    Brutus the Magnificentus!
Yeah, I doubt I wouldn't dare to go above 100 in that thing, surely 200 is deathly terrifying.

If a Mercedes 600 Grosser represents a civilised Germany, then Brutus is total thuggery on four wheels kept barely under control. The driving experience was likened to riding a cannonball by it's driver.
It doesn't need traction-control. It needs an exorcist.

    70 L/ 100 km ~ 3.36 mpg
Honestly, I'm surprised the fuel economy is this good. Thought it'd be more like 1 mpg or less.

Nein, it needs to be efficient enough to get to London and back, per German tradition.

Those are NOT shock absorbers, which are in fact shock dampers.

@@MichaelKingsfordGray en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Friction_disk_shock_absorber You should edit this article and change the terminology, then.

A modern Formula 1 car is a Rolls Royce compared to Brutus. Actually Brutus is like a Land Speed Record car of the 1920's or 1930s. Get it out on a salt flat and open the throttle secure in the knowledge you have several miles in which to slow down. The driver who wears the flying gear describes the Brutus experience as riding a cannon-ball.
I interpret that as feeling you are not entirely in control & driving is a battle to survive.
