Everytime we play Everton, Onana and Doucoure always give us problems with their size and strength in midfield. He will definitely add something we have been missing, and hopefully Unai can unlock more levels to his game.

Does he still meet the requirements for a club trained player for inclusion in our UCL squad for next season- therefore will be able to fill one of the slots we were forced to leave vacant last season? I think (and hope) the answer is “Yes” 2.) We’re singing the praises of those in wheeling and dealing, HOWEVER have we dropped the ball with him? We’ve essentially paid Hull £7 million to loan him for a season (sold him for £5 million, now buying him back for £12 million!) Oops!
RE point two, selling him with a buy back clause is often a preferable option to protect against poor form, a lack of development or serious injury (which a loan does not) If Emery feels the talent and potential is now worth the extra money, then it’s a win/win… and ‘thank you’ to Hull for playing him every week and keep his progression moving. D Luis was massively overrated for me and glad hes gone, this guy sounds like he could be a much better bet.
Need a play maker still, Unai could work his magic and height is a positive and he has an engine to what Unai likes work ethic over flare.
