Haven't tried the wicked food but have tried the motoz rallz tyre and yes very good tyre have you tried the rallz tyre and is the 606 up to the rallz tyre always enjoy watching your videos thanks guys
I haven’t tried the motor tires yet and will have to keep them in mind for my next tire 😊. I know the d606 won’t disappoint though. Thank you for watching my videos 🙌🌶️🏍️
what kind of mileage are you guys getting out of the dunlops?i have a crf 300l with stock tires now that needs a new rear pretty soon and ive only gotten 2200 miles out of it.i ride probably 75%road and gravel roads and 25% off road.
Gary, I'm in exactly the same situation as you with the CRF 300L.. did you get the 606 in the end? I was even considering front 606 and rear 605.. I'm doing 80road / 20 and heard the 606 are not good on road when raining. Any experience to share? Thanks man! Cheers
My brand new KLX 300 came with Dunlop 605s. They’re decent for on road not noisy at all and you can lean them over quite a bit. Off road they’re acceptable but you must be very careful because the front tire can let go very easily until you get a feel for it. In slippery mud conditions the front tire is straight up scary. After 700 miles I switched to kenda trackmaster 2 that are absolutely incredible off road. VERY VERY noisy on road though and I ended up switching back to the 605 on the rear. I think if you’re going to ride aggressive off road the 605 front won’t do. I really need to find a better rear tire off road then the 605s but still quite on road. I think Next I’ll try the Dunlop 606 Good vid 👍
@@joelwallisadv funny you say that cuz the pirelli mt21 I have definitely been looking very closely at. I’m heading to VT next weekend (6/18) to ride a cool looking dirt route I read about on an adventure bike forum so that’s why I’ve been obsessing over tires
great story guys!! since i live in austria where the WR is absolutely unpopular, i soak up every bit of information i can get. i´d like to see a valve check/adjustment vid if possible? not a single vid about that topic on youtube!
Thank you! Be sure to check out my other maintenance videos and other story adventure trips 🙌. You prob won’t find a lot videos on the valve adjustment as not too many wrr’s have reached 26k miles. I have an 08’ with 5k mikes so I have a looong way to go till I reach that point. Another reason to own a wr. LONG live the wr! 👑🤘 cheers from the US 🍻
Hey thanks man! The headlight shroud is the Britannia Lynx R. I have a handful videos about it if you wanted to check them out. Def a sweet upgrade for the adv Moto side of riding. Cheers mate 🍻
All kidding aside, that video was very revealing. And the audio is super clear. Good one.
Thank you 🙌

My last set of d606’s lasted me little over 4k miles and 50/50 off-road to on road.

What comms are you guys using? They seem to work really well.
Using the Sena 20s Evo then I used a audio splitter to feed ear phones and the other to a go pro to record

Thank you for the sharing your experience with the tires mentioned. Are the Kenda TrackMaster 2 a DOT tire or just off road use?
@@joelwallisadv yeah they are legal for road use
@@d_ward4871 right on! I think the Dunlop d606 is the way to go or the pirelli mt’s

@@d_ward4871 I personally like having and would suggest the pirelli mt21 in the front and the d606 in the rear route. Happy camper here with them :)
That was SO MUCH FUN.
🤘had a blast too!
