So, if the air quality goes bad, can i set alexa to turn a fan/extractor until air gets normal and then alexa turn it off? Like setting the top and low parameter?
I like mine. I notice that it certainly records changes in PM or VOC as things are happening in the house. We're still working through which kitchen appliances are producing the most.
Yes, the Amazon Smart Air Quality Monitor: amzn.to/3UrV2LC will measure suspended particulate matter, which includes smoke, pollen and dust. The setting is the (PM) - Graph for Particulate Matter. I used it while working on my home to measure drywall dust and it worked great to help me know if I was properly venting the space and keeping the dust down.
@@OneHourSmartHome One thing I noticed. When the AQ is indicating bad if I unplug the monitor and reconnect once it has finished calibrating the AQ is good again. Have you experienced this?
does it have actual sensors inside or it is like 1000s of cheap chinese monitors on amazon which have only one sensor inside for voc and guestimate everthing based on that one sensor

I say this because each sensor costs 30-40 bucks and cost of this device is 69. maybe if someone can do teardown to show whats inside.
Why your phone? Why couldn't it use our tablet or your desktop?
How old are you? You can use it on a tablet dude
