had 6 minutes of footage. Maybe I’ll upload it anyway

Depends on the engine and trans and power adder u plan to go with. Prices can go from $1000 upwards to a cheap $5000

You’re going to have to change the reluctor wheel on the motor to make the gauges work or use two computers

Can you use a magnum TR6060 trans
Cmac S. Yes. A little fabrication and a custom driveshaft and a new tune in #HPTuners or whatever software of your choice. You can use a Camaro clutch pedal or the G8 clutch pedal.
