I believe he did cut him off on purpose, because he did not want the other Doctor giving out to much helpfull info.
if the other Doctor had given the name of the test, then people would not have to go to them to get the test ran , they could do it themselves.

I agree, it’s hard not to get excited and passionate and want to share too! It happens, I think they both did a great job circling back and getting on track again. Personally, I think interacting and having a discussion about things we’re passionate about makes it hard not to cut in sometimes, that being said; none of us are perfect!

Ten years ago, I was in an auto accident in which I received a TBI. I was a mess - aphasia, pain everywhere, and memory loss. It was only through diet that I healed. It took a few years (probably because we didn't figure out the diet part right away), but I did it. Thank you for sharing this message and spreading the word. You do incredible work.

@@bongiperez7565 Of course! I have colitis, so my body doesn't absorb vitamins the way it should. To get more nutrients, I drink a smoothie each day with berries, greens, celery, banana, along with flax, hemp, protein powder, yogurt, and turmeric (for pain). I take fish oil and a few other supplements. Green tea helps my energy and memory, and I try to eat 10-12 servings of fruits and veggies every day. An egg and sauerkraut in the morning (except on the weekends when we have almond pancakes and bacon, or buckwheat cereal). Good protein is a big deal, along with a daily indulgence of dark chocolate (a keto brand with only two grams of sugar per serving. Letting go of sugar has been a huge change in my life.) It's really a simple diet, with whole foods and easy meals - stir fries, chicken, fish - nothing fancy, just good food.

As someone who’s health has never been the same since a nasty bout of dengue fever that landed me in hospital for a week, I really can’t underestimate how much the way you view a patient means. I’ve since been diagnosed with coeliac disease and am still on the journey towards health. But your videos help so much in making me feel firstly, keep going, you’ll find what your problem is, and secondly you make me feel validated, like I’m not going crazy because I’ve struggled with my health. Very informative. However the majority of sickness is people who live in poverty. I do find it sad that to have access to functional medicine tests and all around help a person needs to be wealthy. Like in a comment below if you really want to help I pray you find a way to help those who live in poverty. They rarely have access to quality food or functional medicine. I live on disability, I receive $700 a month. I have a brain injury and need more help. I’ve done the paleo autoimmune diet yet I’m not improving so as much as I love watching these and so glad your spreading awareness I sit here feeling sad because if I had the money I would be in your office in a second. And my story is not uncommon. Yet thank you for the work your doing and putting out free content. I think talking about the issues of poverty and illness on your channel and how people who are sick but poor can get help I think would be monumental. Love and Light ❤️

Make the diagnosis, treat the disease. This is at its most offensive to truth and honesty with the ascendant Psychiatry where a diagnosis is non Medical in nature and plucked from the air by the ersatz Doctor and then false therapy is presented as sort-of Medical (to suppress "symptoms" or control the defective person) and consists of prescribed drugs, drugs, drugs (lucrative, xenobiotic, halogen containing, brain-drugging, toxic, non-curative) and 130-140 volt electric shocks across the head.

Safe and stable, clear of all psych meds.

Curing the incurable, haemangioma on liver, hypothyroidism and ankylosing spondylitis... coz I said I can 😀
Water and herb tea and herbals for liver support, digestive enzymes pre and post.
Lymphatic massage to clear Hep C treatment debris from "succesful" medication in 2011...while chemically lobotomised for 12 years... that triggered thyroid failure and bamboo spine.
    Pomegranate juice !!
Tamarind in my juice of ginger, apple, celery, cucumber, carrot this morning and I pooped SO GOOD.
I've started running... I've always loved walking and yoga... buy my feet just get so happy I have started breaking into a trot. So.. yeah I'm 46 and I do tabbing with a backpack 😀

    Dr Mark
    Your videos are fantastic
The Guests and subjects are well selected
We understand that at your clinic you look for root cause of diseases
But this is the real fact not all patients can be treated by brilliant physicians like you or others holistic doctors
Patients needs practical easy solution to follow
It will be interesting if with every video you treat one or many subject and give simple natural remedies for people’s who can’t offer the cost of FM visits and tests
This is the real challenge to be a good helpful physician

A great interview! I wondered about your use of antibiotics as do you think its role was to kill the offending bugs in SIBO or act as an anti-inflammatory? When our dog was dying of cancer and had difficulty walking, we noticed that she had temporary but quick relief from an antibiotic shot which enabled to walk again.

I've been navigating "histamine intolerance" _alone_ assuming I have SIBO, leaky gut, and my 50 years of motion sickness and migraines seem to be due to a genetic predisposition to not break down histamine efficiently. I started having MAJOR problems when I introduced a ton of fermented food (thinking that was super healthy) and I pushed everything out of whack. Dr. Hyman and his guests are life savers, literally. There's no one I can see here that GETS IT.

I live in Florida where there is a large population that is older and the medical care is so very inadequate and sad. I'm looking for a functional medical doctor. How would I go about that in South Florida.

This is one of the best health videos I've ever watched! And I've watched MANY! Described some of the things going on with a relative TO A TEE! Incredible way to approach health and disease! Would love to take a relative to your clinic. My fear is that it will be cost prohibitive because I'm sure our evil health insurance system will not pay for this.

I contracted lymes disease pretty bad in 2010 and that was a game changer it’s a constant constant life change struggle . Much of what you spoke about I’ve learned in the last five years because FOOD IS MEDICINE! I wish there were more doctors that took this approach rather than being subservient to big Pharma. Let’s face it “big Pharma doesn’t make cures as much as they make customers”. I wish I’d heard this 20 years ago . Thank you Dr. Hyman for sharing this I’m definitely down with the newsletter
