Same here! I am watching regularly and it is great to listen to his story through his music. I and my fellow students at Sutton East had him come in with a jumble of wires and pieces of wood. We were 13 years old, and in Art one or two, doing a special 13 Plus Art course, and he was new to the class that year. He went through the class to the back of the room and sat in the Art Teacher's store room on the floor with that bundle and began fiddling. The boys next to him relayed the message that he was trying to make a guitar. Moments later we suddenly heard some blues music. I was amazed that he could get notes out of that strange bundle, but best of all that I could hear blues notes-Had had he done that?? At that moment, as a piano player myself at 13, I recognised the blues in the minor chord, which I loved and I did not take to Rock and Roll in the Major chord., and felt sure that he wanted to play something that would be different to anyone else. It was very exciting in 1959, Sutton Surrey. I followed anything about him after we had all left but then lost touch with his music. It was not until Beck Bogart and Appice, -AGES LATER that I picked up again, and followed his music from then on. I am very sad that he has left the world but so glad that I can catch up on RUclips!! I can see him standing on a cloud playing his own music in the sunlight!! Cynthia Allen McLaglen

I was at this show, and on the entire 2004 Jeff Beck UK tour. A few things stand out. 1) I spotted Jan Hammer when on my Hotel's balcony,2nd floor, and yelled hey Jan,and said can't wait to see you tomorrow! 2) Ron Wood, signed the Hand out for me,with a drawing. 3)Nancy Sorrell, was so nice, and couldn't believe I was waiting in the rain for Jeff to arrive at Royal Albert Hall. 4)When Jeff played acoustic,'Nothing But Love'there was on the screen a touching video, that was in animation, that was about Love, but also sad...5) There was big rumours the Jeff Beck Group with Rod Stewart playing,I know more, but I'll say it just turned out to be Ron Wood that night... Couple years earlier I was at the Retrospective (3) Shows, and a few years later I was at Ronnie Scott's Residency,I followed Jeff everywhere all the way until his final show 11-12-2022 Grand Sierra Resort & Casono,Reno,Nevada.Jeff Beck,The Best That Ever Was,The Best That Ever Will Be. And a kind person,I think of his friends, and dear wife Sandra, and how he is missed dearly...

      I couldn't agree more!
I was telling someone recently that there were only a few guitarists who changed how the guitar was played. Hendrix was one. Eddie Van Halen was another. They definitely left their mark. Jeff Beck didn't do that. He was so much better that no one could copy what he was doing. Although many tried, they all came up short. Jeff was truly one of a kind! RIP JB.

Jan Hammer was the best at making a keyboard sound like a guitar. And Beck countered as the best at making a guitar sound like a keyboard. You had to pay close attention as to who was playing what part. That's about as tight as it gets.
