You are amazing and strong! 20 miles with stomach issues!! Being sick is hard when you're home and have all the comforts, but to be sick on the trail, cannot imagine that! I'm so glad you are feeling better.
I can’t believe your fortitude and determination while feeling ill. Your teaching your boys about the land and teamwork is so commendable. Hoping you feel better as you continue to hike. I don’t remember if you packed any “stomach” medicine but if not, you might want to pick some up in town. Keep on trucking!!
You all are amazing! 😊 so glad you got into town and got to rest! Sorry you were not feeling well mom. 😥 hope the next day after some sleep 😴 and a good shower you felt better! 🙏. Stay safe and take one day at a time! 😊🌸🌻🙏
I can’t believe you went 20 miles with stomach issues. I hope you’re feeling better, stomach issues are the worst . I can’t imagine having that on trail. Enjoy your stay and if you still are sick maybe Mom needs a zero. Enjoying the videos very much. I wonder if the guy who commented you wouldn’t finish the AT is watching you now 😉
I’m sitting here in my daughter’s treed backyard watching you video. I staying here with my Sweetheart of 55 yrs until I recover from my double wrist surgery ( at 77 yrs old we might call this home) .. Her hubby have generously allowed me to build a nice fire 🔥 ring n have almost daily campfires since I can backpack n hike now. Wish I could have shared the warmth of my small fire that chilly morning before catch a ride into town. Cheers. Papa J.
I know your rushing to do miles. one the best homemade remedies is fresh ginger root sliced down. Slow cook in pot of water till it becomes a dark reduction. You add lemon and honey to taste. It’s strong works better than anything you find in a pharmacy.
