- Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd discusses investigations into two drive-by shootings and a burglary that took place over the last week.

I know that's right! I was born in Polk co. And still have family there. We moved to Ga. And we have one of the worst police and legal people in the state of Ga. O.R. bonds are given to heavy duty drug dealers for instance and our jail has a revolving door! I pray for a sheriff like Grady to get this place back to a good clean city! We have a drive by shooting case right now where a 6 yr. Old little boy was killed sleeping in his bed. Its been 2 yrs. And they haven't caught the killer and probably never will! We have a nice gentlemen who was standing his ground in his own place of business who repeatedly ask the aggressor not to do this but the aggressor kept coming towards him threatening him so he had no choice but to shoot him and now the owner is sitting in prison for murder! We have so many young people that are missing partly due to sex trafficking! We have gone to a murder a year to a month to a week and sometimes more! If you are wondering this is Albany!!!! Polk county be thankful and proud for your sheriff and pray for our city! We need a sheriff Grady and a Buford Pusser!!!!!!

Grady Judd is amazing. I've watched his videos for years and has NO PROBLEM speaking the truth. He is the epitome of what a Sheriff should look like. With his demeanor and level of professionalism , he could EASILY go for a higher office, yet he chooses to be a true leader and fight for the people of Polk County. Kudos to him for using every chance he gets to step in front of the cameras and address these problems head on, without caring about who gets offended. 👍👍

When I hear this man I often wonder if the court system ever puts these criminals in jail. They never get put in jail in New Mexico, even for murder. Why our crime rate is so high.
Yep everyone blames the firearms which is exactly what the politicians want.but if you look at the policies of the justice systems treatment of violent criminals and the increasing rise of these crime it runs side by side. Liberal prosecutors make deals to drop the firearm charges if the criminal will plead guilty to the lesser charge and judges just give sentences that are a slap on the wrist. Also victims are pushed if they defend themselves. This why everything has gotten so bad
It's wonderful that such a difference can be accomplished in law enforcement by one man simply having the fortitude to stand and deliver like Sheriff Judd does.

What does he deliver? He's in front of the cameras weekly claiming to keep Polk County safe, but all he's telling us about is the crime wave of shooting, drugs, and murder. He's nothing but a showman. Right now he's outlining all those running gun battles between gangs. Gangs are not my definition of a safe county.

A coworker of mine had buckshot enter his home when a neighbor shot at someone in the alley between their homes.
It went through the fence first, then the house walls, except for a couple that went through the sliding glass door, one of which that passed over his head as he slept on the couch.

That's the biggest problem we have in many of these locales. Judges and DA's not wanting to do their jobs. When this happens, they should be voted out of office, but we have too many uninformed voters who just vote the party line, not for what's best.

I lived in Polk county and I know Grady. A really good man who holds his officers to high standard and he will arrest his own people and get them much harsher sentences than the average citizen would get.
