      @sirzechsazazel1150 7 лет назад +39

Tolyngee Jesus man, take some pills or something, you have to chill. I've been listening to heavy metal for almost all my life. Metallica started it all for me so they have SENTIMENTAL value to me. No, they are not the most complex. I never said that. That said, I wouldn't
be listening to Randy or Hendrix either if I was looking for such. I love this solo because IT SOUNDS good, not because it's easy, hard or whatever. I know how to play the guitar. Nothing great, but I know most metallica songs, so I know they are quite simple.
I'm a metallica fan, but I certainly did not vote for Trump lol. Not as shit of a human.
I think every metallica fan knows that the Cliff was the best with his instrument in the band. I will NEVER wish death upon someone just because he wasn't as good as other people. If I was, I'd probably wish it upon you.
God, the metal community is real shit now a days. It's all "you like something I don't so you're shit". I don't even listen to this genre of metal that much anymore, but this remains my favorite song. Nothing you can say will change that.
I know it's not too hard. I know James and Kirk were drunk. I know you hate them. I know you get boners with Randy's music. He's a great, I also said that. Still my favorite solo. I'm sorry if you don't like it but BEAUTY DOES LIE IN THE EYE OF THE BEHOLDER.

Nobody can make a heavy metal ballad like Metallica. Go ahead call Metallica sell outs, old, snooty...and the less than hostile critics can even say they don't thrash as good as Slayer or act as evil as King Diamond. Fine. But none of them or even others that have made decent ballads (Helloween, Overkill, etc) come close to this. Metallica just nails these and they will always be the best at them.

Can we agree that Metallica is getting old? I mean, James is in his 50's, Lars is out of shape, Rob is...well who knows what Rob is, and kirk is not as percussive as he used to be. I see all of these comments on how they suck today, but you have to realize that they are aging (sadly). They will never be this good again, so don't waste your time with the comments. But as a loyal fan, I still stand with them and will always support them. Keep listening to this stuff and LONG LIVE METAL!!! Who's with me?

Life, it seems, will fade away
    Drifting further every day
    Getting lost within myself
    Nothing matters, no one else
I have lost the will to live
    Simply nothing more to give
There is nothing more for me
Need the end to set me free
Things are not what they used to be
    Missing one inside of me
Deathly lost, this can't be real
Cannot stand this hell I feel
    Emptiness is filling me
    To the point of agony
    Growing darkness taking dawn
I was me, but now he's gone
No one but me can save myself, but it's too late
Now I can't think, think why I should even try
Yesterday seems as though it never existed
Death greets me warm, now I will just say goodbye
