Beautiful place to visit. We were members up until the pandemic, so it was great revisiting the home and grounds with you. Thank you so much Linda! Love your channel!
Thank you for this beautiful tour, Linda - and I hope you will consider visiting this mansion again during Christmastime (and others like it) - how beautiful they must look during the holiday season. You've brightened my hectic workday today with this one - thank you again!
A truly magical place! And your photography, music and inserts are perfect. Thank you so very much for sharing this inspired and inspiring work of art!
Thank you for including us in this video. Wouldn't you love to go back in time for a day and see these places as they really were. The house and gardens were absolutely beautiful.
Thank you for sharing a tour of this beautiful home and gardens. It is so peaceful. The tea set in the nursery reminded me that I have my Mother's china tea set that she played with as a child. She told me that when she knew certain cousins were coming for a visit she would hide it away so they wouldn't break it!
You go to some of the most beautiful places! Thanks so much for taking us along. You are truly my kindred spirit ... it appears we love the exact same things 💕.
Such a beautiful estate. I imagine the gardens are exquisite in the spring and early summer. Still lovely now. Thank you for the tour. Always so well done.
Those gardens are so lovely, and I especially love the woodwork and the fireplace in the library….thank you again, Linda, for taking us along on all of your great adventures!🍂
Beautiful thank you Linda for the tour of this beautiful home and yes that ribbon would’ve drove me nuts if I would’ve left it the same way it was I would’ve also strained it out myself.💐👍🏼❤️
Prachtig ! And thank you, Linda. So beautifully filmed and the music does honour to the different rooms and gardens...Always enjoying your video´s, greetings from Nederland
This was so beautiful. I remember as a child going on vacation to the Lake Sunapee area. The entry foyer reminds me of the wallpaper in the diplomatic room at the White House . I believe the Hay Adams Hotel in DC “ Hay “ is named for John Hay. Thank you so much for the tour ! I would love to visit one day. My husband and I love history . The butterfly wallpaper was so pretty. The little tea set in the nursery so sweet. The gardens oh my goodness, just beautiful. Did you find inspiration for your gardens while you were there ? I watched this twice and a third time with my husband.Thank you again!
Thank you, Linda, for the excellent tour. I especially appreciated your closeups of things like wallpaper, fine china, and other special features that must have bought the home's occupants pleasure and contentment. Lots of inspiration i side and out. I think I want to live in the Magic Garden!
What a charming house. I love seeing all the old furnishings, and built ins. I would love library shelving in my living room. I like seeing the gardens too.

I liked the children's nursery room best. They had that set up so charming. As you said, the grounds where all those trails and rhododendrons were must be absolutely stunning when in bloom. I can only imagine.
Linda - I thoroughly enjoy your channel. You take me places I’d never get to see otherwise. And I absolutely LOVE your house and all the renovations and decorating also your cooking and baking tutorials! Xoxo
The garden walk was wonderful. I have a 7 foot long old wooden sign in my garden which reads "If I had a flower, for every time I thought of you.....I could walk forever , in my garden". This reminded me of that saying. Just lovely.
Oh such a lovely tour, I enjoy it very much..The garden and grounds are so beautiful too...By the way, I would have fix those two tiebacks on those curtains too! 😂 I once fixed a few pictures they were crooked on the walls of this lovely Italian Specialty Store. Good thing my husband was getting us lunch, and he didn't see me doing that. He gets embarrassed! 🤣 I can't help it, otherwise I will keep looking at those pictures and wanting to fix them so badly...And when I did, it felt great! 👍.....Yup OCD 🤷♀
Beautiful, almost magical place both indoors and out. For me the best bit though was the video of the honey bees drinking from the fountain. I've never seen anything like THAT before
Thank you Linda for this visit to the beautiful home and gardens of John Hay, a somewhat unrecognized statesman of our Nation. He was an accomplished and hardworking civil servant. Can you imagine serving as Secretary of State to Theodore Roosevelt?! Your attention to detail is so fitting. Indeed, I can only imagine the interior of the mansion with your touch. It would be a real tribute and superb! Patricia
oohhhh! What a (much needed) treat!! I just took a walk with you in the Fells Mansion and had the best time looking at all the beautiful antiques and much more. Oh, but then we went into the gardens and my heart felt so lifted with the loveliness of it all. Then to my surprise, we went down a path to the "Secret Garden"... it was thrilling! Honey bees drinking on a fountain!! I would never have noticed if you hadn't showed me. Thank you , sweet Linda, for sharing your day with me. I am feeling so happy with our time together. ❤From Georgia!!
