Best Fuckin song of all time
One of the most beautiful songs of all time.
One of the best songs ever written across all genres
2020 here, and this is still the best live video of Metallica available on RUclips.
And I’m here right now
James is a god. ♥
This is how this song is meant to be played live. In those 4 pixels, you can see the faces melting off the crowd's faces, the pure emotion there. Not like woooh-oooh-ooo-ooo bullshit that goes along with the solo when they play this song live these days.
Ayush Sharma
i hate when James gets the crowd to sing that too
Ayush Sharma Kirk uses wah in this one too
Dude crowds singing riffs and solos make it so much more fun. Maiden fans are Kings at it
Fade to Black is the greatest song of all time and this is the best performance! Best album of all time!!
better than the Album version!amazing
I wanted so much live in these years :(
My son said the same thing.
My first time I saw them live was during the Justice Tour in Long Beach, CA. They played over three hours! God they were beasts back then!
2022 anyone? We need to talk about how this is the best piece of music ever composed
This is my favorite song ever made
this years was awseom :) No internet, cell phones ..only friends and music:D:D i yearningly for this years :(:(

Hey hope your still rockin this song! 🤟🤟🤟
5:25 when James yells "good bye I say" then he leaves the mic with a headbanging: when I first saw and heard this, James Hetfield became my hero.
5:42 gives me chills
Im not Metallica fan... Im Fade To Black fan... This is a MASTERPIECE. Greeting. From a Megadeth fan.
Metallica and Megadeth best bands
Arda symphony of destruction only good megadeath song.....really
Fuck em all. Saxon is where it’s at, man!
I’m just getting into Megadeth there awesome so far
Its pretty ironic that Jason Newsted was once in Metallica.
I haven't heard a better version of this song, Seattle '89 is the best so far
James's is fucking beautiful in this. Is Seattle '89 there best concert?
I havent seen a better one and Ive seen many. San Diego 92 is unreal but this gig just tops any Ive ever seen. Just so intense. Metallica at their absolute prime!
nope, the whole tour was their absolute prime, i hate how everyone singles this one concert out as the best when there are other concerts that are exactly like this in the same tour.
Jezza Us how about the one in Moscow russia?
+Infinity maybe but to everyone this certain recording sounds fucking out of this world
+awesome101 the moscow show was awesome, but this show is so much more powerful. also the audio in this show is badass
4:42 Where cold shivers start running down your spine
Man not only the best metal band in the world but best band period .
I am an old school rocker. Now mostly C&W.... I'm still a big Pink Floyd fan. Never saw them in person. Last year took my son, almost 18 at the time to a Brit Floyd Concert.... Google them. They were almost as good as the pink Floyd live music.... Check em out.... :~)
Don't get me wrong I Love Metallica's music....
Ya nice they sound good cant beat dark side of the moon.
I really loved the movie "The Wall"..... Animation was s trip....
Comfortably numb is a really nice tune.
This song kicks so much ass. My Dad is 50 yrs old and he still drives around with this blasting from his car.
i keep coming back to this for that ending, makes me jealous of the people that saw it live
Wish i could have been there!
+Jason diaz me too ):
me three
I wish I was alive then lol I love this band to death
James throwing his guitar to the tech looked awesome
This video and lyrics always heals my wounds. Im so happy to have this in my life when hardtimes are here. Timeless band and song!
Two years earlier I randomly ended up on this video through RUclips recommendations ,now I'm huge Metallica fan , i bought all their CDs .
Probably one of the greatest guitar solos in music history. Has to be up there at least.
INSANE guitar solo!!!!!
never tired of hearing this song
5:29 love this part.
That double-base tho!! Gotta love Metallica!!
The best song ever written...i listen to it several times daily
This might be my favorite live version of any song ever. That crowd is absolutely hysterical. I can’t imagine being there that night, it sounds like ecstasy. I get chills (and tears) every time I watch it.
The best fade to black performance!!!!!
Best fade to black performance ever
